Speaker 3: You probably did hear by now, But yes, rolled yesterday was a pretty tense day. That started, like we say, with that ominous threat you just reminded me a short time ago. It was just yesterday morning the President threatned to wipe Aroan off the face of the planet.

Speaker 2: That's correct, and then with just an hour and a half to spare before that predicted doomsday or promised doom day. Yes, we get the word that a cease fire has been reached. Yes, Iran and the United States have reportedly agreed to a two week ceasefire.

Speaker 3: Now this was a eight pm deadline, of course. The deadline was over them opening the strait of horror moves, or as the President said, a whole civilization will die tonight. That tonight was last night at eight o'clock Eastern time. That did not happen now roads we have seen several times now the President has moved his deadline threat. This has got to be at least the fourth and maybe more that he has moved the deadline. So it's happened once again. But we're not exactly sure though as we speak as of this recording this morning, Yes, there's a ceasefire. There were a few more missiles flying immediately afterwards. But it seems like all sides have agreed to a ceasefire, but rogue. We're not sure officially when the two week clock.

Speaker 2: Action of some kind, threatening legal action and getting Brendan Carr involved as well, the FCC chairman, who also posted on x claiming that what CNN has done and has reported on is a hoax headline. But CNN is not the only one who's reported on this, The New York Times and PRS, so they are not alone. And if you go pretty much anywhere, especially anywhere with Iranian state television nor news, I believe they also put the statement out. So there's a lot of corroboration. Very interesting on that, but obviously the oil and markets reacted to all of this news as expected, but pretty pretty dramatic differences with announcement of the ceasefire. Correct.

Speaker 3: Well, yes, the oil prices drop. We keep talking about this. You can tell how things are going because one of these two things, the oil price, is stock prices. One goes one way, one goes the other. And this time, oil prices dropped some fifteen plus percent as of this recording, and stock prices jumped. Dow futures jumped a thousand points immediately after, so expecting a big day today right now. Gas prices did go up again yesterday four dollars and fourteen cents. We don't know when all that's necessarily going to stabilize and start going back down, but at least this process is underway in terms of investors as hope at least that the fighting is not just a two week ceasefire. But this could be over.

I actually forgot about it after the last couple of days.

Speaker 3: Well, DHS employees have not forgotten about it, because yes, as we've been talking about TSA and they started getting their paychecks DHS. There are several other employees having to do with FEMA, the Coast Guard, other agencies that have not been getting paid. But yes, according to the DHS secretary, the new one, Mark Wayne Mullen, he said that all DHS employees will start getting paid by the end of the week, by Friday, they do anticipate. If not Friday, maybe your bank weights till Monday. But the checks are coming. It's going to make up for all the back pay that they need. This one's made possible by another Trump executive order that he signed. He has of course signed another one that got TSA workers paid all right.

We were monitoring Trump's truth social yesterday and CNN and other news how less, while we also had the jury, or at least we had the closing arguments of the case of that Hawaii doctor who's accused of trying to kill his wife by pushing her off a steep cliff during a sene Kai on her birthday. So after listening to those closing arguments, yes, the jury now is officially deliberating in this case. We're talking about doctor Gerhart Koenik, and this was.

Speaker 3: Last March, so this incident was just about a year ago on his wife's birthday. And again, this trial is happening because she survived, she fought back. He is claiming self defense, says she attacked him first and he was able to get away. When you see the pictures, it's well, it's hard to believe self defense when he is bloodied to the point of being unrecognizable, with the blood running down her face.

Speaker 2: And he had a little Bruce and his own son testified against him. So he has a lot to overcome. But we shall see what the jury has to say. Of course, we'll keep our eye on that developing story, but also up on the run, we've been keeping our eye on this constantly developing story. Taylor Frankie Paul, the would be Bachelorette, squared off in court yesterday against her on again, off again boyfriend Dakota Mortenson, who is also the father to her two year old son.

Speaker 3: Was in course, she was asking a judge to lift a custody order that barred her from seeing her child. That is the thing that's been in place since the video came out of that twenty twenty three assault, the video that led to her ultimately being pulled as being the bachelorette and the show getting canceled. Now that's been a place she hasn't been to see her kid, Robes in the past several weeks since this all went down. So she was asking to have that order lifted and go back to having the custody rights that she had before and free and fully be able to hang out with her son. And she didn't get that. She got some visitation rolls, but she didn't get what she wanted.

This will be in place for three weeks. They have their next court hearing schedule for April thirtieth, and so we shall see what comes out of that.

They say they have photos and text messages to prove this point. So, yeah, the legal battles between these two are just beginning.

Some of them say, Robes, you have to designate in your reservation twenty four hours before the flight that you are checking a bag, or you're gonna get a even bigger surprise when you get to the airport. So just want to give that caveat and the heads up there. But the fees are going out Roa's a lot of them saying they're increasing the fees, but not saying where they're going to.

He is claiming self defense, says she attacked him first and he was able to get away. So she was asking to have that order lifted and go back to having the custody rights that she had before and free and fully be able to hang out with her son. And she didn't get that. She got some visitation rolls, but she didn't get what she wanted.
