The sky looks red where we are almost pink. I usually see skies like that when a tornado is coming. I'm used to that from the South. But this is bizarre. It looks like armageddon.

Speaker 1: It does. It's hazy. This is all coming from wildfires in Canada, but it is absolutely creating this eerie like atmosphere here in the Northeast.

Speaker 2: Oh yes, a lot of pew. And this is a health issue as well. We'll get into that a little bit this morning. But on the run this morning, we'll be making stops in Atlanta, make a stop at the Pentagon in Canada, in Maryland and the San Francisco Bay. We'll also be making several stops in Florida this morning. A lot of news coming out of there. Also will be making a stop by the US Treasury, but Ropes. We want to start with a reminder to folks of what we're going to see tonight. Yes, we are in the middle of war, the resumption of war, five straight days of airstrikes against Iran. So the President is going to address the nation tonight, Robes. And I expect he's just going to exclusively talk about the war, is he not?

Speaker 1: Oh, but you are incorrect, my friend. Yes, the President, apparently in his prime time addressed to the nation tonight at nine PM, is expected to talk about US elections and a specific US election.

Speaker 2: People are really nervous about this in the direction he's going to go that. Possibly he's going to go back to twenty twenty in some kind of way, try to justify or present evidence that he says proves he didn't win, he didn't lose that election. Robes, keep a good eye on this. When he did tease the speech earlier this week, says it'll be quote really really big news quote a big announcement. Quote. It doesn't get any bigger. So again nine o'clock this even the President addressing the nation from the White House.

In the meantime, though, and next up on the run, the President announced that Iran has freed a US citizen as a gesture of goodwill as the war and tensions between those two countries continues to escalate. That citizen is Dina Kurari, and her attorney said she's been trapped in Iran since twenty twenty four on bogus charges. He confirmed she is now safe and traveling back to the United States.

Speaker 2: That Trump made the announcement on True Social saying quote, Iran has allowed an American citizen who was wrongfully detained in December of twenty twenty four under the presidency of Sleepy Joe Biden to leave the country. She is now safely outside of Iran and in good condition. The United States of America appreciates the gesture of goodwill by Iran. I was surprised to see him right there.

Speaker 1: Yeah. He actually gave them a credit basically for making that gesture. And Karari's attorney then praised Trump for his clients release, writing on x that this would not have happened but for the extraordinary and relentless efforts of President Trump. Next up on the run. Just yesterday, we told you that the administration was suspending ICE traffic stops after two Ice involved deadly shootings. Well, the President has already ordered them to resume making said traffic stops.

We cannot give up one of ICE's most important effective crime fighting tools, the traffic stop ones. We do we are playing right into the hands of criminals. The radical left Democrats would like to see this done, but it won't happen on my watch. Ice. Be judicious, fair and smart, and go back to do your very important job. I guess that's official. The President this seems to have ordered a reversal impolicy, which means going back to the old policy.

Speaker 1: All right, next up on the run. We were just talking about the forecast. We're expected to have a beautiful day, or it seems like it. When I look on the Apple weather app it says it's going to be eighty degrees, sunny skies. That sounds amazing, but it actually looks nothing like that. We were supposed to have mostly scunny skies. We actually traveled outside of New York City. We're out east, as they like to say, and so yes, we were expecting beautiful blue skies by the ocean, and instead it feels like we're in a dome of clouds. And it's hard to describe just how it feels. It feels oppressive, it does.

Speaker 2: You do feel trapped, like you can't get out of something, that something is descending on you. In some parts, there is some beauty in the sky. You were looking yesterday in the moon. Excuse me, the sun had a gorgeous look to it, pink or something that was kind of ominous but beautiful at the same time. But this is no matter how beautiful it looks, it is dangerous. We are one of millions of people, a lot of you out there midwest Northeast in particular, seeing these hazy skies because of large, why old fires that are burning in Canada. When this happened a year ago, two years ago, this happened and we were in the city, Yeah.

Speaker 1: It was a couple years ago, and it was a similar feeling of armageddon. So the wind is sending smoke down our way from these large wildfires burning in Canada, which is polluting the air. So yes, it could look kind of cool, but it's really actually dangerous for millions of Americans. I didn't realize this. There are more than one hundred active fires. I honestly didn't know this was happening. Didn't see this coming all of a sudden, just looked up and thought, what the heck is going on?

Speaker 2: So I think through the week it might maybe clear up this weekend. We shall see, but just be aware for especially if you're outside, if you're running, if you're compromise in any way in your respiratory system, they do tell you this is dangerous stuff. Continue on the run here now in robes we know this. Governor DeSantis don't play and now has scheduled not one, but two executions on the same day later this month. It seems weird to even say the term double exit.

Speaker 1: Yeah, but that's exactly what is said to happen in Florida later this month. It would be the first time since nineteen sixty four that the state will execute two people on the same day. Apologies, Brody just barked at something. The Florida governor has been signing death warrants left and right over the past couple of years. Last year, Florida set a record and led the nation with nineteen executions. That is correct. Nineteen. It's hard to imagine that that is a correct number, but it is. In fact.

Speaker 2: I don't know how it's possible they could not lead the country once again this year because of seventeen executions we've seen in the country, ten have happened in Florida in twenty twenty six. Now, on July twenty eighth, that's the day of the double executions. James Duckett is scheduled to die at noon and then Dominic Anthony O Chacone Junior is scheduled to die x six pm. And Ropes I saw the now I said, oh, that guy, James Duckett was the one who was supposed to. Is it May or is it March. He was supposed to and they said some DNA that needs to be tested and we all said, fine, knock yourself out. They tested that DNA it was inconclusive, so they rescheduled his and you put it on this day.

Speaker 1: Yes, he was the ex police officer who was convicted of murdering an eleven year old girl back in nineteen eighty seven. And o'sheacone shot his ex fiance's parents off back in nineteen eighty six. These these are murders that happened in the eighties. So these families, these victims' families have been waiting for close to forty years in some cases for basically to see the sentence carried out.

Speaker 2: Because police say the two had been left in a car with an unsecured handgun. And what makes worse ropes they've been on this family trip, They've been to several states. The family was showing up to this home and going into a rental home. The adults got out of the car, they say, to go check into the rental home. Before they even got to the door to get inside the home, they heard a gun shot.

Just a gun out open in a car with two kids. That's and police do say charges are coming in this one roades. These might be severe.

Speaker 1: Charges, and that makes sense, and it seems like that would be appropriate because that is just negligence. Doesn't even begin to describe the outcome of what happened there all right. Next up on the Run, the family of Nolan Wells had what they described as a respectful meeting with the district attorney of the teen who died Fourth of July weekend under mysterious circumstances. The eighteen year old was found off Horn Island on July sixth. He'd been reported missing after he was hanging out with some friends for the Fourth of July weekend.

Speaker 2: There are a lot of mysterious circumstances around this, but they're trying to piece this together. They are waiting for the results of two autopsies, the one officially being done by the medical examiner, and the family has also done an independent one. They also Robes have agreed that the phone is such a key part of this investigation and Nolan Well's phone. According to the attorney, they have agreed to sit down with the DA and go over it together with their own experts. But being in the same room, I mean that helps with some transparency.

Speaker 1: It sounds that is helpful. And the DA had said that or the sheriff at least had said previously that they hadn't gotten to see the phone. And the family has been saying that they believe their son's snapchat was there were photos, videos, messages possibly deleted, so they hopefully can recover that with the help of police. We'll see what happens, but it is at least a good step forward.

Speaker 2: I'm going to head out to the San Francisco Bay for the next leg of our run where Coastguard is called off the search for three people missing there after their boat capsize. This happened near Alcatraz. Authorities believe that what happened was about twenty folks were on this boat, most from the same family. They were on a boat. It's part about memorial service. They had previously confirmed Rode that one person was dead and they were looking for the three others after this pontoon boat capsize. But it's been about twenty four hours of search and they already rode. They said it was a hard decision, but already they say it doesn't make any sense. They have no hope of finding them.

Speaker 1: That is so sad. Four people of the same family died when they were actually trying to memorialize the loved one. The Coastguard says they swept the nearly thousand nautical miles looking for the three and just turned up nothing. But this is just an awful story.

Speaker 2: In the bay you think about. It's not the ocean. It didn't seem like it seemed like a kind of a more of a fine nite and right around Alcatraze. But what carried their bodies off. That's a lot of area they covered and still have no hope. So that's a tough one, all right.

Speaker 1: Next up on the Run, R Kelly is asking President Trump to reduce his prison sentence. The fifty nine year old singer has filed a petition for clemency with the Department of Justice, seeking a commutation rather than a full pardon.

He's currently serving thirty years in a North Carolina prison for his twenty twenty one and twenty twenty two convictions for racketeering, sex trafficking, child pornography, and enticement. It was North Carolina. I didn't realize all this time. I don't know why I thought he had the Illinois somewhere.

Speaker 2: Yes. Defense secretary announced yesterday that the Pentagon will now require service members over the age of thirty to submit to testosterone screening. The way he put it, he wants to make sure, quote, you have the right testosterone levels to operate at your absolute best.

Speaker 2: It's not a joke. It's a real thing. And it sounds a little shocking to hear if you haven't been. I think a lot of people haven't following this male, this man of sphere, this whole the Joe Rogans of the world have been talking about and promoting and talking oftenly they take testosterone. They actually do testosterone replacement for a lot of guys. It's about, yes, getting your levels up, but it's also it builds muscle mass. This is a thing that's essentially for men if you're trying to be a manly man. Is how it's being used out there in the public for these purposes. And he's now saying that it does have an impact on your performance. There is some real science behind that. There is real legitimacy to what to this idea that these soldiers do lose some testosterone, you lose mass. Look, and it does affect your ability to fight, is just the way it's going about him tied to the manisphere. If people just kind of shrug their shoulders about, but they're going to test women as well, I don't know. You can't. You can't give women testosterone.

They do an event down there called Breakfast with the Blues. It was a pretty chaotic scene. This is when they actually have the Blue Angels as a part of a show there with people they go out and hang out in the beach, but robes. The video is incredible. It looks like a tom Cruise top gun fly by of a tower, but you have what essentially looks like a blue Angel buzzing the crowd on the beach. Yes.

Speaker 1: So it became a chaotic scene as the faaighteen super hornet flew so low, the blast from the jet sent umbrellas, chairs, beach tents, people's hats flying in the air. I loved this was my favorite quote. A Florida woman who's been going to this event for the past decade put it like this. I literally thought we were going to be taken out by the Blue Angels, but it was amazing. The Blue Angels put out a statement saying the safety of our hometown communities, spectators, and our pilots is our highest priority. Team leadership is reviewing the circumstances surrounding the maneuver and conducting a thorough safety review to ensure all operations are here too strict Navy and FAA safety standards. People said, all of our tents got knocked down, it was worth it, it was all okay.

That that's just I respect and there's nothing sexier than a fricking fighter pilot and those guys what they're able to do. And those Blue Angels, I've seen a couple of shows. They are We've been around in plenty of roads. These guys are other level. So what happened here I don't know, but I trust them and I to get that experience on the beach, I would have relished this.

Go to Trump's truth social today and go through what he has posted the past twenty four hours, Robes. This is bizarre. He has posted a bunch of odd things promoting himself. They are odd. There's a video of him standing in the Oval office next to the Declaration of Independence and he's holding a piece of paper. You don't know what it is. But he starts talking about TikTok and people talking about TikTok and what's the problem with TikTok. He said, well, I can't do anything about TikTok. Here's the problem. Look at this. I'm number one on TikTok. And he goes through and starts talking about, look how many billions of people are talking about me. It's odd. Robes today, the past twenty four hours have been a really odd day for him on social media and its roads. It's painting a weird picture that goes along with this. We look at it all the time, and I'm saying to you, yeah.

But there are still some folks who say this is flat out illegal. The Treasury Department also announced that Trump's signature is going to be on all new US paper currency. It's always been the true Measury Secretary and then the Treasurer, but now it's the Treasury Secretary and the President. And by the way, you asked about that two hundred and fifty dollars bill. I did look that up. It's languishing in Congress. It's just it's a bill. They have to actually pass it for it to be allowed. Because once again a sitting US president is not allowed to be on currency.

It's been kind of a heavy morning on a lot of this, but some fun stuff here one airline, Ropes has figured out how to make money by having fewer passengers on the plane. And they're doing this by betting that you are willing to pay to keep from having to sit next to somebody.

Speaker 1: I think that's a fair bet. It just depends on how much United Airlines plans to start selling you the option of keeping the middle seat empty. It's probably still cheaper than first class, so that is a viable option. They say the middle seats will have a table that comes down to allow the window and aisle passengers to share. I did see it. It is cool, and the airline says they will start this option in the fall.

Speaker 2: Natural question is how much will that middle seat cost me? We don't know. They don't know how much. Oh, they haven't announced how much they're going to charge for that. They say this is the thing that European airlines do oftentimes, just within europe travel, they offer people this in certain cabins. So we're kind of catching up. Isn't United the one that did the you can now buy all three seats and lay down or something for a family.

One, you don't have somebody normally in a seat, but somebody pays for it, so that's gonna make you money. But also, you have a few people on the plane, you can have fewer crew, you can make money.

Next up on the run, A man tried to rob a bank in Maryland armed with only a kitten. Can't make this up. Police say a man went into a pet store this week, snatched a kitten and then ran out. Then he went directly to a PNC bank, where he asked the bank teller to hold the kitten and then began writing a note. He didn't have the note ready. He had to write it demanding money. He was not prepared.

Speaker 1: It was all right. Finally, on this Friday Eve, our final leg of the run, the World Cup Final is set and it's Argentina versus Spain.

Speaker 2: Argentina, of course you're defending champ. They had to pull out another late game comeback yesterday against England. They were actually down one meal with five minutes to go. In that game. Twice they scored in the eighty fifth minute to tie it up, and then in the second minute stoppage time they struck again two to one. This was unbelievable to watch. It was one of the best games I have seen, maybe the best, because of what was at stake, and because of the teams involved and the stars involved and the rivalry. This was probably my favorite game of the World Cup. I hated it because of Sabine. Watching with Sabine.

Speaker 1: Sabine was so upset. She wanted England to win so badly, and I was coming in and out, and you don't usually yell, you were yelling, and I was seeing on my phone England about to make World Cup history. I mean, everyone thought they were gonna win at that point, it makes sense.

This was hard and then it got nasty actually some pushing and shoving and smacking even between these players on the pitch afterwards. But Rose, it was a hell of a game with great players. I have turned on and I'll say it. My child is thirteen now and she's starting to find guys cute. I don't want to hear it. And Jude Bellingham from England is considered probably the best looking guy of all the world.

We actually traveled outside of New York City. We're out east, as they like to say, and so yes, we were expecting beautiful blue skies by the ocean, and instead it feels like we're in a dome of clouds. And it's hard to describe just how it feels. We are one of millions of people, a lot of you out there midwest Northeast in particular, seeing these hazy skies because of large, why old fires that are burning in Canada. I honestly didn't know this was happening. Didn't see this coming all of a sudden, just looked up and thought, what the heck is going on?

The eighteen year old was found off Horn Island on July sixth. He'd been reported missing after he was hanging out with some friends for the Fourth of July weekend.

Speaker 2: There are a lot of mysterious circumstances around this, but they're trying to piece this together. They are waiting for the results of two autopsies, the one officially being done by the medical examiner, and the family has also done an independent one. According to the attorney, they have agreed to sit down with the DA and go over it together with their own experts. But being in the same room, I mean that helps with some transparency.

Speaker 2: I'm going to head out to the San Francisco Bay for the next leg of our run where Coastguard is called off the search for three people missing there after their boat capsize. This happened near Alcatraz. Authorities believe that what happened was about twenty folks were on this boat, most from the same family. They were on a boat. It's part about memorial service. They had previously confirmed Rode that one person was dead and they were looking for the three others after this pontoon boat capsize. But it's been about twenty four hours of search and they already rode. They said it was a hard decision, but already they say it doesn't make any sense. They have no hope of finding them.

They actually do testosterone replacement for a lot of guys. It's about, yes, getting your levels up, but it's also it builds muscle mass. This is a thing that's essentially for men if you're trying to be a manly man. Is how it's being used out there in the public for these purposes. And he's now saying that it does have an impact on your performance. There is some real science behind that. There is real legitimacy to what to this idea that these soldiers do lose some testosterone, you lose mass. Look, and it does affect your ability to fight, is just the way it's going about him tied to the manisphere. If people just kind of shrug their shoulders about, but they're going to test women as well, I don't know. You can't. You can't give women testosterone.

I loved this was my favorite quote. A Florida woman who's been going to this event for the past decade put it like this. The Blue Angels put out a statement saying the safety of our hometown communities, spectators, and our pilots is our highest priority. People said, all of our tents got knocked down, it was worth it, it was all okay.

Speaker 2: Argentina, of course you're defending champ. They had to pull out another late game comeback yesterday against England. They were actually down one meal with five minutes to go. In that game. Twice they scored in the eighty fifth minute to tie it up, and then in the second minute stoppage time they struck again two to one. This was unbelievable to watch. It was one of the best games I have seen, maybe the best, because of what was at stake, and because of the teams involved and the stars involved and the rivalry. This was probably my favorite game of the World Cup. I hated it because of Sabine. Watching with Sabine.

Speaker 1: Sabine was so upset. She wanted England to win so badly, and I was coming in and out, and you don't usually yell, you were yelling, and I was seeing on my phone England about to make World Cup history. I mean, everyone thought they were gonna win at that point, it makes sense.

This was hard and then it got nasty actually some pushing and shoving and smacking even between these players on the pitch afterwards. But Rose, it was a hell of a game with great players. And Jude Bellingham from England is considered probably the best looking guy of all the world.
