Speaker 2: To tell us to brace ourselves. Today. It could be an interesting day weatherwise, and it was some tough weather across the country. Really yesterday we'll get into as well. But wherever you are, hope you had a good Father's Day. We both talked to our dads yesterday, just off the top right quick rope and then plan on doing this take away from talking to your dad on the phone yesterday that he.

There are some people in celebrities in particular having the first Father's Day without their dad, and so that's always a reminder. This is a tough day for a lot of it.

Speaker 1: Uh yes, and we'll keep the question mark there because we have to wait and see if it actually is. But apparently negotiators are using words like encouraging and significant to describe this latest round of yes negotiations between the United States and Iran.

Speaker 2: Yeah. Vice President Bands led the US delegation in Switzerland for talks yesterday with Iranian counterparts. The latest ceasefire deal that was signed last week calls now for a sixty day period to come up with a final agreement on Iran's nuclear program.

Speaker 1: The talks, however, did get off to a rough start, both sides threatening the other, the President Trump seemingly threatening the actual Iranian negotiators. On Saturday, Iran said it was once again closing the strait of horror moves, which prompted this threat from President Trump during an interview with Fox News.

But the back and forths both They say technical negotiations are supposed to continue, but the Iranian negotiators apparently have left Switzerland. But it will continue this week. We want to continue on the run here now and go back to DC Robes, where there is an update on the Kennedy Center.

Speaker 1: That's right. Trump's name was removed more than a week ago, we're told, but the public still has not seen the proof. A judge ruled that adding Trump's name to the center was unlawful and ordered his name removed by June thirteenth, and the center complied, but a huge tarp was put up to prevent the public from seeing the letters actually being removed by workers, and now, more than a week later, that tarp remains.

Meanwhile, the plaintiffs in this lawsuit filed a brief with the court Friday claiming, yes, Robes, they're in line with you that there is another reason that the tarp is still up because quote, the center wilfully sabotaging Kennedy Center's iconic facade to assuage defendants vanity or massage broken egos is a clear breach of fiduciary duty.

But yes, President Trump said, multiple arrests were made, blamed vandals and leftists for the problems that have plagued the pool since his fourteen million dollar renovation was completed recently. The other problem was a part of the major renovation, the peeling. The stuff was coming off the bottom of the pool.

It continued over the weekend, both sides doubled down. This is just an unnecessary story, not necessary back and forth. I should say here. Robe just started. Last week. Trump told the news out that that Georgia Maloney begged him for a photo when they were at the G seven Summer.

So then Trump went on social media Saturday repeating, yes, that the Prime Minister asked over and over for a picture with me during the G seven meeting in France. And then he talked to her poor level of popularity, and then he says that you know, the US loves Italy, but it just goes on and on. So then he gets upset because Italy wouldn't allow the United States to use their air strips when we were attacking Iran. So he just goes on to just basically tell her that she wants to be friends again with him in order to get her numbers up. She responded basically telling him, my popularity begins on my ability to defend Italy's national interest and that's what I've always done. My popularity is not of your concern. I suggest you focus on yours.

Next up on the run, we'll head here back home to Illinois, where at least two people were killed after a tornado outbreak. Dozens of tornadoes were reported in parts of southern Illinois and Indiana. Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, sor Ry. Next up on the Run, the FAA is investigating yet another close call, this time between an American Airlines jet and a Delta Airlines jet. This all happened at Boston Slogan Airport on Saturday.

The Delta jet had to actually abort a landing performed a go around in order to avoid a possible collision with the American Airlines jet that was trying to take off. Toy Story five just had the best weekend of the year at the box office, earning one hundred and sixty million dollars here in the US alone, and then picked up another one hundred and fifty two million internationally.

Speaker 2: That is impressive. This is the largest opening for any movie this year, certainly the largest for any previous Toy Story movie by far. Well, it's amazing that this this thing still has legs.

Speaker 1: You know what I was thinking, maybe the generation of people who began as children with Toy Story now have their own children, and so it's just like this very exciting, nostalgic, full circle moment for them.

Speaker 2: Not such a great weekend though at the box office for Disclosure Day. It was number one last week, but a pretty significant drop off here. This does not bode well for that Steven Spielberg film. But number three and four, this is unbelievable. Number three and four. Obsession continues to do its thing. It was number three, so it made fourteen point two million dollars. That is sixth week. It made seventeen in its first week. Six weeks later, it's still knocking at the door of that. That's incredible. This movie is ridiculous.

He had such a big league going into the final round. He six shot lead, but he had to do but the final hole and had some work to do it held on for a one shot lead. This was going to be possibly one of the greatest collapses we've ever seen at the US Open. But he pulled it off, So congrats them.

It was very dramatic and very cool. She received a wild card entry and by the way, just a little, just a little walk down memory lane. She is a twenty three time Grand Slam singles champion, and seven of those were at Wimbledon.

But just as we are sitting here, just thought we go ahead and mention while we're sitting here in an update that Kiir Starmer and the UK Prime Minister is going to resign from that position.

The Delta jet had to actually abort a landing performed a go around in order to avoid a possible collision with the American Airlines jet that was trying to take off. Toy Story five just had the best weekend of the year at the box office, earning one hundred and sixty million dollars here in the US alone, and then picked up another one hundred and fifty two million internationally.

Speaker 2: That is impressive. This is the largest opening for any movie this year, certainly the largest for any previous Toy Story movie by far. Well, it's amazing that this this thing still has legs.

Speaker 2: Not such a great weekend though at the box office for Disclosure Day. It was number one last week, but a pretty significant drop off here. This does not bode well for that Steven Spielberg film. But number three and four, this is unbelievable. Number three and four. Obsession continues to do its thing. It was number three, so it made fourteen point two million dollars. That is sixth week. It made seventeen in its first week. Six weeks later, it's still knocking at the door of that. That's incredible. This movie is ridiculous.

Now, just make a stop at the US Open. Wyndham Clark when his second US opened yesterday, but he just barely won it. Robes, it looked like I wasn't even that interested. He had such a big league going into the final round. He six shot lead, but he had to do but the final hole and had some work to do it held on for a one shot lead. This was going to be possibly one of the greatest collapses we've ever seen at the US Open. But he pulled it off, So congrats them.

She last played singles at the twenty twenty two US Open. So I love how they announced it. Wimbledon went on Instagram with Serena and announced this is not a drill. Serena returns. It was very dramatic and very cool. She received a wild card entry and by the way, just a little, just a little walk down memory lane. She is a twenty three time Grand Slam singles champion, and seven of those were at Wimbledon.

We were going to add this to the rundown this morning, but as we're sitting here, it has been announced that Kir Starmer is resigning as the Prime Minister of the UK. The writing was on the wall. A lot of people saw this coming. He's had some issues with his Labor Party in their recent elections and a lot of folks saw this was inevitable. But just as we are sitting here, just thought we go ahead and mention while we're sitting here in an update that Kiir Starmer and the UK Prime Minister is going to resign from that position.
