A 53 year old man wearing a “Property of Allah” shirt with an Iranian flag opened fire at people enjoying their weekend on a front patio at a popular bar, killing 2 and injuring 14 others. Republicans are now putting pressure on Democrats to fund the Department of Homeland Security in the wake of the war with Iran.

So what we have now, folks in Austin, Texas in the very probably one of the busiest times of the week, in one of the busiest places a Saturday night, getting into the early morning hours of Sunday, people pottering, partying, two dead, fourteen sent to the hospital in an early morning shooting. Again roads a lot of people, even if you haven't been there, you know about Austin, you know about south By Southwest. But this area downtown, this sixth Street area is as bustling and as fun of an area you will go to.

There's a photo out there circulating that police have out of him with his rifle and he's a large dude. He gets out and starts shooting at people walking down the street. Thankfully, he was walking in the direction where there already was police stationed, just to make sure everything. You know, you've got certainly some bar issues, you've got some folks. So they schedule and they locate police around the area to make sure they keep things safe, not imagining that this would be the scenario they would encounter. But thankfully, from a logistics standpoint, the police were within seconds of where this man got out and started walking down the street with this rifle and he was eventually shot and killed by police.

Speaker 1: And think of the damage he did do, I mean, he got How horrific is that you're walking down the street in this party area. He is literally he got out with a rifle and with his plan. Excuse me, at least from what we can tell the description by police, he got out and was going to start doing more damage and he was stopped. Now, who is this guy? Some information is starting to come out officially, yes, from the Department of Homeland Security to start looking into his background. He's fifty three years old. The name is Indiaga Diagne. It's the best we can come up with here, but robes he is originally from Senegal. But this guy did enter legally, and he is a naturalized US citizen.

Yes, he was shot and killed, but he was wearing a tire according to authorities that said property of Allah and also included an Iranian flag. So they're looking into that. Department of Homeland Security is telling law enforcement to stay on alert and vigilant. And I don't know how they're getting those messages out ropes because they can't even afford the letterhead on the paper.

So really, folks, what we're seeing right now we are possibly in danger from Iran because of what happened on the streets of Minnesota. That's pissed the Democrats off, so now they're holding all of it up. This is going to be the one I think this is going to get a break in this shure.

But Republicans are putting more pressure on Democrats now and think they have better footing, because when you make the argument to the American people that we are holding this up, we are going to hold up ICE funding and in the meantime hold up all funding for the Department of Homeland Security during a time of war.
