We know it's a tough Monday for a lot of folks in some parts of the country, including in Spokane, Washington. We're making a stop there along the run today, also in Twin Falls, Idaho. We'll be making stops in DC, New York, Ohio, the West End in London as well as the box office. But we want to start here on the run robes with really two developing stories, one having to do with the war with Iran.

Speaker 1: My goodness, all right. Next up on the Run will turn now to Washington, d C. And an interesting headline here. Todd Blanche turns out might be become Attorney General. After all. His nomination seemed doomed after two Republican senators who have no reason not to do exactly what they want because they are not returning to Congress. Yeah, so those two senators withheld their support for Blanche until they received assurances that President Trump's anti weaponization fund would be dead for good, and they wanted that in writing.

Speaker 3: They got it last night late apparently, roll with Bland signed an order that officially does away with the fund and also amends the sweetheart IRS deal that was struck between the Justice Department and President Trump. So the Senate Judiciary Committee is now scheduled to vote tomorrow on his nomination. We did hear from Cornyn. Sounds like he is going to go ahead. I don't think we had official word yet from Tillis. Again, this all just happened last night, but it looks like after all that.

Everybody knew this, but the President was saying repeatedly that it was vandals. So she had to come out and admit it was all bs any allegation of vandalism. So that prompted this response from the President Roe.

Speaker 1: Woah, he put this out on his truth social I disagree one hundred percent with Janine Piro, the US attorney for the District of Columbia on the reflecting pool. I don't know what she was thinking. To me, it was a pure case of vandalism that included the grass which had a big eighty six forty seven emblazoned in giant letters on it, and other elements of the surrounding area. There may have been some contractor difficulty, but the major damage was caused by vandals, and vandals was in all caps with an exclamation point.

Speaker 3: So Miller issued a video statement this weekend, again denying the allegations against him, and suggested that his ex wife had serious mental health challenges. Those were his words, serious mental health challenges all right.

Speaker 1: After Miller's denial this weekend, Moreno issued a lengthy statement on x He said, out of concern for the safety of my family, I hoped to keep this matter private, but Max Miller's increasingly erratic and dangerous behavior has made that impossible. As he has admitted privately, Max Miller needs serious psychological help. He has a danger to my daughter, and I hold my breath every minute he has custody of my granddaughter. If there are any basic standards of character required to hold electtion did office Max Miller fails them, he should not serve in the House of Representatives. I believe Max Miller needs to seek professional help to end the clear pattern of abuse he has left in his wake. I believe he should not be free to continue endangering others until he does.

A lot of people are I think, making some of these comments out of concern for her, and some people are just flat out mean, but they've pointed to just how thin and frail she looks.
