We're going to be making stops obviously in the Caribbean on the run today, but we'll also make stops in Texas and Florida and Utah, in the Great State of Washington, and in DC. Speaker 2: President Drum signed the bill to reopen the government shortly after the House passed it. Now, the Senate had previously done this, but we really are in the same place we were because this package does not include any funding for immigration enforcements, so no money for ICE. They kicked that can down the road to try to deal with later. But Robes, this deal that they made was a deal that was on the table two months ago.

Speaker 1: At least at least DHS employees were being paid for the remainder of this shutdown, at least that was in place. But this is just silly. It's just silly. Speaker 2: Today is the sixty day deadline for President Trump to get congressional approval for the war in Iran. The War Powers Act requires a president to end the conflict and bring troops home, or he has to seek approval from Congress to continue, and today is the deadline he has to do one of those two things.

Speaker 1: However, there's an argument about when or how we should have been counting those sixty days, because the administration has signaled that it believes the clock stopped on that sixty days because of the ceasefire. So plenty of lawmakers disagree with that. So now there's going to be even disagreement about when the clock is ticking, when the clock is stopped or if it is just sixty days period.

We keep talking about our good friends out there in California who continue to struggle. They are having the highest gas prices in the country six dollars and six cents right now, six dollars and six cents.

Speaker 1: Five students, including the suspect and a security guard were injured in a mass stabbing at a high school in Tacoma, Washington.

Speaker 2: Four students hospitalized with stab wounds. Also, a security guard had stab wounds, and the suspect also was injured. Everybody is listed in stable condition at this point. Police took the suspect into custody, now charged with five counts of first degree assault.

Speaker 1: Now police have not released the suspect's name, assuming that this suspect must be underage because that person was a student at the school. But right now it's unclear what prompted the stabbing. They're just calling it that it began as an altercation and then went from there.

Speaker 1: There were actually back to back executions in the United States last night. One was in Texas, the other in Florida. So we'll start in Texas, where James Broadnax was executed for a two thousand and nine double murder. But another man came forward in recent weeks saying he was the one who committed the murder, not broad Nacks.

But the cousin is the one who's come forward said he was the one that pulled the trigger, not broad Nacks, who, of course was executed. Now last night, final words, he was asked Broadnax last night he'd made this statement. I prayed to God for your forgiveness despite what you think about me. I hope to God that prayer was answered. But no matter what you think about me, Texas got it wrong. I'm innocent.

Robes has only been getting eight hours a week of supervised time with our two year old son. That is going to continue. The judge didn't make a ruling on that yet, but they do have another court date in May, but he said he wants to rule on this house soon May eleventh.

If you just google four day work week, there is legislation in Australia right now. There are some unions in California who are trying to mandate a thirty five hour work week with the same pay, same benefits. Why because they say it increases work for productivity. If you have more time to relax, you have more time to yourself to get all the things you need to get done. When you're actually at work, you work versus when we're at work, we'up. Sometimes we're paying bills, we're sending personal emails, we're managing childcare whatever. If you have that extra day to get all that done, then when you're actually at work, you actually are a more productive employee.
