But on this run, we had a bunch of stops to make. We're going to be stopping in Massachusetts as well as Michigan. We'll make a stop in Chicago as well as the White House, also in Spokane, Boston, and another stop at the box office this morning. But let us start robes with as we've been covering Cyclospora. As the cases kept going up. We knew robes. They said, this is a generally non fatal illness, but robes. As numbers kept going up, we thought that at some point we're going to see this happen.

Speaker 1: That's right, and unfortunately two people have now died in the cyclospora outbreak. These represent the first deaths connected to the current cyclospora outbreak that is sickened thousands across the country. Michigan reported those two deaths, and people that health officials say had underlying health issues.

Speaker 2: Yeah, Robes in Michigan, of course, has been the epicenter of this outbreak. They are sitting in a little over eleven thousand cases in that state, in about two hundred hospitalizations. Robes they identified. And they don't believe that the lettuce at least is still out there from Taylor Farms. They think they've pulled all of it. But robes. They're talking about other little outbreaks that are popping up in places that they don't know the source robes. It hasn't been confirmed in a test of anything anywhere in a lab.

Speaker 1: It's confusing, and honestly so were these deaths, because according to officials, they are not aware of any other instance where the CDC has reported deaths in this country linked to this parasite. So this is unprecedented and certainly worth noting.

Speaker 2: All right, continue on the run here, now, let's head to the pool. Yes, the sorry, the reflecting pool robes is a story that just keeps on giving. And now prosecutors have decided to drop the charges against all the alleged reflecting Pool of vandals. We got word first robes of the Olympian David Hearn. They moved to dismiss those cases. That was on Friday, and now they've dropped the cases against everybody that they had essentially arrested and hauled in for vandalizing the pool.

And we say it like that because President Trump called his attorney a couple of things. He said she folded like an umbrella in dropping charges against turn and in dropping those charges, Bureau admitted in court in her filing that the damage to the reflecting pool was the result of a rushed, botched installation, not words President Trump wanted to hear.

Speaker 1: Okay, here's what else The President has said, we heard this next up on the run, that Iran has one last chance, but like for real this time. The President has a recent history and a clear habit of making major, ominous threats against Iran only to take them back. Well, he did that on Monday after promising an attack the likes of which the world hasn't seen since World War Two.

Also of note, the President said the talks had resumed and we should expect an update from him today Iran. Meanwhile, I said, no, there are no negotiations going on right now. That's where we are.

Speaker 2: Several other Middle East countries, and he was in the Oval office and he used that word as that guy got call from Iran got called from the other places. You know, I don't want to say, but you could go as far as saying, yeah, they were begging. So yes, folks have begged. And he, you know what, everying he's the nicest guy ever, because robes every time he promises an attack. Then he comes out and says, well, I got a call and they asked nicely, and I said okay, And that's all it takes.

Speaker 1: Next up on the run, Police have arrested a man suspected of starting one of the fires that is currently devastating Washington State. Thirty one year old Aaron Faranacci is charged with first degree arson. He's being held on a one million dollar bond and he is expected in court today.

Speaker 2: The firefighters have been fighting three major fires. They erupted over the weekend. Got some pretty dangerous weather conditions out there. It's forcing now sixty thousand people from their homes, burned more than ten thousand acres and destroyed at least seven hundred structures, and at least as of late last night, rope still zero percent containment on these fires.

Speaker 1: Next up on the Run, Week two of the Lindsay Clancy trial got underway on Monday, after an emotional week of testimony against the Massachusetts mom who strangled her three young children to death. Prosecutors began the day by putting a series of doctors who treated Clancy on the stand.

Speaker 2: Yeah, emotional last week, We're starting off kind of technical this week, robes and getting into the back of about her what medically was going on with her. Prosecution tried to establish the self inflicted wounds on Clancy were superficial and that she was more concerned with her legal troubles than the deaths of her children immediately after the death. Now, the state claims Clancy was sane when she premeditated and killed her children. The fence says she was suffering from a well documented case of postpartum psychosis, and that's what's playing out in court right now.

Speaker 1: So prosecutors read aloud from Clancy's diary, where she wrote in the months leading up to the murder she was completely overwhelmed taking care of her kids and that she was desperate for a mental break. But the defense made some major inroads yesterday, not only with the doctors, but with these diary entries where they made it very clear that Clancy had a brain fog, that she was confused. She wrote all of this down, saying, I want help, I want to be well. We're gonna have a complete wrap of the pretty compelling day of testimony. We could not turn it off. We watched it from start to finish. We'll have it in our next episode.

They have confirmed in the joint statement that Robe they do now plan to vote in favor of Todd Blink Yes.

She said she made that plan quietly a long time ago, and that despite what you've been hearing, all the negativity was not ruining things for her.

Speaker 2: Okay, we're hearing directly from her, so she says she was in good spirits and good health at the tour was one of the most healing, beautiful, correct and special experience itself her life. She has two more shows in Chicago on the tour before wrapping up in London. She'll have ten shows there and she's going to take a break. Ropes's says she's good. I'll take her word for it to hear that it was planned a while back. The timing of the announcement not sure, and it seemed like the group maybe they knew Robes the production company with the show abrupt, it seemed like they were cut off by it.

Speaker 1: That was the first time we heard from them or from Ariana Grande that yes, she was not going to be taking on this starring role on the West End, so that was kind of a big deal. Look, she took about four minutes to say what she wanted to say on stage last night, and then hopefully people will give her a break and let her do whatever it is she needs to do to rest up and come back and be the awesome star that she is.

Speaker 2: In the midst of all this she's still putting on She's going out there and performing every night, which is a hell of a task quite frankly, so good for her. And again I don't know what's going on through all this. I have even more affection for and rooting for her, even more than I was before. Next up on the Run Roads. We talked about this yesterday, the possibility of this happening huge opening weekend for the new Spider Man movie's second biggest opening in box office history. And yes, it was actually bigger than we thought. The initial estimate three hundred and fifty five million, that was good enough for second place all time. Well, the numbers, and this often happens, have been revised and updated, so now we have a final tally robes which does put it ahead of Avengers Endgame. So now Spider Man is the biggest movie opening in the history of movies.

Just before performing his song collaboration with Jimmy Buffett, Same Boat, Zach Brown told the crowd of thirty five thousand that each of them would be getting a free cruise for two on the ship Margueritaville at Sea.
