If you are in what the eastern portion, certainly the northeastern portion of the country, you are freaking freezing. We got some nasty, nasty weathers. We had some severe drops. They told us about the polar vortext is what they call of it. But yes, we are all the experience of some pretty tough temperatures. In some places in the Northeast could get as much as ten inches of snow. So wherever you may be, folks, hope you are staying as warm as you can. As all this is happening as always. Also on the run with this this morning, we're gonna have three quarterbacks in a running back that are gonna be running with us. We'll explain that a little later. But also in the headlines today, a major quake in Japan. Farmers getting twelve bills in a man serve, thirty three drinks on a cruise ship. Another Florida execution tonight, Not so fast on that Netflix Warner Brothers deal, New York's murder Less streak ends. And then Walsh and Mangioni back in court this morning. Two major cases going on with the first leg of our run. Just an interesting nugget to pass along here. From suspension to extension all that, Yes, folks, after all that with Jimmy Kemmel, who the President has said repeatedly that he wants off the air, is getting at least another full year on the air as the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live. This was an interesting tidbit after all this, he got extended.

Speaker 1: Yes, everyone loves the headline from suspension to extension, so it has a little ring to it. Some folks did note, though, up until this year, any extension he got or any new contract he signed was a three year deal. So this is a notably shorter version of his next contract. And it should be noted he has said, repeat, I think for the last three contracts he's had that this was going to be his last. This was going to be his last, So he has talked about winding things down, about going on and moving on to something else, but he said it's always upset his staff when he's projected that. So, look, one year is better than what we've seen, given the late night landscape and what happened and what has happened to Colbert. So this is something to celebrate, I'm sure for Kimmel fans and for Kimmel himself. So congratulations to Jimmy Kimmel for getting through another year in this world.

Speaker 1: The next leg of our run takes us to Japan, where they are getting a handle on the extent of damage. A major earthquake struck Japan in the overnight hours.

Speaker 3: Yeah major here is at seven point five magnitude. They say this thing was fifty miles off the coast, northeastern coast of the country, but it was enough. Certainly, a powerful earthquake like that that close to the coast certainly did trigger a number of tsunami warnings. They were later canceled. No tsunamis necessarily hit or cause damage. At least thirty people, though, were reported injured from all of the shaking around. And this just sounds scary. We hear about this. Oftentimes ropes after a major earthquake, they put everybody on notice that there could be some significant aftershocks. So they certainly did that, but they call it a megaquake advisory in Japan right now. They told them to be on a high alert really for the next week for a possible eight magnitude plus quake.

Speaker 3: You just have to be vigilant, be prepared, be ready. But they're telling them just be on notice for the next week because the chances of a bigger one have increased slightly, but they have gone.

Speaker 1: Well, next up on the run, President Trump has said he wants to help farmers now after his trade policies hurt them. The White House announced a twelve billion dollar aid bailout package to give some of that relief, mainly to soybean and to corn farmers, who took a big hit during this year's trade war.

Speaker 3: Yeah, big hit because one of the biggest markets, China, just stopped buying our stuff because of the trade war, so that hurt them and that was during those fairly significant harvest seasons for them as well. But yes, now going to get this bailout. A lot of them will get these one time payments and they're gonna come out pretty soon. Most of them, they say, we'll be getting them by the end of next February. Continuing on the run, now on this Tuesday morning, a not so fast on that Netflix deal to acquire Warner Brothers, the big deal that you heard so much about, the deal that was worth estimated eighty three billion dollars. It was just announced on Friday. But another suitor is not taking no for an answer.

Speaker 1: Yes, Paramount sky Dance has launched a hostile takeover bid. That sounds so intense, but basically, Paramount Skuydance is appealing directly to shareholders and saying, hey, guess what our offer is better than the Netflix offer and you need to rethink this and you need to take this deal.

Speaker 3: It sounds terrible, hostile takeover, it sounds it sounds very heavy, but essentially what they're saying is the management of Warner Brothers doesn't want us to buy your company. So I'm going to appeal to you, the shareholders, and let you all try to decide instead of the management decide. So that's what hostile means. But this fight is going even the presidents said, well two nights ago, he even said that it might be too much market share for Netflix with the deal. So I don't know, is it going to happen. Some people say, yeah, this is just part of it and it'll go through. But man, some questions.

Speaker 1: Next up on the Run, it sure sounds like Trump is threatening CBS again and hmm, what program is he targeting? Sixty Minutes again? He went on a social media tirade again, and last night he seems to be very upset over the interview sixty Minutes aired with Marjorie Taylor Green on Sunday. Also seems to not be a fan of a very seasoned journalist there at sixty minutes.

Speaker 3: Yeah, they have fallen out. We're not going to give as we've come to practice here, We're not going to try to interpret necessarily what he said. We will read to you exactly what his words were, and you be the judge of what you hear. But he wrote this long social media post on true social saying, quote the only reason Marjorie traitor Brown, Green turns Brown under stress again. These are his words. The only reason Marjorie Taylor Brown went bad is that she was jilted by the President of the United States. Certainly not the first time. She has been jilted. Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are now really bad. She sort of reminds me of a rotten apple. Marjorie is not America First or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person. That was proven last night when washed up Trump hating sixty Minutes correspondent Leslie Stall, who's it owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show with serious conviction that Hunter Biden's Laptop from Hell was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself. Totally proven wrong interview a very poorly prepared trader who in her confusion, made many really stupid statements in code and this is just word for word from your president.

Speaker 1: And he continues. My real problem with the show, however, wasn't the low iq trader. It was that the new ownership of sixty Minutes Paramount would allow a show like this to air they are no better than the old ownership that was in all caps, who just paid me millions of dollars for fake reporting about your favorite president, me in all caps, since they bought it, sixty minutes has actually gotten worse. Oh well, far worse things can happen. Ps I hereby demand a complete and total apology, though far too late to be meaningful, from Leslie stall and sixty minutes for her incorrect and libelous statements about Hunter's laptop boom.

When he's reminding CBS, if he's saying to CBS the folks he hated before this new management that you're worse, what's he going to do? And telling you I'm demanding an apology. Yes, this is what our president was up tweeting last night. Well, continuing on the run here, now we go back to a courtroom. Luigi man Gioni posed for a picture in court yesterday. Now Robes, this is the of course, the accused United Healthcare CEO shooter. We've seen all different images of him. This is the first one.

Speaker 3: We've seen some from the court during these hearings that he looks more relaxed, he looks more comfortable. We've seen smiles. But I don't know what to make of this picture to where he had his fist up like rallying power to the people, looking directly at camera posing. What did you make of it?

Speaker 1: It came off as someone who is not repentant, someone who thinks he did the right thing, and actually is almost signaling to unfortunately his many fans out there who agree with him, almost like you know, power to the people, We're gonna fight.

Speaker 1: I really do think he fused himself as a martyr of sorts, that he's done this for everyone else, and he's bringing attention to a serious problem in this country. And I think he's justifying everything he's done with that look and that pose straight to the camera.

Speaker 3: He's judicious right where we're getting to a point where people think these killing people you disagree with or you think are doing harm to the mass, is in some way a healthcare ceo, a politician, like it's okay, this is the way to go about it. His picture really unnerved me seeing that. As awful as some of the we've seen new video of him with the killing, this was awful, brutal walking up behind someone and firing on them, walking up to them and trying to.

Speaker 2: That was a tough picture. Yes, see, you know what I got from that. He feels supported, Yes, and he is.

Speaker 3: We have seen it. We have seen it again to all that. But yes, that picture is certainly making the rounds. But this is a very serious hearing that's going in. This could really shape his trial and any possible conviction in jail time because they're trying robes and they have been for the past week with these hearings to get thrown out. The most important evidence maybe that they have.

Speaker 1: That's right, the contents of the backpack that he was carrying when he was arrested and the statements that he made following his arrest. So look, this was the first time a lot of us saw some of the evidence up close there, the handgun, the silencer, the magazine that was wrapped in underwear, and then the surveillance video that you were just mentioning.

Speaker 1: His attorneys are trying to argue, was he read his rights before he started speaking and did they have a warrant to search him and to search his backpack. Manngioni, by the way, has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and so this will be a key key. These hearings are absolutely paramounts, yes to what we see in his actual trial.

Speaker 3: We know his legal team is good. We know his legal team is very very good. Continuing on the run here now, Testimony in another courtroom today is going to resume in the trial of Brian Walsh, the Massachusetts man who admits to dismembering and disposing of his wife's body but says he didn't kill her. That testimony continued yesterday. We saw a lot more evidence, blood stained clothes, the hatchet, and some of the tools he used. We also saw him buying the stuff from Low's and CBS. I guess we called it robe a body dumping kit. If you will that we saw him buying a lot of these videos. But that testimony we'll continue to this morning at nine o'clock.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like Manngioni. It's you can read it, you can hear about it, you can even see images. But to actually see the person accused in those surveillance videos take you know, to see Brian Walsh take those black garbage bags and dump them in a dumpster and we now know what was likely inside of those bags. And just to see him at one point even bringing a child with him to pick up some items to get rid of his wife's dead body. It is chilling, to say the least. But yes, testimony resumes at nine am this morning and will last throughout the day today. But next up on the Run. The family of a man who died aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship has now sued the company, claiming he was overserved alcohol on the ship to the tune of thirty three drinks. Talking about thirty five year old Michael Virgil. He died on December thirteenth of last year on that cruise ship.

Speaker 3: According to this lawsuit, he was served, according to his family, thirty three drinks in a matter of hours. He was drunk and tried to find his room, got lost, became agitated. Security was called in and according to the lawsuit, they tackled and restrained him, gave him a sedative, and used several cans of pepper spray on him. He died, they say in the care of employees of Royal Caribbean. Moral Caribbean has said, of course, in a statement that they are not going to comment on the lawsuit, but certainly their heart goes out to this family.

Unfortunately, that streak ended on Sunday, when a thirty eight year old man was shot and killed in the Bronx. But another silver lining when you talk about crime in New York City, we had the lowest level for murders in city history this past month in November, and you know what, we will take it and hopefully we can improve on that even more.

Speaker 3: I'm continuing on the run here now we'll head down to Florida. That state is set to extend its record death penalty and execution streak tonight when they execute Mark Allen. Jerald's fifty eight year old man scheduled to die at six o'clock by lethal injection. He's been on death row since about nineteen eighty nine, when he was convicted for the murder that year of Tresa Lynn Pettybone, a thirty three year old stay at home.

Speaker 1: Yes, this was a home invasion that turned into a murder. Apparently, according to police, Mark Geralds tied her up, beat her, tortured her, stabbed her. He was trying to find seven thousand dollars he believed that she had. He was a former contractor and actually it was pretty disgusting. Went up to the kids to find out how long their dad was going to be gone. He saw them in an arcade at Amall and really planned this thing out, but it was horrific because her own eight year old son is the person who found her body after when he came home from school.

They at times do not necessarily strictly enforce it, but this time around they decided too. Yes, a lot of women were not wearing the hujabs, a lot of women were wearing headbands that covered part of their hair, but they still had the ponytails of the braids sticking out the back. So of course people were running marathon. It's twenty six point two miles for this. What's everybody doing on social media? They're posting all these pictures and videos got out and the government didn't appreciate that. So they've arrested these two. Don't know exactly what punishment they could be facing. But this was five thousand people who competed in this thing over the weekend. It was on Friday.

But I was in such a good place and I was able to bear it. And I appreciate this quote because of that.

Speaker 1: The next leg of our run takes us to Japan, where they are getting a handle on the extent of damage. A major earthquake struck Japan in the overnight hours.

Speaker 3: Yeah major here is at seven point five magnitude. They say this thing was fifty miles off the coast, northeastern coast of the country, but it was enough. Certainly, a powerful earthquake like that that close to the coast certainly did trigger a number of tsunami warnings. They were later canceled. No tsunamis necessarily hit or cause damage. At least thirty people, though, were reported injured from all of the shaking around. And this just sounds scary. We hear about this. Oftentimes ropes after a major earthquake, they put everybody on notice that there could be some significant aftershocks. So they certainly did that, but they call it a megaquake advisory in Japan right now. They told them to be on a high alert really for the next week for a possible eight magnitude plus quake.

Speaker 1: Well, next up on the run, President Trump has said he wants to help farmers now after his trade policies hurt them. The White House announced a twelve billion dollar aid bailout package to give some of that relief, mainly to soybean and to corn farmers, who took a big hit during this year's trade war.

Speaker 3: Yeah, big hit because one of the biggest markets, China, just stopped buying our stuff because of the trade war, so that hurt them and that was during those fairly significant harvest seasons for them as well. But yes, now going to get this bailout. A lot of them will get these one time payments and they're gonna come out pretty soon. Most of them, they say, we'll be getting them by the end of next February. Continuing on the run, now on this Tuesday morning, a not so fast on that Netflix deal to acquire Warner Brothers, the big deal that you heard so much about, the deal that was worth estimated eighty three billion dollars. It was just announced on Friday. But another suitor is not taking no for an answer.

Speaker 1: Yes, Paramount sky Dance has launched a hostile takeover bid. That sounds so intense, but basically, Paramount Skuydance is appealing directly to shareholders and saying, hey, guess what our offer is better than the Netflix offer and you need to rethink this and you need to take this deal.

Speaker 3: It sounds terrible, hostile takeover, it sounds it sounds very heavy, but essentially what they're saying is the management of Warner Brothers doesn't want us to buy your company. So I'm going to appeal to you, the shareholders, and let you all try to decide instead of the management decide. So that's what hostile means. But this fight is going even the presidents said, well two nights ago, he even said that it might be too much market share for Netflix with the deal. So I don't know, is it going to happen. Some people say, yeah, this is just part of it and it'll go through. But man, some questions.

He went on a social media tirade again, and last night he seems to be very upset over the interview sixty Minutes aired with Marjorie Taylor Green on Sunday. Also seems to not be a fan of a very seasoned journalist there at sixty minutes.

Speaker 3: Yeah, they have fallen out. We're not going to give as we've come to practice here, We're not going to try to interpret necessarily what he said. We will read to you exactly what his words were, and you be the judge of what you hear. But he wrote this long social media post on true social saying, quote the only reason Marjorie traitor Brown, Green turns Brown under stress again. These are his words. The only reason Marjorie Taylor Brown went bad is that she was jilted by the President of the United States. Certainly not the first time. She has been jilted. Too much work, not enough time, and her ideas are now really bad. She sort of reminds me of a rotten apple. Marjorie is not America First or MAGA, because nobody could have changed her views so fast, and her new views are those of a very dumb person. That was proven last night when washed up Trump hating sixty Minutes correspondent Leslie Stall, who's it owes me an apology from when she attacked me on the show with serious conviction that Hunter Biden's Laptop from Hell was produced by Russia, not Hunter himself. Totally proven wrong interview a very poorly prepared trader who in her confusion, made many really stupid statements in code and this is just word for word from your president.

It was that the new ownership of sixty Minutes Paramount would allow a show like this to air they are no better than the old ownership that was in all caps, who just paid me millions of dollars for fake reporting about your favorite president, me in all caps, since they bought it, sixty minutes has actually gotten worse. Oh well, far worse things can happen. Ps I hereby demand a complete and total apology, though far too late to be meaningful, from Leslie stall and sixty minutes for her incorrect and libelous statements about Hunter's laptop boom.

As awful as some of the we've seen new video of him with the killing, this was awful, brutal walking up behind someone and firing on them, walking up to them and trying to.

This could really shape his trial and any possible conviction in jail time because they're trying robes and they have been for the past week with these hearings to get thrown out. Continuing on the run here now, Testimony in another courtroom today is going to resume in the trial of Brian Walsh, the Massachusetts man who admits to dismembering and disposing of his wife's body but says he didn't kill her. That testimony continued yesterday. We saw a lot more evidence, blood stained clothes, the hatchet, and some of the tools he used. We also saw him buying the stuff from Low's and CBS. I guess we called it robe a body dumping kit. If you will that we saw him buying a lot of these videos. But that testimony we'll continue to this morning at nine o'clock.

But to actually see the person accused in those surveillance videos take you know, to see Brian Walsh take those black garbage bags and dump them in a dumpster and we now know what was likely inside of those bags. And just to see him at one point even bringing a child with him to pick up some items to get rid of his wife's dead body. It is chilling, to say the least. But yes, testimony resumes at nine am this morning and will last throughout the day today. But next up on the Run. The family of a man who died aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise ship has now sued the company, claiming he was overserved alcohol on the ship to the tune of thirty three drinks. Talking about thirty five year old Michael Virgil. He died on December thirteenth of last year on that cruise ship.

Speaker 3: According to this lawsuit, he was served, according to his family, thirty three drinks in a matter of hours. He was drunk and tried to find his room, got lost, became agitated. Security was called in and according to the lawsuit, they tackled and restrained him, gave him a sedative, and used several cans of pepper spray on him. He died, they say in the care of employees of Royal Caribbean. Moral Caribbean has said, of course, in a statement that they are not going to comment on the lawsuit, but certainly their heart goes out to this family.

Unfortunately, that streak ended on Sunday, when a thirty eight year old man was shot and killed in the Bronx. But another silver lining when you talk about crime in New York City, we had the lowest level for murders in city history this past month in November, and you know what, we will take it and hopefully we can improve on that even more.

Speaker 3: I'm continuing on the run here now we'll head down to Florida. That state is set to extend its record death penalty and execution streak tonight when they execute Mark Allen. Jerald's fifty eight year old man scheduled to die at six o'clock by lethal injection. He's been on death row since about nineteen eighty nine, when he was convicted for the murder that year of Tresa Lynn Pettybone, a thirty three year old stay at home.

Speaker 1: Yes, this was a home invasion that turned into a murder. Apparently, according to police, Mark Geralds tied her up, beat her, tortured her, stabbed her. He was trying to find seven thousand dollars he believed that she had. He was a former contractor and actually it was pretty disgusting. Went up to the kids to find out how long their dad was going to be gone. He saw them in an arcade at Amall and really planned this thing out, but it was horrific because her own eight year old son is the person who found her body after when he came home from school.

They at times do not necessarily strictly enforce it, but this time around they decided too. So of course people were running marathon. It's twenty six point two miles for this. What's everybody doing on social media? They're posting all these pictures and videos got out and the government didn't appreciate that. So they've arrested these two. Don't know exactly what punishment they could be facing. But this was five thousand people who competed in this thing over the weekend. It was on Friday.
