We're going to be making several stops on this morning run. One leg will take us to Biddeford, Maine, make a stop at the Straight of Horn Moves, make stops in DC, Mississippi, and Florida as well of us as a stop on Elm Street. But let's start Robes with this nasty stomach bug that continues to spread. And they still don't know exactly what the source is. But Robes, maybe they have a clue. Now.

Speaker 1: Yes, health officials are saying that they think they just might be getting close to figuring out the source of the cyclost spora outbreak that has impacted thousands, and they say it might be the lettuce.

Speaker 2: Yeah, Michigan, which has been the center of this outbreak so far. Officials there announce it. Their investigation at this point suggests and they put it like this, Ropes quote lettuce or salad greens as the potential source of the outbreak they have not identified as specific grower or supplier, however.

Michigan is reporting, though this is significant, more than twenty six hundred cases and forty four hospitalizations, and at least thirty other states are reporting an uptick in cases, but it's not clear if this is connected to the same outbreak. And look when they're talking about this explosive diarrhea. Obviously, I don't even know how they're tracking it other than you would either have to go to the doctor or the hospital to say this has happened. But imagine how many people probably haven't done either. So this is probably much bigger than it's actually this.

Speaker 2: Absolutely, all right, continue on the run here now. On this Tuesday morning, for the second time in a week, there's been a deadly ice involved shooting, this one in Biddeford, Maine, where an ICE agent fired on a vehicle that the agency said tried to flee.

Speaker 1: The scene, but according to US or Angus King of Maine, the Homeland Security Director told him that the driver had weaponized the car and tried to run over the officer. This has just been a scene that is played out time and time again, starting in Minneapolis.

Speaker 2: But yeah, the shooting is one thing in the incident, but then the scene that plays out afterwards, two different stories, two different stories. So this is why nobody trusts the process. And here we go. Yes, we're supposed to have an investigation to figure all this out, but the victim has been identified as a twenty six year old Columbian national. Now, advocacy groups do say he did have work authorization and was legally in this country. And again last week we saw another shooting or killing in Houston by an ICE agent. That one also an issue where they say the car was being weaponizzed.

Speaker 1: All right, Next up on the run, President Trump sent a letter to Congress informing them what we've been seeing. That the US military action has resumed in Iran. He also says that US naval blockage of Iran of the Strait of Hormuz will resume today at four pm.

Speaker 2: Also said US military kept up a third straight night of strikes against Iran last night. So saying all that, what we're saying is the war is back on, robes does no other way to talk about this. The war is back on. After how one sees fire, then a second ceasefire memorandum of understanding and here we are. We are full on back at war. The President also announced the United States is going to take over control of the Strait of Hormuz. He wrote this on truth social The hormon Strait is open, will remain open with or without Iran. We are reinstating the Iranian blockade so name, because it's only stopping Iran's ships or customers from entering or leaving. All other countries will have fair and open use of the strait. Rose. We spent some time reading this what fifty six page decision from the judge yesterday. It is one of the most damning beatdowns I've heard a judge give in the case.

He settled the case with the IRS, or as some would say, himself, because he is the entity in charge of the IRS. Because the parties were not adverse. Yes, because the parties were both President Trump, he was the prosecutor and the defendant.

But Robes is being widely reported that yes, and Georgia Democrat also, the senator down there, has already put out a statement saying he believes he's about to be targeted, like in some way the President's going to suggest that what happened in Georgia, some kind of way illegitimizes the senators who are now in place in Georgia. Socer is seventy four years old, but just three weeks ago, Florida executed Dusty Ray Spencer, who at the time became the oldest person Florida had ever executed. He was also seventy four, But now Socer is officially one week older than Spencer. But Socer is not going to have the record for long and two weeks Florida is scheduled to execute an eighty year old, So three in a row, the oldest inmates that have ever been executed in the state.

Wells, who was black, was with a group of all white friends and when he didn't return that evening, his parents tracked his phone to the friends home and I saw it was interesting, they said, were a lot of people had gathered. They said it took someone fifteen minutes to find the phone to give to them, and then they said when they got the phone it was too clean. There were no pictures, no videos, no messages from the day he was on the island celebrating old friends.

Yep, and that reboot grows more than one hundred and seventeen million bucks on a thirty five million dollar budget, So it did really well, So that makes it even more surprising.
