Speaker 2: It was a golden night on the ice last night with the US women's hockey team winning in such a thrilling fashion, we thought they were out of that and then, of course what everybody was talking about, a Lista Lou yesterday. It was a night for the ladies. It was a tear field afternoon, yes, watching the Olympics.

Speaker 1: Girl power all around, and you know what, Yes, Alyssa Lou was remarkable to watch. We actually recorded an entire episode about our excitement and enthusiasm and lessons that we learned watching this young woman's skate. And then yes, the women's hockey team killing it like they've been doing it for We're actually getting kind of expectations now when it comes to these women, because they have been delivering Winter Olympic after Winter Olympic.

Speaker 2: But we have an expectation of Canada VERSUS USA when they play women's hockey and they delivered. What a match. If you were this was incredible. They were out of it for the most part, two minutes left, a score goal, tied up, get into overtime and win the sucker and sudden down. It is the best you can get with the stakes that were there. That was maybe one of the I can't remember a better hockey game I've ever seen in my life. That was great.

Speaker 1: The only other one that I've seen that was better was the United States versus Canada in pyeong Chang when they won in double overtime. That was But yes, they deliver every time. They are exciting and fun to watch. And I also just want to give a nod to Amber Glenn because that young lady, after what she went through with her earlier skate, falling twice knocking herself out of gold contention or metal contention, gave one of the best skates of her life. I was bawling watching her come back and do her own personal best and actually make it to number five, which was higher than anyone thought she could do.

Speaker 2: And so we sit now the United States, I should say, at number two. The official medal count. Norway remains at the top with sixteen gold medals, thirty four overall. The US, now in second place, has jumped over Italy now for second with nine gold medals and twenty seven overall. Italy has nine gold medals but twenty six overall, and then France and Netherlands moved up into the top five. That continues, and of course a big night tonight robes US Slovakia men's hockey. This is a semi final. I hope they get some inspiration.

But he was released, and they made a point to say, but remains under investigation. His homes have been searched. We saw that happening all day yesterday. I believe he returned back to Sandringham, which is actually the King's property because he was kicked out of the royal residences earlier, just after he was stripped of his royal titles. So there is much more to come on that part of the story. But next up on the run, the estate of Jeffrey Epstein has agreed to pay as much as thirty five million dollars to settle another class action lawsuit. This lawsuit accused actually two of Epstein's advisors, his former personal lawyer and his accountant, of aiding and a betting Epstein's sex trafficking of young women.

But he has continued his acting through his ALS diagnosis, and he'll be on the upcoming season, so we'll be more to see of Eric Dame. But again, he passed away at the age of fifty three yesterday.

We are now, folks, this is Friday. Tomorrow will be three weeks since anyone has the last known to have seen Nancy Guthrie, the eighty four year old mother of today's show host Savannah Guthrie. Police still saying no suspects, no persons of interest. Their work continues. They did get DNA that they analyzed, but it did not match any criminal in the database. So they got DNA that they don't know who it belongs to. And now they're going through with genealogy consumer genealogy sites and companies to try to possibly track down who this DNA belongs to.

Speaker 1: All right, Meanwhile, President Trump was asked specifically about the Guthrie case while he was a bard Air Force one and the question was, what do you think happened to Savannah Guthrie's mom. Trump's response was, it's so crazy, it's so bad, and then he said, we have to start reporting on other subjects and see what happens. It's a very sad situation. But he did take a moment to criticize the reporting on police tactics, specifically that police were using what they called a signals sniffer to try and see if they could find any sort of signal from Nancy Guthrie's pacemaker. He criticized that, saying, why are police revealing their tactics now? The person who has her could just move her or do something bad to her to make the pacemaker her stop emitting a signal. So he was critical of that.

I get why, but a little more context and you should listen to it for yourself and not just take those headlines, not in defensive correct, but just in defense of the contact curate headlines. Yes, all right, continue here on the next leg of our run. Continue with President Trump. He is ordering his administration to release government files related to ET. Now, this seemed to have come out of nowhere, rogue, but the president does want files, government files released about UFOs and alien abductions and whatever. You put this out on truth social and it seemingly came from nowhere, but it came from somewhere.

Speaker 2: We shouldn't be surprised, necessariah. The president is big into branding, putting his names on things and places and buildings and maybe even airport and planes and whatever else. But this has for a lot of people been disturbing. He's been doing this for months now, but these big banners have been put on a number of government buildings in DC. This gets attention, of course, rolled just the Department of Justice, and of course he appoints people there. But there was always seen some kind of a separate reparation, some semblance of independence and working independent from the White House. But this is just for a lot of people, a bad look. But we shouldn't be surprised. They want to put his face on a bill, right currency, they want to put on Mount Rushmore has been talked about. They're talking about renaming an airport down in Florida after him, this stuff, So we shouldn't be surpris Oh yeah, and the Trump can.

The Commission of Fine Arts voted to approve it without further consideration of the thousands of negative public comments that have apparently flooded the commission. Instead, the panel, which is made up of all new members appointed by President Trump himself, fast tracked that final vote, which was wasn't set to happen until their next meeting on March nineteenth. The panel secretary only presented the panel two public comments, one four and one against. The secretary later said we literally have gotten just in the past week or so, more than two thousand various messages. Way too much to go through individually, he said, though the messages were overwhelmingly in opposition over ninety nine percent to this project. We then had the President the Commission on Social Media saying great accolades were paid to the building's beauty and scale. It's gonna be ninety thousand square feet, costs four hundred million bucks, but it's gonna be paid for by private donors.

But now the owner of that dog has been charged with abandonment and resisting arrest. This all happened on February second, and the police just released the video and it has caused quite the star Well.

We are now, folks, this is Friday. Tomorrow will be three weeks since anyone has the last known to have seen Nancy Guthrie, the eighty four year old mother of today's show host Savannah Guthrie. Police still saying no suspects, no persons of interest. Their work continues. They did get DNA that they analyzed, but it did not match any criminal in the database. So they got DNA that they don't know who it belongs to. And now they're going through with genealogy consumer genealogy sites and companies to try to possibly track down who this DNA belongs to.

Speaker 1: All right, Meanwhile, President Trump was asked specifically about the Guthrie case while he was a bard Air Force one and the question was, what do you think happened to Savannah Guthrie's mom. Trump's response was, it's so crazy, it's so bad, and then he said, we have to start reporting on other subjects and see what happens. It's a very sad situation. But he did take a moment to criticize the reporting on police tactics, specifically that police were using what they called a signals sniffer to try and see if they could find any sort of signal from Nancy Guthrie's pacemaker. He criticized that, saying, why are police revealing their tactics now? The person who has her could just move her or do something bad to her to make the pacemaker her stop emitting a signal. So he was critical of that.

I get why, but a little more context and you should listen to it for yourself and not just take those headlines, not in defensive correct, but just in defense of the contact curate headlines. But this has for a lot of people been disturbing. He's been doing this for months now, but these big banners have been put on a number of government buildings in DC. This gets attention, of course, rolled just the Department of Justice, and of course he appoints people there. But there was always seen some kind of a separate reparation, some semblance of independence and working independent from the White House. But this is just for a lot of people, a bad look. But we shouldn't be surprised. They want to put his face on a bill, right currency, they want to put on Mount Rushmore has been talked about. They're talking about renaming an airport down in Florida after him, this stuff, So we shouldn't be surpris Oh yeah, and the Trump can.

But now the owner of that dog has been charged with abandonment and resisting arrest. This all happened on February second, and the police just released the video and it has caused quite the star Well.

You can pay I don't know what it is, one hundred and fifty bucks. You can have the dog that size go with you. Underneath the abandonment, Why are you just gonna leave the dog? So to do this is unthinkable, which is why this story is making the rounds, because people cannot imagine being someone who is a loving dog owner and acting the way this woman acted, just leaving the dog.
