Megan posted the breakup message to her fans before going on to star in her Saturday evening Broadway performance in "Moulin Rouge, The Musical." As of this recording, Thompson has not officially responded or commented, but the Grammy award winning singer has followed up on her post by confirming that she has ended her relationship with Thompson.

Speaker 1: Yeah, so nothing official again as of this recording right from him, Robes, these are difficult. We did see Sue Bird and Megan Raupino last week. Now they are different in that they are a little more, not a little more. These are iconic folks when it comes to their professions and what they've done, and when they got together. This was as iconic of a couple. And they've been together for ten years and they've worked together. So they broke up, Robes and we talked about it. It might be one of the most excellent public breakups a celebrity couple I've ever seen.

Speaker 3: To the point where I felt like, the only way you could break up like this, and maybe people can say I'm wrong, is if the emotion's gone, If you might have respect for one another, but that passion that love just has been gone for a while. And to me, if you've reached a position or a point of a relationship like that, which I have, and I think many people listening have also been in a relationship like that, We're actually it as painful as it is to break up and to separate and to go on your own and how scary that is. It's not as sad because it's been gone for a while. I think a lot of people can recognize. And I'm not trying to take away from their extraordinary ability to remain friends and be very amicable in their public breakup. That's to be admired, and perhaps we should, actually anyone should take notes about how they did it.

She has to be in one spot six nights a week performing.

One show today, two shows on Saturday, one show today, they're dark on Mondays, but back at it on Tuesday. And so she's in the thick of it, and she has really a history making role. She's playing Zidler, who is basically the narrator and the basically the ring leader of Mula Rouge. So she's in almost everything. She is a tremendous role and big.
