But let's start now with the World Cup. We shouldn't be surprised robes at who is right in the center of it all now right.

Yes, President Trump is now in the middle of just all of this mayhem, a lot of finger pointing, and a lot of people who are pissed off, and some people are celebrating. I guess you could say. In a rare move, FIFA lifted the one game suspension of USA star forward Valerain Belligan, meaning he is now eligible to play in tonight's crucial game against Belgium.

Speaker 3: Okay, this is a big deal. He's supposed to be suspended because in the last game he got a red card, which means you automatically don't play in the next game. Well that's not the case anymore. The suspension has been lifted. They lifted it though after President Trump personally called the head of FIFA and asked them to review the case. Obviously, Robes people. This raised eyebrows. This now looks like political influence into the World Cup, a sporting event that the whole world just stops and takes in for a month plus rhas this. The folks are upset, not just Belgium who has to play the US, but Robes. This is not a good look when you talk about the integrity of the game, and a phone call got FIFA to do something that they almost never do.

This kid was born in the US robes birthright citizenship, and the President just saved him so he could represent the United States of America.

But the United States now the last remaining host country in the World Cup. Canada lost to Morocco on Saturday. Mexico lost to England last night in what was probably the best game I have seen in this World Cup. It was fantastic. But yeah, the US tonight, we all we got plans, we had resident it's the World Cup.

As we continue on the Run, eight people shot during Fourth of July celebration Saturday night in Coney Island. Four of the eight were children. They were between the ages of six to fourteen. They are all expected to survive, but there was a twenty one year old woman who is in critical condition. This morning, Robes this person is still on the loose. New detail that they added the person was in a ski mask when they did this, open fire on people who were celebrating, and there is no motive and this person is still out there.

This is where prosecutors are going to lay out their evidence in their case for the most part, so we should get a lot of new information essentially going to convince the judge there's enough evidence to move forward with the trial. But Erica Kirk, yes, the widow of Charlie Kirk, is expected to be in court.

When we come back, the owner of that beloved Nick's dog that was shot and killed by police has now taken action against the police. Will explain what that was and why is it. A movie could be number one at the box office but still had a bad weekend. All right, we continue on this Monday morning run. The owner of the dog that was shot. You remember Jamison who was shot and killed while wearing a Knicks jersey. Well, his owner is now suing the lapd. You'll remember the dog was shot. This became an international headline. Dog was shot June thirteenth, on the night the Knicks clinched the championship. It was a horrible story rose that somebody thought they were calling somebody who was in trouble.

Speaker 1: Yes, they heard someone screaming, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, and the the neighbor was concerned for the person in that apartment, so called police, and it all happened within seconds. But once we got that body cam footage, it was pretty obvious as we saw it. Jamison was big, but he was a saint. Wait, I'm gonna get it right, a saint.

Now, the lawsuit did not specify damages, but did accuse the LAPD of not following department policy on how to deal with animals. Speaker 3: But yes, there was a new Minions movie over the weekend. It was number one at the box office, but still considered a bit of a disappointment Minions and Monsters. It won the holiday weekend box offers, pulled in sixty one million dollars. Robes. That sounds like, yeah, you did fairly well. However, that's the lowest opening and the Minions franchise in their history, well behind the eighty million dollars it was projected to make. So that's a pretty big hit. So what happened fourth of July? They say, Possibly the issue is they fourth fell on a Saturday. That's when a lot of people go to movies, and this was the time they had specifically other plans and something to be out doing. So we don't know if it's gonna have legs but I think it is fairly well reviewed, so maybe that was the thing that did hurt it. Elsewhere at the box office, Toy Story two, it didn't seem to be hurt too bad by what was ever was going on. Fourth of July, it was number two at the box office, still doing well. Then Young Washington was number three. Made about twenty million dollars. This movie. Maybe you haven't heard a lot about it, but it is. Yes, it traces the history of George Washington before the Revolutionary War and then Supergirl. This poor thing. Uh, oh my god.

Speaker 3: I hated for this. Ah Supergirl, it dropped said number four the second weekend, but it has a seventy four percent drop. That is, you can't recover from that. So it's a bust. It's done. Now, the lawsuit did not specify damages, but did accuse the LAPD of not following department policy on how to deal with animals. We read through that policy, seems like that indeed, exactly that exact scenario happened.

Speaker 3: But yes, there was a new Minions movie over the weekend. It was number one at the box office, but still considered a bit of a disappointment Minions and Monsters. It won the holiday weekend box offers, pulled in sixty one million dollars. Robes. That sounds like, yeah, you did fairly well. However, that's the lowest opening and the Minions franchise in their history, well behind the eighty million dollars it was projected to make. So that's a pretty big hit. So what happened fourth of July? They say, Possibly the issue is they fourth fell on a Saturday. That's when a lot of people go to movies, and this was the time they had specifically other plans and something to be out doing. So we don't know if it's gonna have legs but I think it is fairly well reviewed, so maybe that was the thing that did hurt it. Elsewhere at the box office, Toy Story two, it didn't seem to be hurt too bad by what was ever was going on. Fourth of July, it was number two at the box office, still doing well. Then Young Washington was number three. Made about twenty million dollars. This movie. Maybe you haven't heard a lot about it, but it is. Yes, it traces the history of George Washington before the Revolutionary War and then Supergirl. This poor thing. Uh, oh my god.

Speaker 3: I hated for this. Ah Supergirl, it dropped said number four the second weekend, but it has a seventy four percent drop. That is, you can't recover from that. So it's a bust. It's done. It's not going to have a good theatrical run. You just hate it. It's what was the one, the Disney one with the snow.

When you have that momentum behind you, it can sink or it can it can catapult you, and in this case, it sunk them. Now we are excited this week because one of our favorite franchises has a release this week.

Like to the point where my daughters, who are big horror movie fans, the last Evil Dead Rise, I was encouraging them to watch it. We finally all got on a plane together and I was like, guys, it's on the plane. Watch They both watched the first five minutes and said, hell, no, I am not watching this.

And that was my takeaway from it, that we all kind of consider our past wrong or what happened to us, and we let all of that weigh us down, and it changes how we operate, not for the better. Yes, lessons learned important, but no matter what has occurred in your life up to this point, it should have no bearing at all on how you live your life from now on. If I look at it from that unempowering point of view, that you can always start over, You don't have to be a victim of your circumstances.
