Speaker 1: So sometimes we order the show based like we would a newscast. Right, you got the whatever is the most important story starts and then you go from there. But you're right, every story, for varying reasons, is incredibly important.

Speaker 2: And yeah, we got some tough stuff to pass along, some tragedies, some shocking deaths, and all kinds of stuff in there today, and we have some happy stuff. Always say I want to reverse the newscast and start with the happy stuff, but then you can end no.

Speaker 2: Yeah, So good morning wherever you may be. Hope you are getting off to a good start on this Monday morning. But along the run today we are going to be making stops in Texas, making stop in DC, also making a couple of stops in Massachusetts, making a stop in Eenamclaw, Washington, also Vegas, as well as the barber's chair, but robes. We will start with what is going into now a week long search for a murder suspect.

Speaker 1: That's right, the manhunt continues for a woman who police say is yes, armed and dangerous. We're talking about fifty eight year old Karen Solomon.

Speaker 1: This is someone who started a nonprofit to help first responders, and yes, now she is a wanted woman in connection with the death of her own husband, Kurt Solomon, a thirty one year police veteran, who is found dead last Tuesday. We only know he was killed with a sharp.

Speaker 2: Object's been seen one time since. They say she did call nine to one one initially, but then she bounced before police even got there. She was seen though on ren camera a short time later, just in shorts and flip flops. She didn't necessarily world look like a woman who was about to be on the lamb for a while. So where is she? But she has not been heard from since. That continues there continuing on the run here now story we are getting out of Washington State and is still developing. A suspect in a quintuple homicide this weekend has been now found dead again. This is in Washington State. Police had been looking for Benjamin Parker and connections with the deaths of five people and several animals. They say they are all found at a rural home on Saturday.

Speaker 1: So, Parker was then found dead yesterday in a car and police say he died by suicide. They do not know the motive, and they haven't released the identities yet of the victims or said what connection Parker had to them. But this is certainly concerning to me as we have been covering a series of these types of mass murders at the hands of a man this summer, and oftentimes they are family members that have been killed.

Speaker 1: But my god, babe, if this is another one of those mass murders involving a husband or a father, I don't even know what to say at this point.

Speaker 2: Uh, we will see, but they haven't. They haven't said anything about the ages of the victims, the names, nothing. We don't know at all yet. But yes, robes, that was the first thing that came to mind. I wanted to make sure I included that because there will be follow ups today on that. We need to head out to Reno now, where a fast moving fire is causing a really robes a quickly intensifying emergency situation for folks out there. We're talking ninety thousand people are being told they need to get out now or they might soon need to get out from this hawk fire that's burning robes near Reno, Nevada.

Speaker 1: Yes, this is now a fifty one thousand acre fire which started on Saturday, quickly spread and is now threatening homes. Some of the evacuations are mandatory. Others are being told just to prepare to leave. But authorities have not said exactly how this fire started. They did say it was human cost.

Speaker 2: I continue on the run here. Now. We've got a couple of court rooms we're going to be keeping an eye on today Week five of the Lindsay Clancy trial. It will be the final week of testimony, we believe for the Massachusetts mom who killed her three young children.

Speaker 1: That's right today, the prosecution's first rebuttal witness will be back on this stand. Forensic psychiatrist doctor Avra Mack, who testified Friday that Clancy was not suffering from postpartum psychosis. You think of the killings, You think he'll come back, He will be back on the stand.

Speaker 1: Yeah, the defense was in the middle of a very contentious cross examination when the judge called it a day on Friday.

Speaker 2: Yeah. Kevin Reddington, of course of defense attorney who, by many accounts folks, has been putting on on hell of a show, a hell of a display, a hell of a defense for Lindsay Clancy. Doctor Mack is expected to be the first of several prosecution rebuttal witnesses today, which means we should be hearing closing arguments as early as tomorrow or Wednesday. Then we've got jury instructions and deliberations. They're going to have the case this week, for sure, it appears. Now, help me with the calendar. This is Monday, August. We don't have a holiday or anything coming up, right, Okay, so we always jurors are really known when it's a holiday coming up. They'll wrap this thing up by Friday night.

The only thing they'd be up against is Labor Day weekend, which is still a full week away, so it should be they're not going to be pressed for times like they have been sitting there. Yes, this is a full month and now going on to week five, so they I'm sure are ready to get back to their regular jobs.

Speaker 1: We're probably going to need a week after process thing they've experienced before they even go back to their normal lives. I can't imagine being that immersed in something that dark, all right. Next up on the run, the other courtroom we are keeping our eye on is in Vegas. Week two of the Tupac murder trial scheduled to resume this morning as the prosecution continues its case against Dwayne Davis, the only person ever charged in the infamous unsolved murder of wrap icon Tupac Shaker back in nineteen ninety six.

Speaker 2: Of course, Davis not the one accused of pulling the trigger, rather accused of orchestrating the killing and providing the gun that was used. Duras wrapped up the first week listening to recorded police interviews in which Davis admits to his involvement in the murder and robes. Puff Daddy's name came up quite a bit on Friday, and I say puff Daddy because that's what he was called back then.

Speaker 1: Next up on the Run, the Texas team convicted in the stabbing death of another teenager at a track meet has been denied a new trial. Yes, we are talking about Carmelo Anthony. He was sentenced back in June to thirty five years in prison for the killing of Austin Metcalf, both of whom were seventeen.

Anthony Is argument to the court, through his attorneys at this two day hearing, was that he was denied a fair trial the first time around because one, there was a lack of public access and also Carmelo Anthony wasn't able to testify. And yes, Robes at the center of it. This gentleman's agreement between the defense and the prosecution in the initial one that wasn't official, wasn't on the record, but it kept a lot of character information about Austin Metcalf and Carmelo Anthony out of the first trial Robes. That stuff came out now in this hearing. I cannot imagine what that first trial would have been like if some of this stuff had been hurt.

Yes, this is just gutting. A man in Minnesota is now facing manslaughter charges after crushing his coworker's head in a hydraulic grapple like a grip basically, while the two men were apparently playing around.

Speaker 2: Man, this is Christopher Crimins is his name. He is now charged with second degree MANSLAUGHTERY, let's explain what happened here. Robes Crimins and his coworker god by the name of Tyler Lynch. They were on a tree trimming job when they decided to mess around with the truck's hydraulic grapple. Now, what that essentially is, Robes, is just a big grip. It looks like a claw that just grabs things. You can pick up branches and all this stuff. That's what it is. Sobes Crimins sees the shadow of this grip on the ground. Imagine a kid playing with the flashlight in the dark on the wall, making a little a duck. It's that kind of thing. So he sees it decides to start playing around with it. So he moves this grapple to make it appear that it was coming down on his coworker's head in the shadow. Problem is Robes they said he was watching the shadow as he was doing this and not actually looking at his coworker. He accidentally closed the grip on his coworker's head and crushed his head. Oh my gosh, robes. What I mean, This was a prank, this was horseplay, this was messing around and a guy's head gets crushed.

Speaker 2: And the victor of the guy who was like twenty six years old, really young guy. And now this other guy's in the early thirties in his life. What's that gonna be? But yeah, ess it's just an awful bizarre story. Well, stay with us here on this Monday morning run. When we come back, one of the most famous heads of hair in all the world has been cut. Robes, lovely blonde locks, now a crew cut. We will explain what happened there. Also Spidey still doing his thing at the box office. And I'm not overstating when I say an actor who's responsible for one of my all time favorite scenes in any movie has passed away at the age of seventy. Stay here, all right, we continue on this Monday morning ron I said, We're going to lighten things up a little bit. What we start though, with the passing robes of an actor that you might not immediately know the name, but you see the face and you go, oh, oh, that guy. That guy. Michael Wright has died at the age of seventy. He is perhaps both best known for his role in The Five Heartbeats. Also had roles in the war drama Streamers, and he played alongside Wesley Snipes and sugar Hill. But most memorably robes he was in a played Eddie Long, the lead singer of the Five Heartbeats. In that movie, there is an opening scene in which they're performing at an amateur event in this big stadium whatever on this stage, and they take over this scene like the music. The band wasn't doing this thing, and they just take over, and he puts on a performance that has the place just the place goes crazy. And I'm telling you, I'll watch it this morning and still had chills and tears in my eyes, not because he's dead, because it's such just a soulful, emotional, awesome scene.

That's incredible eight hundred and fifty five in the US overall whoo and two point two billion worldwide.

Speaker 2: Well, it's knocking on the door of Avatar and Avengers Endgame, the only other movies that have made more money in history. This one. The Robes could be the first. We've never had a movie across the one billion dollar mark in the domestic box office. Just in the US alone, it's close eight hundred and fifty five million, so it could get there. I was surprised it didn't get well reviewed, but still Robes we had a horror movie favorite of ours. Franchise made a good showing.
