Speaker 2: But yes, we have We're going to go see what everybody's talking about, and everybody is talking about it, and everybody's spending money. This movie clearly a blockbuster Gangbusters. Do you want to hand at the oscar now or what?

Speaker 1: Yeah? Well, and that's the thing. I want to make sure that we witness this thing that everybody's raving about and talking about. And when better to do it than on a rainy so Yes's that was part of the decision into going today. It's a rainy day here in the Northeast, and so yes, I am so excited to see what everybody is talking.

Speaker 2: Making stops obviously the box office like we just did, but we'll also be making stops in Michigan, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Miami, and Manhattan. We'll also make a stop in Canada and an LA court room. But we want to start ropes along the Gulf coast. I just want to get folks an update about what's coming and what's kind of just sitting there. These storms are always the scary ones that are moving so slowly that they just kind of sit there and they dump water water water.

Speaker 1: That's right, And so there is a tropical depression in the Gulf that has intensified. It's become tropical storm Bertha. I swear I covered a Bertha in along the Carolina coast in the nineties. Is it possible to name has come back.

Speaker 1: I that's so sad that we are now back at Bertha, because I absolutely covered a Bertha. So anyway, this is a tropical storm. It's the second name storm of the Atlantic Hurricane System and it's yeah. It's parked just off the coast of Florida and expected to hug the coast over the next few days as it makes its way northwest.

Speaker 2: Yes, storm watches in place parts of Alabama, Mississipi, Louisiana, and Texas. Again, winds, flooding, storm surge is expected. They do think Robes is not necessarily a landfall type of a thing. But it's gonna hug the coast in such a way there's it's gonna sit there. They say it was moving like a mile an hour at one point. That's terrible. When it comes to rain, totals.

Speaker 1: Lots of rain. Maybe they can get some movies, maybe they can watch the autos. Oh wow, right, plenty of time to do that, all right. Next up on the run, The number of cyclist four cases in Michigan spiked once again over the weekend. As predicted. Health officials there have reported a total of six forty eight cases. That's a jump off about a thousand cases over the weekend.

Speaker 2: Meanwhile, the FDA is still trying to clear up the confusion it cost. After emitting yesterday that a sample of lettuce from the Tailor Farms plant in Mexico produced a false positive, the agency says that doesn't mean, though, that Taylor Farms is in the clear. They say, actually the opposite. There is still overwhelming epidemiological, epidemiological evidence that we struggle with this yesterday.

Speaker 2: So it's epidemiology, yes, But then when you add the illogical.

Speaker 2: So what they're saying is overwhelmingly their epidemiology and their evidence point to Taylor Farms still being the culprit and their iceberg lettuce robe.

Speaker 1: We'd be better off, right because from what I've gathered, that's actually fairly that this is a parasite that's difficult to actually test positive for in a food after the fact. So, yes, the lettuce remains recalled in those twenty seven states, and Taco Bells in five states. They say they've gotten all the lettuce out of their restaurants, but still we've just seen a report about declining sales in Taco Bell, which is understandable given the concern. Now, the CDC says it's also investigating hundreds of cyclostsphoura cases in which the person got sick after eating and traveling outside the United States, so there could be multiple sources coming from multiple countries.

Speaker 2: Apparently eat at your own risk. Continuing on the run here. Now got something else. Folks in particularly in Manhattan, need to be worried about Legionnaire's, a disease that has been an outbreak there, a cluster as they call it. This happens on the Upper east Side where it's been happening, but the death toll from that has now gone up again. A fourth death now been linked to this cluster of cases against specifically, and I think they have specific even zip codes up there on Manhattan's Upper east Side where people are being infected.

Speaker 1: That's right. There have been a total of at least seventy four cases, including several folks who are actually still hospitalized, tied to those cooling towers in dozens of buildings. Legionaire's disease is a bacteria that is found in water and can cause severe pneumonia. It is not usually fatal, but you can see four people unfortunately have already died.

Speaker 2: Next leg of our run takes us to Massachusetts, where jury selection will continue today. In this closely watched trial of a mom who strangled her three young children, Lindsey Clancy has pleaded not guilty in the killing of her five year old, three year old and eight month old back in twenty twenty three.

Speaker 1: Her attorneys expect to make mental illness or postpartum psychosis specifically central to her defense. Five jurors were selected yesterday. It was day one of jury selection. The judge does plan select a total of eighteeners, so they'll have twelve seated and six alternates.

Speaker 2: What a day as well is expected to be in a court in California as we continue on the run. Now, David Singer David's long away. That preliminary hearing is getting underway today, robes, Oh, my goodness, this is the day we are going to finally hear a lot of evidence laid out.

Speaker 1: Yes, and they say it might be really hard to hear, frankly, given the type of evidence they're going to be presenting. They're actually presenting all of this against twenty one year old singer David Burke is his real name, his legal name, to convince a judge that there is enough evidence to go to trial. It's kind of like a mini trial. We've seen these before. But prosecutors say they have DNA evidence, surveillance footage, phone records, text messages all showing that Burke began a sexual relationship with then thirteen year old celestrevs Hernandez before he ultimately stabbed her to death, dismembered her body, and then left her remains into body bags in his white tesla.

Speaker 2: He has again completed not guilty defense. It's going to have an opportunity to ask some questions today of witnesses that anybody that the prosecution might call to the stand. This is supposed to go several days this week. The death penalty is still an option for prosecutors. They have not said one way or another, but David has been when was he first arrested, but he's been in jail ever since his arrest.

And look, this preliminary hearing has been delayed since April, so this has been something that so many folks have been waiting to hear all of the details of this evidence that the prosecutors are going to present against this young man. All right, Next up on the run social media influencers, the Tate brothers plan to fight their extradition back to the UK. We're talking about Andrew and Tristan Tate. They made their very first court appearance yesterday in my AMMI.

Speaker 2: Yeah, they were taken into custody by US officials over the weekend after British officials charged them with a number of new chargers, including rape and sex trafficking.

Speaker 1: I didn't want to hear too much from him, but on his social media he's talking about how the British government is after him and no, yeah, for all of these political reasons. Look, this controversial duo has been huge online. They've got a big following in the so called manisphere. But this has certainly garnered a lot of attention and a lot of interest. And these are brothers who just say incendiary things. They've been banned on every social media platform except for x.

Speaker 2: And that only was lifted after Elon Musk took it over. That correct Quod and his attorney was out there doing the interviews they are pleading publicly, even with the President. There are ties that these folks have to the administration, ties that even helped get them out of some legal trouble previously, as has been widely reported, broke the attorney already. This is what President Trump was elected to fight back on. This kind of foolishness, was putting the ball in his court. You see, they know what they're doing.

Speaker 1: Next up on the run Well head to Manhattan where a forty three year old Army vet set fire to a federal building there in Lower Manhattan. It happened on Monday morning. Andrew Arobaka was armed with a myriad of weapons as he used fireworks to ignite a stairwell outside twenty six Federal Plaza after pouring gasoline over it.

Speaker 2: We see every step of this attack happen because there are cameras everywhere. How big was that bucket he just poured a bucket of liquid out.

Speaker 1: He had a cart he was wheeling with him with all of these weapons and gasoline. Like he came armed and ready with a wheel like a wagon like to pull because he had to carry all that stuff through the streets of Manhattan.

Speaker 2: Yeah, and so he poured his gasoline lycensed thing. They say he also fired these pullet these this airsoft gun fired palletts at the building. But you said the mirror of weapons said they had two acts as a hammer, a machete, three knives. He was eventually attacked, none of eventually almost immediately, Yes, sorry, he didn't get half a block and he was tackled and arrested by police. Some folks suffered minor injuries in the attack, one civilian, two government employees. But they did say he came robes to do some bad damage to that building. Don't know to how many people. But this is a place we have seen targeted. This is our former neighborhood as of six or so months ago, well.

Speaker 2: Yes, but we have seen I mean rose it was an adventure every week of some kind with protests with something happening outside that building. And yes, there was always a huge police presence. This is FBI headquarters are in their ice headquarters are in there, DHS isn't there.

Speaker 1: Yeah, And they knew they were a target, so they were always prepared. So this guy did not go far or get far. But he was described as an anti ice rioter. And right now we are awaiting the official charges. They have not been announced yet, but we can guess they will be a plenty next up on the run. This is just a sad, tragic, awful story. Five people, they were friends, all on a fishing trip, died yesterday on an Ohio river and the details of how and why they died are just devastating.

Speaker 2: Now police say, this is this area of Robes, I should designate it is a suburb outside of Columbus. Is where this river was and where they were hanging out. But police say one person got into the water to swim. That person started to struggle, so two of the friends jumped in to help. They also started to struggle in the water, so the last two friends jumped in for a rescue attempt. Robes all five end up dying.

Speaker 1: And did you read that two of them were sets of parents and there were children left stranded and literally orphaned. At this point, they were running along the side of the bank screaming for help. My family is in the river.

Speaker 2: And this is how Yes authorities end up getting alerted because motorists is driving on a road. Yes robes nearby. They say they see a child running up and down the road distraught. That child tells them my family is in the river. What an awful story. I don't know currents and what they got in trouble and how they got but all five of them roads we're taking out by something in the river that was just too strong for them to overcome.

Speaker 1: Oh gosh, that is just terrible and awful and just a reminder to please be careful, all right. Next up on the Run, eighteen year old Nolan Wells was laid to rest. Hundreds gathered in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to remember the college football player who mysteriously died after celebrating the Fourth of July with friends on an island off the Gulf coast of Mississippi.

Speaker 2: I remembered him as a gentle, calming spirit. His friends in high school football teammates were dressed in black and blue.

Speaker 2: I know those images just young men dressed in that way at a funeral. I've seen that scene too often, seen it personally, and just coming up is just there's a look, and there's a thing when you see young folks dress a certain way in mourning. They're not They dress a certain way robes at a funeral that you normally don't see a young man dress. And it's just that stings to see those young men in that way. But they were all dressed in the colors of Wells High School team. Al Sharklan gave the yuleg offered a fifty thousand dollars reward for information leads to an arrest and conviction robe. Specifically, he is offering an award for information that leads to an arrest, that conviction that suggests robes at least putting in the public's mind that something criminal.

Speaker 1: Yes, and Tyler Perry said he would match that number, bringing it to one hundred thousand dollars. Spike Lee Terrell Owens also attended the funeral service. But yes, in terms of whether or not something criminal did or did not happen, we're still waiting on autopsy reports. We don't know how Nolan Wells died at this point, both from the state and that independent autopsy conducted by the family. And we're going to have a grand jury looking at all the evidence at the end of the police investigation, so hopefully, especially for his family's sake, they will get some answers.

Speaking of yeah, okay, President Trump has announced he is going to impose a fifty percent tariff on Canadian goods in thirty days unless Canada drops what Trump calls discriminatory trade barriers against US goods. Okay, this all comes after Trump threatened on Sunday to impose tariffs against Canada for the wildfires that sent thick and dangerous smoke into the US. So these new tariffs have nothing to do with the wildfires. No, no, no, He's referring to these trade issues. And here's the funny thing. The trade issues he's upset about came about, yep, because Canada was retaliating against Trump's emergency tariffs on Canada. So he's upset that Canada retaliated against his tariffs. He's talking about the fact that Canadians removed US alcohol from their store shelves. They have limited and placed tariffs on US auto imports and dairy products, and he wants those tariffs to go away, and if they don't, he's going to impose now fifty percent tariffs on Canada. But is he recognizing this was all his doing in the first place.

So and I just authenticity is tough. I think it's tough to sometimes fully express and be yourself. Everyone's trying to put on to make people like them. But I do like you can always you always win being authentic, being honest, being loving, and being grateful period. Everything else can just be what it is if you can stick to those four things.

Folks in particularly in Manhattan, need to be worried about Legionnaire's, a disease that has been an outbreak there, a cluster as they call it. A fourth death now been linked to this cluster of cases against specifically, and I think they have specific even zip codes up there on Manhattan's Upper east Side where people are being infected.

The trade issues he's upset about came about, yep, because Canada was retaliating against Trump's emergency tariffs on Canada. So he's upset that Canada retaliated against his tariffs. He's talking about the fact that Canadians removed US alcohol from their store shelves. They have limited and placed tariffs on US auto imports and dairy products, and he wants those tariffs to go away, and if they don't, he's going to impose now fifty percent tariffs on Canada.
