This is going to go through the weekend for much of the country. We're talking hundreds of millions of Americans under watches and warnings and advisories having to do with this cold weather. So you can take that for no, you can. You don't have to interpret. You see clearly what he is saying a suggestion that the military is on the table. But that's something we already knew, but this set off a lot of headlines and a lot of head scratching, and a lot of emergency meetings, quite frankly of European leaders.

We will not be blackmailed into going along with your purchase of Greenland. Period. So they have drawn a line in the sand. But it is making for some potentially extremely awkward moments this week in Switzerland because the President is headed there for the World Economic Forum, and he's expected to come face to face with many of those very same European leaders who he sent texts to and wrote letters to and wrote truth social posts about. He's going to come face to face with them and wow, let's see what happens.

Well, the Department of Justice has now launched a criminal investigation into that Ice protest that everybody was talking about. That's right.

Speaker 1: Dozens of demonstrators, anywhere from thirty to forty demonstrators that look like barged in and interrupted a church service at Cities Church in Saint Paul on Sunday. It was live streamed by former CNN anchor Don Lemon, and you can see in the live stream and in the edited videos that they posted afterwards, protesters barging into this service. They were claiming that one of the pastors of the church works for an Ice field office, but they were shouting things about Ice, shouting things about Renee Good, and completely disrupted the church service. Don Lemon ended up trying to interview the pastor who was at the pulpit at the time, but it all just unraveled. It was a chaotic scene and it was uncomfortable to watch.

Brendan Banfil is on trial facing two counts of murder, accused of killing his wife and another man that he was planning to frame for his wife's murder. Canaro is accused of killing his own brother, his brother's wife, and brutally stabbing to death their two children, who were eight and eleven years old, and then setting his brother's house and his own house on fire to cover the crime. The motive here, according to prosecutors, was all about money. They were supposed to have court on Friday, but it was canceled due to a sick juror, and then of course MLK Junior Day yesterday, So today we will see that trial resume.

Speaker 2: And when more court room. We're keeping an eye on this one. In New Mexico, actor Tim Busfield, he's trying to get out of jail today. He has a detention hearing set. He's been held since turning himself in last week, facing charges that he improperly touched two young boys who worked on a show that he directed. This weather is moving and making its way from central US over to the East coast, several places of all where it's already been blanketed with snow. You go from what the Midwest, the northern plains, the even upstate New York a little bit got some snow, but it's still coming and it's going to continue. The South has been put on notice as well that they could get some below freezing temperatures the plains world. They're saying some places could get anywhere between twenty to thirty five below there, and in New York we will have below zero temperatures. But it's going to feel like it's negative whatever here for several days, So grace your sales.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it was weird to even see the video of Florida with snow. I mean, this is just where we are right now, and a place that's used to getting snow and lake effects snow. I know this well being a michigan Er and hearing my parents tell all their stories these folks are used to lake effects snow, but there was a blinding lake effect snowstorm, like a burst. They described a band that just swept over Ie one ninety six near Grand Rapids, and there was a one hundred car pilot there in Michigan, forty tractor trailers involved. There were some injuries. Nine inches of snow fell in the area, but all at once, and so this was just a the video the pictures are just catastrophic. But unfortunately, yes, they are dealing with that as well, all through the rest of the week and the weekend.

But here's a big part of the problem, Robes, Josh Allen is your reigning NFL MVP. He's not getting younger. He's a stud. And if you're gonna have a chance of getting to the super Bowl, this is the guy that if you can't get up there with this guy, we need to go another direction. So they are they need to maximize Josh Allen?

They cut to her plenty throughout the game, and you see her sitting there and if you don't know she's in a wheelchair, you can't tell she's sitting. She's just sitting down. But every big moment, her son scores this go ahead touchdown and he gets the crap knocked out of him, just huge. She never stands up and never celebrates. Her husband doesn't either, the quarterback's dad, because she has a mess. He refuses to ever stand and celebrate. That is so sweet.

He's been held since turning himself in last week, facing charges that he improperly touched two young boys who worked on a show that he directed. This weather is moving and making its way from central US over to the East coast, several places of all where it's already been blanketed with snow. You go from what the Midwest, the northern plains, the even upstate New York a little bit got some snow, but it's still coming and it's going to continue. The South has been put on notice as well that they could get some below freezing temperatures the plains world. They're saying some places could get anywhere between twenty to thirty five below there, and in New York we will have below zero temperatures. But it's going to feel like it's negative whatever here for several days, So grace your sales.

Speaker 1: Yeah, it was weird to even see the video of Florida with snow. I mean, this is just where we are right now, and a place that's used to getting snow and lake effects snow. I know this well being a michigan Er and hearing my parents tell all their stories these folks are used to lake effects snow, but there was a blinding lake effect snowstorm, like a burst. They described a band that just swept over Ie one ninety six near Grand Rapids, and there was a one hundred car pilot there in Michigan, forty tractor trailers involved. There were some injuries. Nine inches of snow fell in the area, but all at once, and so this was just a the video the pictures are just catastrophic. But unfortunately, yes, they are dealing with that as well, all through the rest of the week and the weekend.

And he certainly was known as the carpet King. He dressed everybody who was somebody. And we're not talking just about Hollywood celebris. We're talking about Jackie Oh, We're talking about Princess Die and yes, all of those celebrity actresses. But he was that staple on the red carpet.

But I was like, oh right, I was remembering all of the unbelievable dresses and designs he's made over the years. But his body will lie in repose tomorrow and Thursday. In Rome, that's a big deal. And his funeral is on Friday. Can you imagine what that is going to be like in Rome?

I mean, Italian fashion is other levels the best, incredible, But he is really a god of that in Italy ninety three. I know people are sad about the passing and whatnot. When I see people live to ninety three and have made this much of an impact, it's almost this is it's hard. Don't get me wrong. I was saying, it's not to be sad that he's gone, but it's just a celebration of life. Yes, of what he's accomplished and he passed. Now, sweet wonderful life and story. This guy was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills with past nine seasons. He went to the playoffs eight times in those nine seasons, and he finished with a twelve and five record this year. But he got fired yesterday. This is a bit of a stunner from the Buffalo Bills. They fired their coach Sean McDermott. He was widely credited with a historic turnaround of that team. But here's the problem, Robes. Not that he never won a super Bowl. He never made it to the super Bowl. They had another heartbreaking exit from the playoffs over the weekend, losing in overtime to the Broncos thirty three to thirty. But he got so close twice. But here's a big part of the problem, Robes, Josh Allen is your reigning NFL MVP. He's not getting younger. He's a stud. And if you're gonna have a chance of getting to the super Bowl, this is the guy that if you can't get up there with this guy, we need to go another direction. So they are they need to maximize Josh Allen?

Speaker 2: They have just been in the dumps and this guy comes in the coach and turns his place around. They won the Heisman Trophan with their quarterback so congratulations twenty seven to twenty one. They beat Miami last night. Hey yeah, Carson Beck had them driving to the Miami quarterback. They were about to maybe get in position to win this thing. Froze an interception with forty four seconds to go. The ball game, you will see Robes Mendoza. His mom, Elsa Mendoza, is the mother of the quarterback who just won the Heisman Trophy. She has ms, and she is in She uses a wheelchair, and so you see her. They cut to her plenty throughout the game, and you see her sitting there and if you don't know she's in a wheelchair, you can't tell she's sitting. She's just sitting down. But every big moment, her son scores this go ahead touchdown and he gets the crap knocked out of him, just huge. She never stands up and never celebrates. Her husband doesn't either, the quarterback's dad, because she has a mess. He refuses to ever stand and celebrate. That is so sweet.

Every single day we get an opportunity to do what we want to do, to live out our dreams. And I think we need to reinspire ourselves often because yeah, you lose that. I've got so much life ahead of me. I can do whatever I want all of a sudden, time is so finite. But that should be the motivator. Get out and start living. It's not too late, It's never too late.
