There's a lot of pressure on New Year's Eve is not where's the right party? And you feel lame if you're not in the middle of it. You feel obligated to party. Now you're a New Year's Eve person, you like New Years Eer parties?

Speaker 1: Yeah, I like parties in general, but I am a big believer in celebrating milestone. So this is an awesome opportunity to celebrate what was, say goodbye to what we didn't like, and say hello to a new start.

Speaker 3: And a lot of people want to do that on their own. Here is a stat for you. Recent survey. One in four Americans would rather go to the dentist than to a New Year's Eve party.

Speaker 1: I wasn't stuck in these they actually it's so organized, it's remarkable and impressive. But everyone starts gathering in mid afternoon and you stand there for hours and hours and hours, but you're with a million of your fellow revelers and crazy day. It's going to be cold and blustery. Thirty four is the high, but it's going to feel colder than that throughout the entire day because we've got these wicked winds that have been whipping here. So the real feels by midnight going to drop down to thirty, but it'll feel like twenties or even the teens.

Speaker 1: We're getting snow flurries throughout the day, and when the ball drops, they actually think we can have some bursts of snow showers. Now we're talking about a dusting. It's not like we're getting inches and inches of snow. But they're saying the snow will add to the confetti and it will be festive and fun.

Speaker 1: This will be the coldest ball drop since twenty seventeen, though, so this is going to be a chilly night. Back then it was nine degrees, so this is a little warmer. But honestly, when you have real feels in the teens, it doesn't really matter. It's just damn cold outside. But it's fun and you're a part of how long.

Speaker 3: Yeah, and some of y'all can just stay home watch it on your screens like the majority of Americans apparently going to do. But hey, Dinah Ross, I didn't realize She's a part of the New Year's Rock and Eve. Look, there are a lot of celebrations in different places that are on the air, but the New Year's Rock and Eve is probably the main one for a lot of people. Dina Ross performing fifty cent Chance, the rapper Ajar, Bust of Rhymes, Demi Levado, chopl Rone will be there and others, So that's something you can look forward to. Also a big thing today you got one college football at Ohio State in Miami, so that's just another This is a part of the day and people will have that stuff on. So in New Year's Eve, it's always fun. We are having a party. I guess we're being shouldn't they forced, But I think I don't know if we'd be having one if we didn't have the kids all around. Got one home from college and all her college buddies and high school buddies. Everybody's back, so we are. We are throwing a little bash, and I don't know if we would have otherwise.

Speaker 3: All we love her crew, so this will be fun. But folks with on this morning run, yes, we are giving you a morning run. Just a few headlines we want to pluck out, some of them actually horrible headlines, but just a few things we wanted to get you caught up on as you go about the rest of your New Year's even robes. We have to start with the one with the update out of Texas, the search for that Texas teenage you've been missing since she walked away from home on Christmas Eve.

Speaker 1: We're talking about nineteen year old Camilla mean Doza. Almost you've seen her face everywhere. I'm sure this just adorable nineteen year old girl. They did find a body, and they found it in a field just one hundred yards from her home. We know there was a firearm near the body, and we also know that the Sheriff's department said that there was a firearm missing from the family home. They haven't officially identified her body yet. There is no official cause of death, but they say no foul play is suspected and the body was in very similar clothing as to the clothing they believe that Camilla was wearing when she walked away from her family's home on Christmas Eve, and.

Speaker 3: A lot of people have that thought. One hundred yards away, she was so close. They said this field had been checked previous, but apparently has a lot of high grass, high brushia it was worth checking again and that's where she was discovered. We continue here. Next leg of our run takes us back to Washington, d C. Well, this thing continues. We have more and more cancelations robes from the Kennedy Center. More musicians are stepping up, putting their names to it and saying we're not going to perform either. Now we know that the New Year's even Christmas Eve performers had canceled. It's the White House is threatening to sue at least the Christmas Eve cancelation guy for a million dollars for canceling that. But by some of the numbers robes and they're all over the place. As few as seven but up to as many as eleven acts have canceled and robes. I can't imagine this is going to stop anytime. It might be more and more polling.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think maybe there is safety in numbers here, because yes, you've got the Christmas Eve jazz musician being sued for a million dollars. But if you think about it, if every other artist stands by kind of what happened to him, it might be they might think it might be too cumbersome to sue each one of these artists. But you know what, you know what, I wouldn't be surprised if that still happened.

Was he the first president not to ever attend any Kennedy's center. So he hit a couple of first in his first term. Second term, he went all in and decided to actually host them. Worst ratings ever.

And that might seem odd to be playing that at this time of day, but it was an Isaiah Whitlock Junior special. We are just so happens. The scene of him on the roof of his place is on right now, one of the funniest moments. But yes, Isaiah Whitlock Junior name and a face, a lot of people have known for decades in his career, having some very memorable moments in his career. Has passed away at the age of seventy one, and I guess Robes he would be most and best known for his role in The Wire, playing Clay Davis. He was apparently a pretty corrupt center or a politician. I believe it was, but I didn't. I wasn't. I didn't watch The Wire, so I don't know that show. I know Veep.

His manager posted this on Instagram, saying it is with tremendous sadness that I share the passing of my dear friend and client, Isaiah Whitlock Jr. If you knew him, you loved him. A brilliant actor and an even better person. May his memory forever be a blessing. Our hearts are so broken. He will be very, very missed.

Speaker 3: Right, continuing on the run here now, folks. New England Patriots receiver Stefan Diggs been charged now with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault. Accused by a woman who worked for him as a personal chef. She claims he slapped and choked her in a financial dispute. This is all over money. This was a December second incident. She reported it December sixteenth, but yesterday his lawyer was in court to deny the charges. But he has been charged. But Robe so much of this headline hit the Titan too. Who he is in a relationship with and who he just had a baby with, Yes.

Speaker 1: Cardi b And she had just put out the day before a heartfelt message on social media asking her fans to stop hating on her and her relationship with him. So she really it seemed very genuine. She was very vulnerable and this was probably timed because they knew this was coming out. The woman apparently went to the police station a couple weeks ago. So news coming out now, and of course his team, the New England Patriots, standing behind him in every way saying they fully support him and that he categorically denies the chargest bit of it.

Speaker 3: It's also on the run. Here mention here a story we've been then, really the country's been talking about the past few weeks. Tatiana Schlosberg, the granddaughter of JFK, has passed away at the age of thirty five. And again a lot of people, you know what, we're touched. Last month she wrote that essay in The New Yorker explaining this rare blood cancer and what she's been going through and what she was trying to spare her mom and her family from. But she's passed away now at the age of thirty five.

Speaker 1: Yes, she passed away on December thirtieth, So yesterday I just kept thinking about she made it through Christmas with her children. She talked a lot about her kids and just the sadness of them not knowing her or remembering her because they were so young. She actually had our cancer diagnosed the day she gave birth to her daughter, so that was about a year and a half, almost two years ago. And certainly just beautiful tributes pouring out of the Kennedy family. The JFK Library Foundation said this, our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning.

If you've ever seen the Jason State the movie called bank Job. That's exactly what has happened in real life, and they say it might be the biggest bank heist in German history.

Speaker 1: You were. Basically, if you look at and look and read the details of this bank heist, it's almost as if they took the script from the movie and actually completed and successfully robbed this bank exactly the way they did it in the Jason stath Of movie.

Speaker 3: The whole idea is this gang of thieves waits until nobody is around, a quiet time for the community, that the stores are closed, twistmass. They go through an adjacent store through the wall of the safety deposit room, steal everything and get out of there. That is what has happened in Germany, Folks. These guys or yalls possibly drilled a hole through a concrete wall apparently at an adjacent parking garage. Comes out. Then turns out some people saw massed men going in with equipment and didn't think anything of it. Don't know why, but they drilled a hole through they got into the safety deposit room and went through all of those boxes, and they say they have taken ninety five percent of the inventory at the German bank.

Speaker 1: And they said that a lot of the patrons of this bank were Turkish, just dignitaries, people had lots of money, and a lot of these folks had put their gold jewelry. And they said that the estimates, or at least the insurance they had in their boxes was nowhere near with the actual value of the content. So there are a lot of upset, angry folks who thought, yes, what's the point of a safety deposit box? You put your most valuable possessions in there for safe keeping.

Speaker 3: And one other part of the plot of bang Job is that there was some very damaging and incriminating information photos, at least in particular having to do with the royal family in one of those safety deposit boxes. We have to start with the one with the update out of Texas, the search for that Texas teenage you've been missing since she walked away from home on Christmas Eve.

Speaker 1: We're talking about nineteen year old Camilla mean Doza. Almost you've seen her face everywhere. I'm sure this just adorable nineteen year old girl. They did find a body, and they found it in a field just one hundred yards from her home. We know there was a firearm near the body, and we also know that the Sheriff's department said that there was a firearm missing from the family home. They haven't officially identified her body yet. There is no official cause of death, but they say no foul play is suspected and the body was in very similar clothing as to the clothing they believe that Camilla was wearing when she walked away from her family's home on Christmas Eve, and.

Speaker 3: A lot of people have that thought. One hundred yards away, she was so close. They said this field had been checked previous, but apparently has a lot of high grass, high brushia it was worth checking again and that's where she was discovered. We continue here. Next leg of our run takes us back to Washington, d C. Well, this thing continues. We have more and more cancelations robes from the Kennedy Center. More musicians are stepping up, putting their names to it and saying we're not going to perform either. Now we know that the New Year's even Christmas Eve performers had canceled. It's the White House is threatening to sue at least the Christmas Eve cancelation guy for a million dollars for canceling that. But by some of the numbers robes and they're all over the place. As few as seven but up to as many as eleven acts have canceled and robes. I can't imagine this is going to stop anytime. It might be more and more polling.

Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think maybe there is safety in numbers here, because yes, you've got the Christmas Eve jazz musician being sued for a million dollars. But if you think about it, if every other artist stands by kind of what happened to him, it might be they might think it might be too cumbersome to sue each one of these artists. But you know what, you know what, I wouldn't be surprised if that still happened.

The scene of him on the roof of his place is on right now, one of the funniest moments. But yes, Isaiah Whitlock Junior name and a face, a lot of people have known for decades in his career, having some very memorable moments in his career. Has passed away at the age of seventy one, and I guess Robes he would be most and best known for his role in The Wire, playing Clay Davis. He was apparently a pretty corrupt center or a politician. I believe it was, but I didn't. I wasn't. I didn't watch The Wire, so I don't know that show. I know Veep.

Accused by a woman who worked for him as a personal chef. She claims he slapped and choked her in a financial dispute. This is all over money. This was a December second incident. She reported it December sixteenth, but yesterday his lawyer was in court to deny the charges. But he has been charged. But Robe so much of this headline hit the Titan too. Who he is in a relationship with and who he just had a baby with, Yes.

Speaker 1: Cardi b And she had just put out the day before a heartfelt message on social media asking her fans to stop hating on her and her relationship with him. So she really it seemed very genuine. She was very vulnerable and this was probably timed because they knew this was coming out. The woman apparently went to the police station a couple weeks ago. So news coming out now, and of course his team, the New England Patriots, standing behind him in every way saying they fully support him and that he categorically denies the chargest bit of it.

Speaker 3: It's also on the run. Here mention here a story we've been then, really the country's been talking about the past few weeks. Tatiana Schlosberg, the granddaughter of JFK, has passed away at the age of thirty five. And again a lot of people, you know what, we're touched. Last month she wrote that essay in The New Yorker explaining this rare blood cancer and what she's been going through and what she was trying to spare her mom and her family from. But she's passed away now at the age of thirty five.

Speaker 1: Yes, she passed away on December thirtieth, So yesterday I just kept thinking about she made it through Christmas with her children. She talked a lot about her kids and just the sadness of them not knowing her or remembering her because they were so young. She actually had our cancer diagnosed the day she gave birth to her daughter, so that was about a year and a half, almost two years ago. And certainly just beautiful tributes pouring out of the Kennedy family. The JFK Library Foundation said this, our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning.

Speaker 1: You were. Basically, if you look at and look and read the details of this bank heist, it's almost as if they took the script from the movie and actually completed and successfully robbed this bank exactly the way they did it in the Jason stath Of movie.

Speaker 3: The whole idea is this gang of thieves waits until nobody is around, a quiet time for the community, that the stores are closed, twistmass. They go through an adjacent store through the wall of the safety deposit room, steal everything and get out of there. That is what has happened in Germany, Folks. These guys or yalls possibly drilled a hole through a concrete wall apparently at an adjacent parking garage. Comes out. Then turns out some people saw massed men going in with equipment and didn't think anything of it. Don't know why, but they drilled a hole through they got into the safety deposit room and went through all of those boxes, and they say they have taken ninety five percent of the inventory at the German bank.

Speaker 1: And they said that a lot of the patrons of this bank were Turkish, just dignitaries, people had lots of money, and a lot of these folks had put their gold jewelry. And they said that the estimates, or at least the insurance they had in their boxes was nowhere near with the actual value of the content. So there are a lot of upset, angry folks who thought, yes, what's the point of a safety deposit box? You put your most valuable possessions in there for safe keeping.

Speaker 3: And one other part of the plot of bang Job is that there was some very damaging and incriminating information photos, at least in particular having to do with the royal family in one of those safety deposit boxes. So when you talk about this and they say anywhere between twelve to one hundred and five million dollars worth of stuff is gone, there were probably some family secrets in there somewhere.
