Speaker 1: But Congress ain't even at work. The Senate adjourned yesterday went home for the weekend without reaching a deal to end this shutdown. In Robes, I didn't think it was possible when it started, but not only possible, it now seems likely this shutdown is going to stretch into next week and become the longest shutdown in US history. We're at thirty one days now, will be there's thirty four on Monday, than Tuesday's thirty five, and that's the longest shutdown we've ever had election day history. There is an emerging thought that once the dust settles as a few it's an off year election. But when that dust settles, people will feel more confident in making decisions in DC that are not going to affect elections.

Speaker 1: This would be bad because they know when the other side gets in power, they'll start doing this and do whatever they want. That's why they don't try to touch this. But hmm, the longer this goes, that might sound like a good option to a lot of Americans. Do what you gotta do to get me paid and to get benefits flowing again. Well, a judge Rose might step into this whole mess. A federal judge says she will likely order the Trump administration to use reserves to partially fund SNAP benefits that are going to run out by the end of the day today for forty two million Americans. Twenty five states run by Democrats have sued already the Trump administration over its decision not to tap into a contingency fund to pay for SNAP during the government shutdown.

Speaker 2: The judge put it like this, She said, Congress has put money in an emergency fund, and it is hard for me to understand how this is not an emergency. In the last federal shutdown during Trump's first term, officials told states they could use those can tingency funds to cover SNAP payments. One issue here, though, that emergency fund everyone's talking about it only has five point five billion dollars in it. The SNAP program costs the federal government nine billion dollars a month. Can you believe that? So there won't be enough funds. There will only be for a little bit more than half of the month. So the judge may still order it and say, hey, it's better to partially pay than to completely end benefits period.

Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternate private accommodations. It goes on to say this, these censers are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him. He is essentially losing a title that he got as soon as he was born to his mother, the Queen, and that's gone now. So the former Prince Andrew has been dodging, I shouldn't say dodging, trying to dodge, but he's been dogged by years of allegations regarding his association with Jeffrey Epstein. One of the victims, Virginia Geufrey, her book was just released, was that last week. Yes, it contained a bunch of more allegations, but she has stood by the fact she has said she was sexually assaulted by this man when she was a child, a teenager. So the family of Virginia Giufree did react and we want to make sure we get this in they said. Quote today, an ordinary American girl from an ordinary American family brought down a British prince with her truth and extraordinary courage. Our sister, a child when she was sexually assaulted by Andrew, never stopped fighting for accountability for what had happened to her and to countless other survivors like her. And that line they at it, that last one I thought was a big deal. And to think she never got to see this moment. Yes they want criminal charges, but short of that, can it be anything greater than him? Loose? He got kicked out of the royal family. Yeah, and his title prints.

You said, they're a loss to the public, to our community, and we're hoping our community can help us bring them home.
