I didn't introduce myself as well, but on the run this morning, I'm going to be making stopt in Michigan, in Utah, Quantico, Virginia, in Iran, also in our nation's airports. But we do need to get started this morning. Robes. A couple of incidents, a couple of attacks in the country yesterday, one of them in Michigan.

Speaker 1: That's right in Detroit or just outside of Detroit. Authorities have identified the suspect in that attack on a Michigan synagogue. Forty one year old I'm in Mohammed Ghazali died yesterday after he rammed his vehicle, according to police, through the doors of the Temple Israel synagogue in West Bloomfield.

Speaker 2: Police say Gazali, who is a naturalized US citizen originally from Lebanon, was armed with a rifle and died after he was confronted by security. They believe he had explosive something of some kind in that vehicle, because once he drove it into that school, into the synagogue, it caught fire and robes. We saw video of smoke like this was a significant fire, and we saw smoke coming out of that building, and miraculously no one was injured in that synagogue. How many school children do they say, we're in there at the times at the time, A.

Speaker 1: Bunch, yes, enough for it was of deep concern, and look, this guy was, according to police, armed with a rifle and intended to do harm. So a big sigh of relief that truly only he was the only casualty in the attack. But next up on the run we had to Norfolk, Virginia, where that was not the case. The FBI is investigating yesterday's shooting on the campus of Old Dominion University as a terrorist act.

Speaker 2: Gunman opened fire in an academic building, killing one instructor and injuring two others. Police say it was ROTC students that subdued the suspect and as they put it, they were able to terminate the threat. They are not right now robe saying exactly what happened and how the suspect died, But he died at the hands of these ROTC students.

Speaker 2: Continuing on the run here now, the Pentagon just this morning, just a short time really before this recording, confirmed that four US service members died after a US military aircraft went down in a rock. Two others on board survived, according to the Pentagon, but US Central Command made the initial announcement yesterday about the crash, saying they were aware of the loss of a US KC one th five refueling aircraft.

Speaker 1: That statement went on to say this the incident occurred in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury, and rescue efforts are ongoing. Two aircraft were involved in the incident. One of the aircraft went down in western Iraq and the second landed safely. This was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire, they arcing, firming this was a refueling situation where they just there was just an unfortunate accident that took place.
