He is the roommate and Robes he's the roommate who authorities had been talking to from the very beginning. It makes sense they would go to his roommate first if they were looking for Lament, Yes, that.

Actually there was about a twenty minute standoff. Correct Some family members of his were in a home he had barricaded himself, and they actually had to.

He is facing battery, false imprisonment, tampering with evidence, failure to report a death, on lawful moving of a dead body, and domestic violence. And this wasn't his first domestic violence run in correct, he had his brother. His own brother had called police on him months earlier because he would wake up in the middle of the night and be violent and start screaming and scaring the family. So unclear what's going on with this young man. He's twenty six years old as well, but his own family had reported erratic behavior from him and had gotten police involved in the past.

So they went missing and not together. So this started a search and concern about what possibly had happened.

So right before they actually ended up finding the body of Limone, they knew or something had led them to believe that perhaps this wasn't just them running off, or this wasn't easily explained, this actually potentially was had involved foul play, and they had said that initially that their foul play was not suspected, that they had no signs of foul play, and so yes, we were all hoping, and I'm sure their family was hoping too, that this was a situation where maybe the pressures of school had just gotten to them. These were exceptional students who were there pursuing their PhDs, So obviously they were intelligent and hard working and had done a lot to get where they got to. At least to be studying in the United States for their PhDs, So this was unlike them.

Yes, concerning their parents and concerning their family, but man, that was something even beautiful about the idea of that, and certainly the ugliness that's come now, But where did we how did this come about? Now that things changed, Well, yesterday Robes at another location. This wasn't that again, this suspect is that's now in custody is Lemone's roommate. So this suspect, Robes was at home with family a different location, not his home that he shared with Lemon, but he was at a different location, his family home in the area. And this is where things, I guess the investigation took off and now led to the arrest. There was a domestic violence call to that house robes and it seemed like there was all kind of chaos there that ultimately ended in the arrest.

There are pictures everywhere of this dramatic unfolding of the suspect coming out in a towel. He basically I don't know if he was in the shower, I don't know what was going on, but he is loosely wrapped in a blue towel and he calmly walks out with his hands up over to blize where he is eventually put into this swat truck and was whisked away behind bars. And now the big question is the why what happened? Will he be willing to talk and tell prosecutors, tell police what happened in that apartment? And where where is this young woman? That is the big question right now. There is such deep concern for her and where she may be and what he may have done.

She spoke to her brother, she was in her office, she was in a campus lab. She talked about how busy her days were. They said there was nothing out of the ordinary. She didn't say anything unusual to them, so there was nothing that led them to believe that anything was happening that led up to her disappearance. That was the last time they spoke to her. So around noon she missed her three PM class that day, and then she was supposed to go grocery shopping with a friend at five pm. She obviously missed that as well, and that's when people grew concerned.

We don't know how Lemone was killed, so they have kept that close to the vest. But I'm curious because think about this, babe. If police immediately went to Lemone's apartment, which would make total sense to then talk to his roommate, and if he was last seen at his apartment, where could these murderers, I say murders plural, just by the assumption that I'm sure police are operating by by looking for her body, that she may too have met a fate similar to Leimone. But to where were the bodies at that time? Could they have been in the apartment? Could he have put themselves? I mean, I was just thinking about police being there, showing up interviewing him, and perhaps just hours earlier that apartment could have been the scene of a horrific crime and they didn't see anything out of place, They didn't notice anything.

But the Tampa Bay Times there the one of the local papers, did some digging and found that this our I'm trying to say his name right, Abu Garbaya was arrested twice in twenty twenty three on domestic violence charges, so he has.

But this was according to the petition, from late April of twenty twenty three to May eighth, he would start screaming in the middle of the night about how he is God and we should all bow down to him. We don't know, but this just seems like just an unbelievably unnecessary, tragic situation and just to think that two young lives were cut short for what reason, And it's just incredibly sad. I know the parents and families are hoping to get some answers, and hopefully.
