We'll make a stop at the Supreme Court in Florida, the box office, Hawaii, make a stop in New America, as well as a stop in Illinois. But yes, let's, I guess, start, Robes, with the update. It was a rough travel situation, no doubt, given what happened at Miami International Airport. But, Robes, this was awful. This is a tragedy and several deaths connected to that crash. that we saw over the weekend.

Speaker 2: Five people, in fact, were killed when the Amazon cargo plane ran off the runway in Miami. I'm sure you've seen the video right now, but the people who were killed, they were in vehicles on the tarmac that were struck by the plane.

This plane overshot the runway after landing at Miami International Airport on Sunday. It appears, Robes, yes, the pilots survived. We don't know their condition yet. at this point. But the NTSB is there trying to figure out what in the world went wrong. All right.

Speaker 2: Next up on the run, hurricane warnings are now in place in parts of Hawaii this morning. Hurricane Lowell is expected to make a very close pass this morning just west of Hawaii, and it's going to be basically brushing the island chain as a Category 2 storm. That means they have winds up to 110 miles per hour.

Speaker 1: Now, we always hear landfall. That sounds scary. This one's not going to officially make landfall. That's what the forecast says, but it is causing fits, ropes. Those outer bands sometimes can whip and do just as much damage, but it's expected to continue to bring dangerous high surf winds, rainfall. We're talking a foot plus of rain in some places, but they've been getting this for the past several days, but it's supposed to get through there at some point this morning.

Speaker 2: All right, next up on the run, an Illinois mother says that police say had become invested in the Lindsay Clancy trial, is now accused of killing her two-year-old child. And at the time, she claims she was in a state of psychosis. Corey Walsh is expected to make her first court appearance today on murder charges.

They say Walsh's two school-age children returned home and discovered their two-year-old brother hanging from the rafters in the basement. Walsh was then discovered by a neighbor in a bathtub and had attempted suicide. She allegedly told police she killed the boy because he was the devil and the antichrist. And as you just mentioned, Roe, they say she had become, how they put it, quote, very invested in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial and, quote, had been actively discussing the case via group text message with her friends in the hours before the killing.

He was convicted for a 1996 kidnapping and murder, but he now says there is DNA evidence that could conclusively establish his innocence.
