Speaker 1: So but pranks is we got enough real life going on right now. Yeah, I feel like we've been pranked sometimes. Also it's going on in the world. But hey, they're folks. Happy April Fool's Day. Hope you get through it unscathed. But we need to get right to a number of stories, some of them breaking stories, but several of them were getting updates on today. First of all, the big Nassa launch sending humans towards the Moon for the first time in fifty years. That launch is happening today. Also, we have a historic hearing today at the Supreme Court over birthright citizenship. As we speak, that is going to be starting here in the next little bit. Also a special guest at that. Also the President is making an address to the nation tonight. We just found out about that last night. And we do have concerning news this morning where Grammy winner Megan the Stallion who fell ill while she was performing on Broadway last night. We need to get to all that stuff. But yes, Roades, let's start with what is the big news and big history being made today for a launch.

Speaker 2: Yes, and finally we can begin with some positive, exciting news that can hopefully unify us. All the United States heading back to the Moon, or at least toward the Moon today for the first time in fifty years. Countdown is on for the launch of Artemis two. Four astronauts will head out on a ten day mission that will take them around the Earth and around the Moon.

Speaker 1: Say sling shotting is the word they use, But this is part of the overall Artemis mission to eventually set up a base on the Moon. So this is how it gets started. They did Artemis one, this is Artemis two. But this is the first time that we have a crude mission in Artemis. And this is the first time we have I've seen humans going the direction of the Moon since nineteen seventy two. That was Apollo seventeen. Now like you said, we're sending astronauts to the moon, but they're not going to be on the moon, going to go towards it, so not going to be making a stop but sling shoddering around it. But Robes, you said as well, they're going the trajectory is still going to send a human being farther in space than we have ever seen before.

Speaker 1: Hadn't thought about this, Robes. I don't know if I assumed in history that maybe a president would have attendant Supreme Court arguments. This has never happened before. Absolutely unprecedented. The President of the United States says he is going to attend oral arguments that are scheduled for ten a m. Eastern dime this morning at the Supreme Court. First time a sitting president has ever done this, and Robes there's debate about why he wants to go. Maybe he's just curious, or is he trying to actually intimidate members of the court. Is who he's has pretty strong words for some of them.

Speaker 2: Yes, and a lot of folks have very strong opinions on his motive. But reminder, President Trump did sign that executive order first day of his presidency last year, ending birthright citizenship, something the Constitution guarantees by the fourteenth Amendment. His order was challenged in court, and now that case is in the hands of the Supreme Court justices as we continue.

Speaker 1: Here, Yeah, the President is going to start over there at the Supreme Court listening to argument. It's going to have a pretty long day because he's going to be wrapping it up by giving a prime time address to the nation. Tonight's schedule for nine o'clock Eastern.

Speaker 2: Yes, Carolyn Lovitt, So the President will provide an important update on Iran. So yes, a long day from start to finish where all eyes and ears will be on President Trump. And the President said yesterday the war with Iran would be wrapping up very soon. He even put a timeline, and so maybe a timeline on it. He said, two or three weeks left in the war.

Speaker 1: We have been hearing different, I don't know a little different predictions from the administration, different members about when things can wrap up. A lot of general things like soon, and we've already won and things like that, but that was specific time two or three weeks. And investors liked what they heard. Wall Street did gangbusters yesterday now up eleven hundred points US two and a half percent. The Nasdaq was up about four percent, the S and P was up about three percent. So they liked what they were hearing. Continuing on the run here though, Pope Leo hasn't liked a lot of what he's been seeing, at least when it comes to this war. We talked about his comments on Sunday, paulm Sunday saying that Jesus did not endorse violence. Don't be praying to guy that you hit your target, so we kind of to vanquish your enemy. Yeah, he said, not that Jesus was the principiece. This is not how we roll. But this time, Ropes, he's made more comments and he mentioned President Trump by name about this war in Iran.

Speaker 2: Trump has recently stated that the world would like that he would like to end the war. Hopefully he's looking for an off ramp. Hopefully he's looking for a way to decrease the amount of violence in bombing, which would be a significant contribution to removing the hatred that is increasingly constantly in the Middle East and elsewhere. I would certainly give this call to all leaders of the world to say, come back to the table for dialogue.

The play actually had to briefly pause while they switched her out with an understudy. So she's being evaluated right now. And she had just made her Broadway debut in Mulan Rouge this past week. She's expected to be a part of the cast for an eight week engagement.

Uh, LaGuardia. She says, this is JFK. You need to call LaGuardia tower. Now he kind of said, oops.

But he wrote, quote, the President of the United States is the steward of the White House for future generations of first families. He is, not, however, the owner exclamation point, and there were several of those throughout. This case was brought by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Trump administration has already appealed historic Preservation.

I think we had to see this one coming. He was charged with another duy after a car accident last week where he rolled his suv onto its.

This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well being and work toward lasting recovery. This isn't just about golf.
