We've been reporting on that, but now we've had two straight days without any fighting between the US and Iran, and the hope is that this pause and air strikes can lead to yes, finally a breakthrough in diplomacy that both sides can agree on.

So we continue here and also a part of the Iran war story, we do get word from several media outlets who have noticed and are pointing out a quiet, yet significant change the Pentagon made in counting casualties from the Iran War. For US service members you'll remember died recently in Iranian attacks. That was on July seventeenth and eighteenth, where the Pentagon announced their deaths. They were listed on the official Defense Department database of Iran War casualties, and the President even robes attended the dignified transfer of.

Speaker 2: Lucky us that's turned out to Seattle for the next leg of our run, where three people were killed in a shooting there at a food festival last night. At least four others were wounded, including a two year old, when gunfire erupted at the Seattle Center that's where thousands had gathered for this event.

Speaker 1: One person is in custody and police say they are still looking for another suspect. They do not have a motive right now, but they believe this was a case of two people shooting at each other and unfortunately people were caught in the crossfire.

Police in Germany shot and killed the man they say was responsible for a weekend attack at a pride festival in Berlin. At least one person was killed twenty nine others injured when the man drove a rented van into a crowd.

Speaker 2: He ran away from the scene at the time, a nationwide manhunt was launched. They called up to him on Sunday. He was killed when police say he charged at them. This attack now being investigated as quote an act of is Lomist terrorism.

Speaker 1: All right, Next up on the run, We are awaiting autopsy results on the eight family members who were found dead at a home in Michigan over the weekend. Fire crews were called to the scene for a house fire. This was in Grand Haven Township when they discovered the bodies inside.

Speaker 2: And those were two parents and their six children between the ages of five and fifteen. They were found dead and police say some had gunshot wounds. They did not say how many had been shot. But again this is the case where they do not believe there is a threat to the public. They believe this is an isolated incident and whatever happened happened there in the house. Senates not someone on the loose.

Speaker 1: All right, Next up on the run, opening statements are scheduled this morning in the trial of Lindsay Clancy. That's so Chusett's mom who killed her three young children. She is pleaded not guilty, claiming she's not criminally responsible for the killings because of mental illness.

Speaker 2: And twenty twenty three clans. He strangled her five year old, three year old and eight month old, then attempt at suicide. Her attorneys say she was suffering from postpartum psychosis.

Speaker 1: All right, Next up on the run. The teen who pleaded guilty to a deadly twenty twenty four Georgia school shooting could hear his sentence today. Cole Gray pleaded guilty on Friday to the fifty five counts against him, including murdering two teachers and two students.

Speaker 2: Yeah, we did hear victim impact statements for the past few days in this case. But Colgray's dad also has been convicted in this case of second degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, the first case in the country of a parent being convicted of murder after their child carries out a school shooting. The judge is going to decide of Cole Gray, who was fourteen at the time of the shooting, will get life in prison or life in prison with this is essentially he's going to prison for life. Is he going to get the possibility of parole? Is what this is breaking down to correct?

Speaker 1: Next up on the Run, a social media influencer was killed by her estranged husband after she made accusations about him. Well, yes, on social media. This is all according to Oklahoma authorities, who say Sarah Gilson was shot and killed by Jeremiah Sean Duffy. Shawn is what he goes by on Thursday. This is in Oklahoma, just northeast of Tulsa.

Speaker 2: Yes, police says she had been granted a restraining order against him in June after he was accused of child molestation. Then two weeks ago, she posted this to her followers on TikTok quote preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon to be ex husband, who I just found out is a pedophile, Robes. I didn't know this is some trend with people like go do something where you're supposed to talk about some Netflix documentary that's coming up or something. It's a whole thing. So she didn't she was following the trend, but she used that subject.

Oh, she's being interviewed by a documentary and apparently, yes, people do this when they drop big news or have something going on in their lives, and so she kind of made a little joke about it. But yes, two weeks later she is dead and police say, yes, a boy called nine one one saying his stepdad shot his mom and when they showed up, they found Gilson and Duffy both dead from gunshot wounds to the head.

Here now, Today will be day five of the preliminary hearing for singer David who was facing first degree murder chargers with a death and dismemberrant of his fourteen year old girlfriends so lessa repus her Nandez. Speaker 1: It was tough forever everyone in that courtroom. Prosecutor spent the first part of the day finishing that very difficult testimony from the medical examiner who was testifying about the two stab wounds that independently he said could have ended Celeste's life. He also went over the dismemberment, just the condition of the body. It was tough to hear, certainly for everyone in that courtroom, especially her parents.

Then the second part of the day a detective spent on the stand and he detailed a lot of what David and Celeste's relationship was. A lot of pictures were shown. There were photos of the two of them kissing, lying in bed. Some were too explicit to be shown, only described, so la detective went through a lot of this stuff. Prosecutors also introduced text messages between David and Celeste describing pregnancy and abortion many times in twenty twenty three and twenty twenty four, when Celeste Rose would have been just thirteen years old at the time.

David, after questioning her whether or not the baby was his, texted, let's let this abortion be the last one till we have the real one. Badly decomposed remains were found last fall. Look, this was a song. It kind of sounded like him. It sounded like someone was imitating his voice. The chorus names Celeste as the girl with my name tattooed on her chest. The song went viral, but it has since been removed for the account.

The film earned another eighty seven million dollars at the box office here in the US. That's just a thirty percent drop from the week before, and.

Speaker 2: That is phenomenal. We don't as casual moviegoers care too much about that, but that's everything for a studio. These things drop fifty sixty seventy percent from one weekend, from opening weekend to the next, thirty just doesn't happen. So that lets you know and Robes, this thing is sold out at these Imax theaters for months and months ahead of time. It's moving beyond now just a hit movie. It's something everybody wants to be a part of And that's just cool. It's made six hundred and forty million worldwide. It's well on its way. It's already made its money back. This we get these every once in a while.

Yeah, and I mean this, that is frustrating. I think for everyone involved in that film they should be paid for their hard work. That that's just awful to think that that people are stealing that art that was that took a lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of effort to put together just to steal it.

Industry, a show that I didn't watch, but he started in that but Ropes. He was, of course in a long walk.

I would love for Chadwick Bozeman to be in Black Panther two, three, four and continue on and on and on, but that's just how life works sometimes.
