But on the run this morning, this Tuesday morning run, it's going to take us to Fairfax County, Virginia, to Tehran, Minneapolis, the White House, Indonesia, and Malaysia as well on today's run. But no surprise roads. We need to start our first leg in Minneapolis.

Speaker 1: That's correct, where the state announced a lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security and Secretary Christy Noome to combat what it is calling a federal invasion. They are asking a court to step in and to stop the surge of federal agents to the Minneapolis Saint Paul area and other parts of the state. They are saying this is a violation of our constitutional rights, that the federal government is targeting the state of Minnesota for its diversity and because of its difference of opinion.

Speaker 2: Yeah, because they're progressive, because they're Democrats, is what they're saying.

Speaker 2: And they are being retaliated again. So the protests continued yesterday and last night in Minneapolis. Overwhelmingly these things have been peaceful with robes. They're very disturbing clashes and confrontations going on between protesters and the ICE agents that are just hard to watch. You called it a powder kig yesterday. You're just waiting for the next moment to happen. Meanwhile, the administration continues to say that President Trump is doing his job to protect American people and enforce the law and in their words, no matter who your mayor, governor or state attorney general is. But this continues in Minneapolis, keep an eye on it. We certainly are all right.

Speaker 1: Next up on the run, the man accused of shooting and killing his ex wife and her current husband made an initial court appearance yesterday. Michael David mc key is charged with premeditated aggravated murder in the deaths of Spencer and Monique Teppe. This was in Columbus Ohio on December thirtieth. Those charges were upgraded from what he previously had been facing. So these are charges that could end with much stiffer sentencing.

Speaker 2: Yeah, premeditated aggravated murder. And part of the aggravating factor of this is that the kids were in the house. Two kids and one and a four year old were left in the house unharmed. They still don't know why the hell he did it. You don't remind me they were only married for a short time and this was a long time ago.

Speaker 1: So this is why they have no kids together. And from all the news reports, they were actually together, living together as a married couple for no more than eight months. They moved their separate ways. He went to Virginia for a residency program and she parted, so by the time she filed for divorce, they had been living apart for months. So if you have what basically amounts to an eight month marriage, nine years after the divorce was finalized, he comes back and police say kills her and her husband.

Speaker 2: And they still do not know at this point why he was arrested on Saturday. The court appearance yesterday in Illinois, he waived extradition, so the process is going on now to get him back to Ohio to face these charges. The next hearing in this case, it's expected on January the nineteenth.

Speaker 1: All right, next up on the run. All Americans are being urged to leave Iran immediately. The State Department did not mince words with its notice. The Iran security alert was put out yesterday. And here is what folks who were in that country saw. Actions to take leave Iran now have a plan for departing Iran that does not rely on US government help. That's a scary, scary thing to read.

Speaker 2: It's pretty clear we can't be there for you. You need to get out. They're warning that we don't know what's about to happen, but this thing could absolutely lead to something much bigger than we're already seeing. And what we're already seeing is hundreds of people, at least, according to human rights campaigns and people keeping an eye on things in Tehran, at least six hundred protesters have been killed. You remember, the president was the one to say, hey, we're locked and loaded. This was what a week two weeks ago he said, hey, if they start killing protesters, we are locked and loaded. So now the president is said to be considering all of those military options at this point to see what he is going to do. Meanwhile, the action he has taken is that he's put a twenty five percent tariff on anybody, any country doing business with Iran. Problem with that is that China does a lot of business with Aaron. I think it might be their biggest trading partner in the world, economic partner. So we shall see what happens with that. So the beef with Tehran could lead to further tensions with China. This is where we are. Meanwhile, the text and internet everything's down. You can't get good information out of Iran right now.

Speaker 1: You have been so Nobel Prize winner and Venezuelan opposition leader Marina A. Machado is set to visit with President Trump and on the agenda, according to her, was giving President Trump her Nobel Peace Prize.

Speaker 2: From the moment she got it. You remember she said, I dedicate this and I accept this on behalf of Yes, the Venosugland people, but also President Trump. So this has been talking about for quite a bit that she wants to not to physically give him the prize, which is this metal. It looks like a penny almost, but an oversized penny. But Trump was asked about this yesterday about her wanting to come and give him the prize. His response, I will have to speak to her. I think it's very nice that she wants to come in, and that's what I understand. The reason is because Norway is very embarrassed by what took place. I can't think of anybody in history that should get the Nobel Prize.

Speaker 1: What I love even more though, is what the Nobel Institute felt compelled to put out after hearing this from President Trump. The Norwegian Nobel Committee and the Norwegian Nobel Institute receive a number of requests for comments regarding the permanence of a Nobel Peace Prize laureate status. The facts are clear and well established. Once a Nobel Prize is announced, it cannot be revoked, share or transferred to others. The decision is final and stands for all time.

I am predicting just weight and again, it's a medal. It's almost like a metal Olympic medal, a little larger, but it does. It has Alfred Nobelt's head on it. It's made out of gold.

In the meantime, a judge has reverse course in Luigi Mangioni's federal case and now says there needs to be a hearing to address critical evidence in the case. The same judge, yes on Friday said no hearing on Monday, said you know what, I had the weekend to think about it. I changed my mind. And this is exactly the same hearing that played out in his statecase that lasted for three weeks and we're still waiting on the judges ruling on whether or not this evidence that police or investigators recovered from his backpack should that evidence be allowed in. And we're talking about some pretty significant evidence his gun and the notebook where he basically wrote his manifestos, so his motive and certainly some direct evidence tying him to the crime if those two things weren't allowed in. So this is the federal case where now we're going to have a hearing, and the staatecase we still don't know the judges going to decide on that.

Speaker 2: No other question. I wonder can he still be convicted without that evidence from the bag? There's so much, there's video evidence, there's a surveillance, all that stuff. Yes, I wonder how that's going to play out. Let's continue here on the run now to another court case, civil court this time. But yes, Arizona Democratic Senator Mark Kelly is suing the Pentagon and Defense Secretary Pete Hexath because they are trying to reduce his retirement rank and pay. He's a captain in the Navy. How we retired. But this was all after he appeared in that video along with other Democratic lawmakers urging soldiers to refuse illegal orders that, according to the Trump administration, amounted to sedition and undermine the chain of command. So he has taken them to court civil court, trying to stop them from taking his rank and his pack.

Speaker 1: All right. Next up on the run elon Musk's AI chat bot Grock has been banned in two countries, and this is a first. This is the first time any country has taken this kind of action. We're talking about Indonesia and Malaysia. And I have to say, hmm, I did a little bit of a dive on this, and I feel like we could do an entire episode on what's happening with GROC. I did not know the capabilities of this AI and how alarming and offensive they are to women and children.

Speaker 2: Can put it and you can undress somebody. Yes, this stuff is out there. So the argument is do we need to be cracking down on the people who do it and then post it, or do we need to crack down on the technology itself.

Speaker 1: But if the technology allows it, first, I guess anyone can access it for free a few times, and then you have to have be an eight month monthly subscriber to have access to it. But the fact that eight dollars a month, yes, to put it in spicy mode. But you literally can put in a command upload a photo, take off her clothes. It will take off her clothes, full frontal nudity, and then you can easily post it online. That is so frightening and it's out there.

Paramount sky Dance has filed suit and is threatening a proxy fight over the future of the Warner Brothers Discovery Group. Now here's a reminder for you if you forgot. Netflix already has a deal in place to acquire HBO, Max and the Warner Brothers Film Studio, but Paramount Skydance wants in.

And that is what Paramount is trying to do because the WWBD, the Warner Brothers Discovery Board, has repeatedly rejected Paramount's offers. They keep upping the anti and they keep getting rejected. So Paramount has now filed this suit, there won't. What they say roll is they want information about the deal, so they're not necessarily stopping it yet they are maybe this is a tactic, but they say they want information about the Warner Brothers Discovery and Netflix deal that maybe Warner Brothers isn't getting all the information that they need, so they're trying to help Netflix out once you shareholders or.

This is the largest single donation ever to this organization that has suffered greatly in this anti DEI movement. Grants, federal subsidies, all the things that a lot of these organizations rely heavily on have literally dried up.

It seems like every time she makes one to an organization or a school, they come out and say, this is the largest single donation we've ever gotten. She has done it again and again. I swear we've heard this word before. But the CEO of the Trevor Project said this was a transformational donation. It's going to change things for them.

Somebody taught me this long time ago, do not try to set up your own foundation, right, you got a passion, you want a foundation. So it seems like that's what she's doing. Knock yourselves out. She's given twenty six billion dollars in donation since twenty nineteen. That money from that company with this woman divorcing that guy has changed people's worlds.
