Speaker 1: The US House of Representatives officially down two members this morning. Tony Gonzales of Texas and Eric's Swalwell of California are now both former members of Congress. Gonzales a Republican, Swalwell a Democrat. Their resignation letters read on the House floor yesterday. They were both facing possible expulsion votes over sexual misconduct allegations.

Speaker 1: Rape allegations against Swalwell. So there is, yes, a criminal investigation going on in New York and another criminal investigation going on in Los Angeles.

Speaker 3: Yeah, and that when that second one we just heard about a found out about yesterday, because we just found out about that second rape allegation against Swalwell. A woman came forward yesterday and we watched every bit of her press conference. She said she believed she was drugged by Swalwell when the two of them met up back in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 1: Her name is Lana Drews, and she described having just one glass of wine with Swalwell before he claimed he'd left something in his hotel room, so she went with him before they were supposed to head out for some public appearance. But that is when drew said she was physically incapacitated by the time she walked through the door of his room. She said he then choked her and raped her. And now yes, the police are investigating.

Speaker 3: She said at her press conference she was going to report this and wrote she said, I'm going immediately. She made clear, I am getting up from this press conference and going to the police department.

Speaker 1: And there is no statute of limitations we learned in California when it comes to rape. So it was eight years ago, she claims. So we shall see what happens moving forward.

Speaker 3: Continuing here on this Wednesday morning run, give me an update here on what's happening with Iran. Look, the deal wasn't reached last weekend. Now this US naval blockade on the Straight of hor Moves is in place. It is in full effect at this point. That is, the United States not allowing shipping traffic of any kind into or out of Iranian ports. This is meant to put strong economic pressure on them to come back to the table, and they might road to be back at the table soon because President Trump said a second round of talks between the US and RANG could happen in the next couple.

Speaker 1: Next up on the Run, a Florida doctor has been charged with manslaughter after his patient died on the operating table. The patient died, according to prosecutors, because the doctor removed the wrong organ.

Speaker 1: The report showed that there was chaos, that some sort of blood event happened where he hit something and blood went everywhere. There was chaos, and in all of that confusion and chaos, he accidentally took out the wrong organ.

Speaker 3: This happened in August of twenty twenty four. The patient was supposed to have his blean remove, but the doctor removed the liver instead. He died. The patient did after what they called catastrophic blood loss. The doctor's name is Thomas Schuknovsky. I haven't it right? Yes, signofsky Sheiknovsky. He's facing a second degree manslaughter charge. We need to get more into this world. It looked like he moved from another state where he was having issue that we're trying to revoke his license for something. Went to another state.

Speaker 1: Another patient that died under questionable circumstances. So yes, now he is facing criminal charges, all right. Next up on the run would be bachelorette Taylor Frankie Paul will not face criminal charges in any additional domestic violence incidents. Utah authorities made the announcement that they are not pursuing charges for two separate altercations that they investigated with her ex Dakota Mortensen. We know that Dakota and Taylor have made competing claims and filed competing petitions protection orders against one another in court. Those have been honored. But this is a mess. But I'm sure a big sigh of relief being breathed by Taylor Frankie Paul that she is not facing any more criminal charges. And they said this didn't violate her parole because she is still on parole for pleading guilty to domestic violence. That period isn't up until August. That's a little surprising as well.

Of course, the video came out and that was it, But I mean, if she would have found they would have found out no charges. What they have gone forward with the season or that video was just interesting.

And yes, this concert was supposed to happen June eleventh in Marseille, but Yay wrote on x that after much thought and consideration, it is my sole decision to postpone my show until further notice. I know it takes time to understand the sincerity of my commitment to make a and he's speaking about making amends for the anti semitic remarks he's made. The song Usic he has produced and created just a few months ago that was entitled Kyle Hitler the merch that he was selling that was very anti semitic. As all of the above, it might take some time. Here Now this story kind of it's spread like wildfire, Robes, and it's probably it might be over now now that an NFL reporter has resigned after a tabloid dustop over her relationship with an NFL coach. The reporter is Diana Russini. The coach is Mike Rabel, Robes of the New England Patriots.

Speaker 1: Yes, so it was a week ago that a tabloid published photos of the two of them at a resort in Arizona. They were holding hands in one picture, looked like they were dancing, hugging out. Both of them are married with kids, and they both down played the photos as a completely innocent interaction. That's what Rabel had to say specifically, and Diana Russini was saying, Hey, this doesn't represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. All of the photos show them alone in a very romantic setting.

Interesting robes to hear what the judge said to him, said, you are avoiding the full wrath of this court because of your wife who was sitting in the court and supporting him.

Yes, they have escalated after an online accusation made by actress Ruby Rose against singer Katie Perry. And this wasn't just any accusation. Yeah, this was disturbing. And now police in Australia are reportedly looking into Rose's claim that Perry sexually assaulted her in a nightclub more than a decade ago.

Speaker 3: And this is just gross. What she describes in terms of the incident that she was laying down like resting on her friend's lap. Ruby Rose was had her eyes closed correct resting, almost sleeping, and Katy Perry pulls Katy Perry's underwear to the side and rubs her private area in Ruby Rose's face. But look, it appears she went to police with the story after talking about it online, and police there in Australia have confirmed they have opened an investigation. Katie Perry's team has put out a very strong response saying that the allegations are categorically false, they're dangerous, they're reckless lies, and then made the point that they say Rose has a history of making serious public allegations against various individuals who also repeatedly deny her claims.
