NOW: Bill Gates Apologizes For Epstein Ties, Admits to Affairs With Russian Women

In a regularly scheduled town hall meeting with staff, Bill Gates apologized for impacting the reputation of the organization because of his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. For the first time, Gates admitted to having two extramarital affairs with Russian women, while insisting he did nothing illicit. Gates also took a moment to give credit to his ex wife Melinda, for always being skeptical about Epstein.

Speaker 1: Hey, that folks. It is Wednesday, February twenty fifth, and Bill Gates has changed his tune. He's going from saying these claims are absolutely absurd and completely false to now saying I'm sorry and yes I had affairs with two Russian women. And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and TJ rogues. People want accountability, they want big names to fall. Well, he hasn't completely fallen, but Bill Gates is now saying I am sorry and admitting to some things he has been accused of, at least tied to Epstein.

00:00:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a big deal, and this is exactly what folks have been clamoring for, from the victims to just the general American public, wanting to see the rich and powerful who were associated with Jeffrey Epstein take some accountability for their actions and not just deny this latest Epstein dump that the DOJ was this around Valentine's Day. It has we have said this, it's a house of cards. It's been Domino's. I mean, we have just seen people falling left and right because emails and documents have exposed folks who were able to deny before without any absolute proof that they did or said some of the things that were suggested. Well, now you kind of can't deny some of the stuff we were seeing straight from Jeffrey Epstein's estate.

00:01:36
Speaker 1: And we should make sure we start with Bill Gates has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing, and he didn't make that clear in this latest update, which came to us Robes from an exclusive report from the Wall Street Journal, which has gotten a hold of as the transcript of the audio I think they've had said of a town hall that Bill Gates had with staff on the West Coast this week, and in that town hall he did apologize for his relationship and admit it to at least two affairs ropes A. Let's keep in mind who this guy is. He has for decades now been one of the most influential businessmen in the world, most.

00:02:15
Speaker 2: Influential businessmen, and then took and used some.

00:02:19
Speaker 3: Of that power it seemed for good.

00:02:21
Speaker 2: He is one of the largest philanthropists in the world, has saved countless lives through some of the research that the Gates, the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation has created. So he has done a lot of good in the world. And that's all important because his reputation is important.

00:02:35
Speaker 3: He needs to.

00:02:36
Speaker 2: Even though he might be a billionaire and one of the richest men in the world, he still requires donations and support financially, and he needs people who have deep pockets to trust him and his organization to continue to do the good work he wants to do. This Epstein smear and these rumors and even what Melinda Gates added to all of this a few weeks ago absolutely is bringing down entire organization and he knows it.

00:03:02
Speaker 1: A Robes he acknowledged, at least in this town hall, is exactly what you're talking about. The idea that yeah, when people give money, they have a choice. They're choosing to give it to us. There could choose to give it to Where do you feel good today about handing money over to the Gates Foundation? And that has to be remembered, Robes in this whole story, this foundation has saved lives all over the world, and this work has been going on for a while.

00:03:28
Speaker 2: Yes, he has been looking for that cure to malaria. I mean, he has done incredible work around the globe and wants to continue to do so. But when you lose We've seen this when you are attached to Jeffrey Epstein. You can deny, deny, deny, and perhaps that might save you some time or buy you some time. But with these emails coming out, these documents coming out, there are just now smoking guns that weren't there before, and now folks are forced to actually admit what their ties, Jeffrey Epstein specifically were, what they did wrong.

00:04:03
Speaker 3: And you did point this out.

00:04:05
Speaker 2: And this is a quote from Bill Gates, and we just want to make sure we're on the record with this. He said, I did nothing illicit. I saw nothing illicit. To be clear, I never spent any time with victims the women around him. Now in this latest document um, there was a couple of pictures of him with women and their faces were blurred.

00:04:27
Speaker 1: We'redacted. We don't know who they are, we don't know what their ages were, we don't know exactly where they were and what orbit they were in. We don't know. But that's key. He's flat out saying, I ain't do nothing. I ain't seen nothing. That's another way to put that. That's what he's saying, I did nothing and I saw nothing. Fine, and he made points about as we get into some more of the quotes and things he said directly to his staff. The other thing he did admit I went here, here, here, here, and here with Jeffrey Epstein. But he also made sure he said I never spent any time on the island or anywhere overnight.

00:05:00
Speaker 2: Yes, he did make that point to say nowhere overnight. And I think he did say that those pictures specifically, did he reference that they were assistants of Jeffrey Epstein who posed with him, who thought it was cool to get a picture with Bill Gates, that they were not the victims who have been named in But you know, we don't know.

00:05:20
Speaker 3: We have to take his word for that at least.

00:05:23
Speaker 1: But Rose, this does come I mean, timing is relevant here. Look, his name has been attached to Epstein for years and years out there, but this is the first time, Robes he has admitted something. I guess I'm saying and saying I'm sorry necessarily for this, he had to have been pushed by this latest Epstein batch of documents, which also came with some quotes from his ex wife. He was for a few days there the focus of a lot of Epstein coverage.

00:05:56
Speaker 2: Oh yes, to remind everyone, we can make it pretty quick. A couple of em that were in Jeffrey Epstein's draft box. We don't know if he ever sent them, but they were labeled to Bill and certainly to the foundation. One seemed like a resignation letter from his foundation, and the other one was he was just pretty pissed off at Bill Gates and was basically like, after all I've done for you, you're now going to turn your back on me. And then he started listing what he says he did for Bill Gates, including getting him antibiotics to deal with an STD that he may have inadvertently given.

00:06:26
Speaker 3: Melinda Gates. He was going to, according to Epstein's slip.

00:06:30
Speaker 2: It, somehow inher of drink or food so that he could try to protect her from this STD he got from from Russian women. So yes, we actually, I think have the actual line here from the second email. To add insult to the injury, you then implore me to please delete the emails regarding your STD, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis.

00:06:55
Speaker 1: That's a damning line. Again, this was written by Jeffrey Epstein to himself. Jeffrey Epstein in a draft you can't think for a moment that he was planning for that to go public. Now you can make the argument that this was part of a he was trying to scheme and he was making up lies to be sent. But this is a guy years ago who was not thinking this was going to become up. It's hard to think this is part of some set up at the time to go public.

00:07:22
Speaker 2: That's why it was so believable and credible, because this wasn't something Jeffrey Epstein every ever intended for other people to see.

00:07:29
Speaker 3: So it did make it seem very believable, and to the point where Melinda actually did speak out.

00:07:34
Speaker 2: And so yes, now we are finally hearing Bill Gates admits something that we haven't heard him admit before specifically.

00:07:41
Speaker 1: And as we hear this admission, the other part of that batch of emails that's relevant to us. Now getting to what he said this week to his staff, again from Jeffrey Epstein in his draft saying, quote from helping Bill get drugs in order to deal with consequences of sex with Russian girls to facilitating his illicit trysts with married women. Now the Russian girls part is relevant. Now, I suppose rogues because of what he did admit to his staff.

00:08:06
Speaker 2: Yes, he admitted to having two affairs, and he did mention that both of the women were Russian. But he also wanted us to know they were smart. He gave us what they did for a living, So it was to think I guess. I'm guessing he wanted people to know that they weren't young girls, although one of them was reportedly in her twenties.

00:08:28
Speaker 3: That still different.

00:08:29
Speaker 2: Young can mean a lot of things when you're talking about Jeffrey Epstein. So I think he wanted to make sure people knew these weren't actually underageen and dearly.

00:08:38
Speaker 1: Do I have it right? Robes? This was a town hall. They were able to submit questions. Yes, he was answering questions. Yes, I assume. I don't know if it was happening live, he was seeing the questions for the first time, or he was able to actually choose. You know, we've been to a lot of these events and those questions. You could submit as many as you want, but they end up being curated in some way by someone before it makes it to the CEO. So I don't know if he knew this question was coming and he had an answer prepared, and even chose to do this.

00:09:06
Speaker 2: I would think that he would have to have known this was coming, and this was a way for him to look transparent but also prepare. And so my guess is he knew these were coming and he chose to answer them because this is what he said. I did have affairs, one with a Russian bridge player who met me at bridge events, and one with a Russian nuclear physicist who I met through business activities.

00:09:28
Speaker 3: So again he wanted us to know they were Russian and they were smart.

00:09:32
Speaker 2: And I do think that had to have been to try and pacify any suggestion that it was someone who was inappropriately young.

00:09:40
Speaker 1: But it just so happened. Bill Epstein mentions Russian girls, and sure enough apparently And what is he has a type? I suppose, yes, Russian.

00:09:53
Speaker 2: Who?

00:09:54
Speaker 1: But yes? But why would he This is the other thing, why would he people going to be able to track these women down pretty quickly? Are they if they're not already out there? You said there was a twenty year old that was connected all.

00:10:04
Speaker 3: The time, and they're one of the women.

00:10:05
Speaker 2: We won't say her name, but her name is out there because she also at one point did work for Bill Gates and work with the physicists. And so they haven't said the timing as to when the affair happened, if it was while she worked with Bill Gates, if she came after she had the event.

00:10:20
Speaker 1: Was she the young the twenty something, well.

00:10:23
Speaker 3: I believe I'm trying.

00:10:25
Speaker 2: I don't know the one who said, okay, so the Russian bridge player was in her twenties when he worked with her. No, so the nuclear physicist, the one who he worked with at some point.

00:10:36
Speaker 3: I don't know her age.

00:10:37
Speaker 2: But the bridge player was in her twenties, and apparently Epstein met her a few years later and paid for her to go to coding school. And then later Epstein came back and asked Bill Gates to reimburse him for paying.

00:10:52
Speaker 3: For her coding schools.

00:10:54
Speaker 2: So you just can see how immeshed they were in these salacious affair.

00:11:00
Speaker 1: What did you make of as well? He chose to mention his ex wife in this town hall meeting? What did you may certainly didn't have to do that, but did so in a way in which he was actually praising her.

00:11:12
Speaker 2: If you will, Yeah, you know what, I think part of it might be guilt because he knows what publicly he has done to her, and to frankly, a lot of the people who he works with and people who work for him are all impacted by these decisions he made, and I think he might feel.

00:11:26
Speaker 3: A little guilty.

00:11:27
Speaker 2: I think he probably feels pretty crummy that she's now thrust into this spotlight which she never wanted to be in. And maybe he just really did want to give her credit, give credit where credit was due, he said, to give her credit. Speaking of Melinda, she was always kind of skeptical about the Epstein thing, and.

00:11:44
Speaker 3: Look, why wouldn't she be.

00:11:46
Speaker 2: He admits in this town Hall that he didn't even become friends with Epstein until twenty and eleven.

00:11:52
Speaker 1: That's significant, which was three years after he had been convicted of sex crimes having to do with underage girls.

00:11:58
Speaker 3: It was known.

00:12:00
Speaker 1: It was known now. I have a hard time understanding that Bill Gates didn't know. He said he should have done more background on him. Have a very hard time believing that.

00:12:09
Speaker 2: I'm sorry, someone who makes it to the level of that Bill Gates does and is one of the most I mean, obviously he's brilliant from a scientific standpoint, but he's a brilliant businessman too. You're telling me he didn't or didn't have anyone else check Epstein's background. He actually claimed that because of the people who surrounded Epstein, he was lured into believing that he was a safe space. And interestingly enough, it's people like Bill Gates himself who made those girls feel like they could have no voice because he was surrounded by the most powerful people in the world.

00:12:41
Speaker 3: So every powerful person who.

00:12:44
Speaker 2: Chose to stand by him or with him contributed to this image of power that created so much of the suffering.

00:12:53
Speaker 1: And they divorced what twenty twenty one, after twenty seven years of marriage or worlds at the time, that was affair and think was it part of the story then and the divorce or it came out a little later. I'm trying to remember this timeline, but I guess it's not a surprise necessarily. We'd heard and known about these things for a while.

00:13:11
Speaker 2: Yes, we had been hearing about affairs, and absolutely had heard about ties to Epstein one hundred percent that she never liked him. She didn't like him by the time think about this. By the time their divorce was announced in twenty twenty one, Jeffrey Epstein had been dead for two years, so his story was out there and it was building at that point, so there were it was more like whispers.

00:13:30
Speaker 3: It wasn't anything direct, all right.

00:13:32
Speaker 1: Well, with this huge bombshell news today, we also are just getting other Epstein related news. Another big name goes down to stay here all right, We continue here on Amy and TJ with a new just coming from a bombshell Wall Street Journal report. Bill Gates at a town hall admitted to his staff at the Gates Foundation that he yes, did have a relationship with Jeffrey Epstein that he believes was wrong. He apologized to his staff for it and any pain he calls them and the foundation, and also admitted to two affairs with two Russian women. As you put it, Rose, he wanted us to know they were smart bridge player and a nuclear physicist. Yes right, yes, all right, But that wasn't the only name been that road. We can't keep up with the names if we start trying to list. Right now, we're talking the biggest names in business, some of the biggest companies. Epstein is still having an impact, and now another big name tied to Harvard. He was trying to lay low, but he's not going to survive us either.

00:14:44
Speaker 3: No, Larry Summers.

00:14:46
Speaker 2: We have heard his name multiple times for years now connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

00:14:51
Speaker 3: He of course is the former.

00:14:52
Speaker 2: Treasury secretary, and he announced just a short while ago that yes, he does plan to resign from his role as a tenured professor at Harvard University.

00:15:03
Speaker 3: There are we have talked about this.

00:15:05
Speaker 2: There are certain roles, There are certain positions that people just don't walk away from, period, and that's one of them. A tenured professor at Harvard University. You don't leave that, you don't retire to spend time with your family. And so this is something another major, major, powerful person to fall from this Epstein drop, this latest Epstein drs.

00:15:31
Speaker 1: Well last year, right, his name was attached to an Epstein drop, and he said he was he resigned from a bunch of boards, and he said he was not doing any more public appearances, canceled, all that stuff gonna lay low. But the one thing he was holding onto was the Harvard gig, and he was going to continue. And now that's gone. And I'm still just fascinated. Robes of how from the Prime Minister's Office in the UK to the White House effort to Harvard to every major company. It is amazing what he was able to do and continues to do. How many I'll keep asking you how long has he been dead?

00:16:06
Speaker 2: It's been well this summer it'll be seven years, so six and a half years right now. And so this is what Larry Summer's official statement was just a.

00:16:15
Speaker 3: Short while ago.

00:16:16
Speaker 2: I have made the difficult decision to retire from my Harvard professorship professorship at the end of this academic year. I will always be grateful to the thousands of students and colleagues I've been privileged to teach and work with since coming to Harvard as a graduate student fifty years ago.

00:16:34
Speaker 3: Woo, So, he says.

00:16:35
Speaker 2: Free from formal responsibility, he said he looks forward to time engaging in research analysis.

00:16:40
Speaker 3: I'm sure it's all going to be behind the scenes.

00:16:42
Speaker 2: As you point out, he had already made that public statement that he was retreating based on growing scrutiny, and this latest document dump just and I think seeing all the other big names start to fall, from former Prince Andrew to the top lawyer at Goldman Sachs.

00:16:58
Speaker 3: It's just that it keeps, it keeps. The names just keep coming and coming.

00:17:02
Speaker 1: Peter Randelshon, UK Ambassador Peter Attia over at CBS News just recently. Who was the lord? You said it was mort Which company was gold Sacks?

00:17:13
Speaker 2: Ah?

00:17:14
Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, who is next? Well, folks will always appreciate you spending some time with us. Just wanted to hop on and give you that update just coming across. Not too terribly long ago, but we appreciate you spending time with us. On t J holmes on behalf of my dear Amy Robots.

00:17:26
Speaker 2: Talk to you
