Actually what it did cause us to lose a few pounds and our pride even in one incident we might tell you about later. But welcome, welcome to this morning run after a weekend or running for us. But we're going to be making stops this morning in the DRC and Washington State, the Netherlands, making a stop in Idaho today as well, also in Austin, Texas. We'll make a dip down to Louisiana and we'll make a stop at the box office as well. But let's start rolles with the update. It seems every day there's something a little more alarming, if you will, about what's happening with ebola.

Speaker 1: That's correct, So that is exactly where we begin our Monday morning run. At least six Americans we're exposed to abola in this now current outbreak impacting the Democratic Republic of Congo. There are at least three hundred and fifty suspected cases right now and eighty nine deaths connected to this outbreak that was first identified in the eastern part of the country.

Speaker 3: Yeah, we mentioned six Americans. Now we don't have a lot of details about them. It's limited now, But according to the CDC, they are quote supporting interagency partners who are actively coordinating the safe withdrawal of a small number of Americans who are directly affected by this outbreak. The WHO declared to Bola a global health emergency of International Concern over the weekend, but insists the risk to the world population is low. It's worth noting these six Americans. They're going to try to get them out of there. We don't know where they're going, so we don't know if they're coming back here.

Speaker 1: We don't know if they're coming back here, if they're going to be cared for somewhere on that continent or elsewhere. They have given us almost zero details about this. I still can't say the name of this particular strain, and that's why this is even more concerning, perhaps than.

Now, the reason we're mentioning that particular one is that ebola is calls by different viruses six total, four of them can actually affect humans. But this is one of those four, and this is the one robes that is a rare one that hasn't I think it's only called one outbreak before. This one has no not even no vaccine. They don't know what to pull off the shelf.

That's that's a very scary ratio. So as you might imagine CDC sending a team from the United States over to that area right now. But we will of course keep our eye on that situation in the meantime. Next up on the run, President Trump again issued an ominous time sensitive, yet not time specific warning to Iran. The president seems to be threatening to resume military action once again.

Speaker 1: President Trump is claiming victory and sweet revenge in Louisiana. After two term Republican Senator Bill Cassidy lost his primary. Trump has targeted Cassidy for defeat and endorsed his opponent for the primary.

Cassidy was one of that handful of Republicans who voted with Democrats to impeach the president Elephants and Trump. Never forget, this was six years ago. Yes, we thought we were done, but no, the cruise ship there has finally returned home docking in the Netherlands. That happened early this morning. Only the captain and twenty six crew members remained on board, as well as the body of that German Man who died early on from the virus.

Happened yesterday. All four crew members were able to safely eject and are listed this morning in stable conditions.

While the person accused of this brutal attack, we'll be back in court this afternoon, thirty one year old Christopher Lay turned himself in after surveillance photos were released that clearly showed him and the student housing laundry room moments before nineteen year old Juniper Blessing was found in a pool of blood with more than forty stab ons.

Speaker 1: Yes, so last week a judge set lady's bail at ten million dollars and found probable cause for first degree murder. So today what we're hoping to hear is new information surrounding the case, including the formal charges and possibly a motive.

Act Blessing was a transgender student at the university, and their family describes them as quote the most amazing human being we have ever known. This is just a horrific story, but it the family did such a good job of paying tribute to Juniper Blessing, and so it's worth a listen if you're interested in this story.

Yeah, one of four stolen vehicles they were able to steal during this crime spree. The third suspect took off on foot, but several hours later was apprehended and yes, taken into custodies.

In one incident, they reportedly shot a man in the back who was walking his dog. Why are they doing this? What is the point? They do not know? These three teenagers just decided to got nothing else to do on the weekend.
