Love Island (EP 19): Go Ahead And Call It “Orgy Island”
Just when it didn’t seem possible that Love Island producers could sexualize the Islanders any more, they introduced another challenge that quickly divulged into a barely clothed orgy on national television. One contestant even apologized to her parents afterwards…. We’re really hoping for their sakes, they fast forwarded through the segment. Looking beyond the growing ick factor of the show, there were some incredibly interesting developments in several relationships, with a couple of the boys continuing to pine away for their girls back home. And then there’s Corbin and Kenzie, who seem very satisfied in their new couples, with poor Caleb, who once again finds himself in a love triangle with Corbin. Who will recouple with someone new, and who will stay in their original couple? We make our predictions.

Speaker 1: Hey, the folks, it is Wednesday, June twenty fourth and season eight, episode nineteen of Love Island is in the books and in a word, yea, And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and TJ Roads. It's back. It's back. I had a few episodes we were doing okay, love the relationship.
00:00:20
Speaker 2: Stuff going so well, and there are still really good relationship discussable moments sprinkled throughout. It's just these challenges, they're one upping one another in the level of ick and I actually feel like this one, this episode's challenge was deliberately designed to skiv everybody out, even the villain, the.
00:00:45
Speaker 3: Villa and the islanders.
00:00:47
Speaker 2: They were literally screaming, closing their eyes, also egging them on, but even they were appalled at what they were saying.
00:00:57
Speaker 1: Why you said it was intentionally meant to skive us out? Wy would anybody want to do that? Why would any producer want to do that? Why? Baby? It seems like they're trying to create conflict, Like why it's so much of the complaints we have a lot of reality as like they put them in situations, put them with alcohol, and just try to be explosive as possible. They're setting up very explosive relationship dynamics to get people pissed instead of like, we're not trying to find love, we're trying to find conflicts. Wow, this isn't that you don't have to do this to enjoy the show and see people trying to make legitimate love connections. You put these people robes in this position to piss off to one up, to compete to see who can hurt the other people's feelings most by making out with somebody else. I hate this.
00:01:46
Speaker 2: Yeah, this challenge was tough because I'm assuming all of y'all have already seen it, but they basically let in real time you know how your partner, the guy or the gal you were coupled up with in the island, how they were doing in terms of making out with And it's way more than making out, but just getting sexy and sexual with a new person. By basically seeing a barometer of just how sexy and steamy things are getting while you're making out with someone else.
00:02:20
Speaker 1: You're trying to out do the person you're in a couple with. With somebody else, it's that you're trying to make out so hard with this new person that you are graded better than your actual partner making out with somebody roams. They're up in the ante to make you make your partner feel as bad as possible.
00:02:43
Speaker 2: And it worked. I hate this and it worked because that was exactly what whoever didn't win walked away to their confessional saying, man, all I can think about is who is this other person?
00:02:55
Speaker 3: And what were they doing with my person?
00:02:58
Speaker 1: Okay? And it worked anyway. We actually did not watch last night. We were exhausted, so we didn't watch it night of. We watched it this morning and Sabine, our thirteen year old, was on her way to school and she had watched Date up late, watched and she sent us a message and she said, you're gonna hate it. Ding ding ding ding, ding ding ding ding ding correct ding ing ing ing ing ding ding Rose. This was I give them credit. And there wasn't as much relate. There was some stuff in here and I maybe we should get to the stuff that I liked and we smiled about and it was fun and it was real. But just they're gonna stick with this. They think it's working, they like it, they're setting records it with viewership.
00:03:33
Speaker 2: And the worst part about it is it looked the kissing were so done with, but you know what, There was licking, there was biting, there was feet involved again for the second time. Kenzy got in her splits all over this man's body like it was I just and then oh, we didn't even say. It ended with a full blown orgy, like actual orgy with clothes on, where people were switching women on women. It was I think one of the craziest things I've ever seen on television.
00:04:04
Speaker 1: You couldn't get away with his own broadcast television, for sure, and that's fine, But I just they're making a choice, and I guess their numbers are reflecting the success of the show, and maybe the point is to get everybody talking like, oh my god, did you see that? Even if it's not positive, you're talking about it correct, So maybe that's enough. It really is a turn off for me right now from the show. Is it gonna make me stop watching? It hasn't yet. We're invested here, but it sure makes you fast forward, it makes.
00:04:33
Speaker 2: You it walked out of the room in a couple moments. I just couldn't watch it anymore.
00:04:38
Speaker 1: But Romes, it doesn't feel like that. It feels like some of the connections. The relationships are intentionally being sabotaged at a hundred and it's on them. Yes, it's on Sincere and Melanie. It's on them to make a decision. With the new people that come in. They can decide not to go do the making out where you're gonna sit there on the couch when everybody else got up and did the thing. The producers are telling you, you have to do this, you gotta go harder. You can't expect them to sit it out. But man, ro it's setting up a very explosive and not real world scenario that couples deal with.
00:05:12
Speaker 2: Could the argument be made that they're being tested in extreme ways so that when they are back together or when they do leave the villa, that they have actually been through some pretty incredible challenges in a short period of time that have been exceptional, intense, and beyond anything perhaps you would be tempted with in the real world.
00:05:32
Speaker 1: We don't know, absolutely not, because in the real world, I don't end up at another house for four days in just my swim trunks and she's just in launer loss. Yes, Okay, that's much better description than when I'm talking about no that's not real world. Again, it's just a game. It's just a show, just supposed to be silly. But Rhodes, I you, a lot of people get invested in hoping some of these people make it and some of these people are gonna be okay. So when I see them being manipulated in the most discuss of wait, it's just a show. Producers know what they're doing. This is the hit. It's just don't they're not making it for me.
00:06:06
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:06:06
Speaker 2: And they're young, and they're immalleable and gullible, and they're going along with it all, and they're getting into it, and they're in a bubble, and they're cut off from their friends and family, and they might be making choices that they wouldn't have otherwise. In fact, I believe one of the women looked to cameras and sorry, mom and dad, just fast forward through this.
00:06:22
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I remember what you talked about. But Rome, it's I mean, it's the show. I mean, I don't know what to say about.
00:06:30
Speaker 3: Where does it go from here? I guess would be.
00:06:32
Speaker 2: Look, we already know all about sex, we already know about who's slept with whom, we know about French fries, We see everybody basically swapping bodily fluids with one another on a regular basis. Where could they even take it in terms of being provocative. I feel like they've maxed out and gone even beyond where they should have.
00:06:51
Speaker 1: They have been simulated sex acts last night with some of the worsts were last night, and this is that's not an overstatement that I might be putting it too lightly. There were simulated sex acts, feet in people's mouths. Corbyn had his face licking a woman's butt that he met a day or two ago. Robes. There was one time Trinity had her own hand in her mouth, sucking on her fingers.
00:07:16
Speaker 3: I actually was gagging some of this.
00:07:19
Speaker 1: This wasn't just a makeout of sweet makeout section session. It wasn't Is it hot? Is that sexy?
00:07:26
Speaker 2: I was just gonna ask you that because for me, and I mean, everyone's got their own opinions, but I don't think that any of that was sexy at all.
00:07:37
Speaker 3: It was repulsive to.
00:07:39
Speaker 1: Me, every bit of it. Yeah, these are actually good looking people, Yeah, who look ugly as hell on TV. And what you're doing it's just I get it's skinny. It's just a game. Everybody just relax. It's just a game, just doing the thing. It's just not what I like to see. I'm actually hoping and rooting for Sincere and Melanie. Rooting for them, you know why, because I'm I've been riding with them and I've seen all they've gone through. This is this is it's unfair to that relationship. And I guess what we're supposed to say is Melanie and Sincere can always make the decision to back off and not pursue anything else. Okay, fine, you really think they're not getting encouragement, Oh, there absolutely seems to make sure.
00:08:22
Speaker 2: And I've never seen a season like this where it's very clear that the producers are encouraging and the group thing takes over where you've got everybody, like, you know, banging the drum, going whoo, trying to get the barometer to go up higher to win the competition. So everyone's egging each other on. You can see how this happens. But just all the back and forth and look, some of the Islanders talk about how it is weird to have feelings for more than one person, to be in a situation where it's totally okay and encouraged to be actively dating multiple people at the same time, telling them how you feel and not knowing who or which one you like better.
00:09:03
Speaker 1: All of the guys and all the girls like their original person better. Maybe n is the only exception and Casey. I think Casey's coming around and realizing what he's got over in the other villa. Really, I think he's gonna there are some cracks I saw in there, but I think there's a chance he's starting to realize. Certainly all the other fellas. Corbyn is the only one, but obviously sincere Zach, Bryce, Casey, yes' who am I missing? Corbyn? And Caleb and poor Caleb.
00:09:38
Speaker 2: Caleb, Oh yes, poor Caleb.
00:09:40
Speaker 3: Oh yes, Okay, where do you want to start?
00:09:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, we when we come back, let's go over Okay, we had to get all of because we just finished watching. We had to get the orgy stuff out first. When we come back, we're going to talk about the relationship side of things where we actually did learn something. And I'm curious what you think about where some of these guys and gals stand about what happens when they all go back to the villa together and meet back up. Welcome back everyone to our Love Island. Edition of Amy and TJ. We are up to episode nineteen. It was the grossest one yet. But before we got to the challenge, we actually were learning a lot about the ever changing feelings of the men and the women about one another after they've been now tempted, exposed to new blood. And I will say both Corbyn and k C both said at one point that the girls will.
00:10:44
Speaker 3: Corbyn definitely said it.
00:10:45
Speaker 2: He said the girls here are better than the girls back at the villa. And I was like, oOoOO, those are fighting words.
00:10:53
Speaker 3: It wasn't even it wasn't even received well when it.
00:10:56
Speaker 2: Was uttered, and it wasn't necessary to say unnecessary.
00:11:00
Speaker 1: How could he think that? By the way, no offense to the new women, But he said the women at the new place are better than the ones at the other place. He's caught up with Parmita right now.
00:11:08
Speaker 2: He's all up in Parmita right now. Literally, yes, in every way possible. But kse he was doing the same thing. And look, we talked about it. You said, well, this is what he's supposed to do. But he went and told one lady t T he's all under her, and he was. Then he goes and sits her down and says, yeah, I'm gonna ask the other girl to spend the night with me, Sydney. And then he wakes up the next morning and says, yeah, I'm not really into Sydney. I think I'm going back to t T. And now he's trying to decide who he likes better. T T or any TT was the original Tira.
00:11:40
Speaker 1: Yes, Okay, now t T. There we go, good relationship moment. TT known this guy for a day or two, she slept, they were in the bed the first night, correct, and he picked switched and tried somebody else. Okay, surely that hurt her feelings, but it's what he's supposed to do to feel things out robes. We both said oh. When he had to tell her he was going to try another woman in the bed the next night.
00:12:05
Speaker 2: It didn't go over well, but.
00:12:08
Speaker 1: It was I think it's a fan for her to feel what she felt.
00:12:11
Speaker 2: Yes, and because she made herself her feelings very well known because they've been watching the show, so these women knew who they wanted going into it, and so she wanted k.
00:12:20
Speaker 1: C and made it clear from the job and look, so she.
00:12:23
Speaker 2: Was very vulnerable and she got her feelings hurt. Then they started going ooh, she acted worse than Anaya started like throwing her under the bus. Then he realizes, yeah, maybe Sidney's not my gal goes back to TT. But here's what the red flag for me was with Kse. He was when he was describing her and comparing her to Anaya, he was like, well, Aniya didn't pick me. T T picked me. T T makes me feel wanted. And look, that is basically how most people operate it when they choose who they want to be with. It's how you make them feel. So look, I feel like and we're hearing Anaya saying she misses k c.
00:12:54
Speaker 3: Anaya is not. She's with Carl, but.
00:12:58
Speaker 1: I just I don't know.
00:12:58
Speaker 2: The guys kissed once. But she is holding out for Casey. I think that is going to be one of these really tough ones when it comes to who they choose. I do think there's a strong possibility Casey is going to bring Tierra back and Anaya is not going to pick anybody. Wait, Casey's going to t T. I keep getting make it, that's tah, It's the same thing. Sorry, but I think Casey's gonna bring t T back. You think he's gonna stick with Anaya.
00:13:24
Speaker 1: I think there's a chance he's going to come around. There were some cracks I saw in him, and he softened a little bit in his pursuit of t T. Right. He was all hot and bothered when he got in there. He was upset with Anaya. He's letting it all out, letting it loose. He's going out and having a good time. But then I think the dust is starting to settle robes. And I think it really turned him off with t T when she got upset, right.
00:13:50
Speaker 2: Which is what most people do when they're invested in someone.
00:13:53
Speaker 1: And even though we get the game and know what it is, I thought that was a very human moment. And I thought even though she was upset, she didn't yell, she didn't cry, she didn't curse. But I think it turned him off a little bit to be challenged again, like another woman is upset with something I did. Even though he knew he was wrong. I think he knew because of how he was kind of answering, come on, bruh, bruh, it kind of stop, bro. He kept saying that. But she came back the next day and apologize. Man, she did that. I don't know how old she is. She showed me something in that movie.
00:14:25
Speaker 2: Well it's true, and you know what the the I will say this leading up into that moment when she apologized she ended up in bed with Bryce and everybody has to couple up, and they had a shot at one point of her kind of cuddling up with Bryce, and Bryce looks at her and says, I'm sorry, I'm just thinking about her.
00:14:41
Speaker 3: Trinity. He is like a love sick puppy.
00:14:44
Speaker 1: Okay, so right now, go ahead and put this out there. This is Bryce and Trinity's game to lose one. Hun just guaranteed a win by that behavior yesterday.
00:14:57
Speaker 2: Agreed and Trinity because it all feels very And then Trinity is sitting there saying, you know that she is thinking about Bryce the entire time in tears. In tears, So the two of them, I do actually think I'm rooting.
00:15:11
Speaker 1: For them independent of each other. I like them, but not knowing either would ever see what they're saying in that confessional. They said that they are You're clear front runners. If they can just get back together, this is going to be beneficial for them. I'm all about Oh that Trinity is a special one.
00:15:30
Speaker 3: I agree she let the guy down as well, honest Yes, and the other thing. Okay, we have two other things to talk about.
00:15:38
Speaker 2: Okay, let's talk about poor Caleb caught in a love triangle once again and just honestly cut his losses.
00:15:45
Speaker 3: This time.
00:15:46
Speaker 2: He knew he was going to lose. He was with Permita at first. There is a shot of the three of them on the couch. It is Caleb, Permita and then Corbyn. Corbyn and Perimeter are all over each other taking selfies and he's just sitting there so awkwardly the third wheel.
00:16:05
Speaker 3: It was hilarious. So he cut his losses.
00:16:08
Speaker 1: Good on him this time, right, It was uh he saw it. Come, it's just we like everybody likes Caleb. Yeah, we just can't. We've been wanting him to go home to Vana mcgir girl.
00:16:19
Speaker 2: Well he moved on to the other blonde, so he is now with Yeah, she looked you know what, you nailed it. You said, she looks just like Jessica Alba with blonde hair. I actually like, next time you look at Jaden is her name? If as soon as you said that, it's all I can see Jessica Alba with blonde hair.
00:16:38
Speaker 3: But they actually seem pretty well suited to each other.
00:16:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, they seem okay, she was the one apologized to her parents after one of the Yes.
00:16:45
Speaker 2: She is the one who apologized to her parents. Oh my god, I cannot even imagine. Okay, and then this other ridiculous thing we're watching, and you even said you recognize the look in Sincere's eyes. But they did a really good job, the editors did. They don't have a lot of time, so I'm so impressed. But they were literally going back and forth between Melanie and now she's into Corey, right, so that was who Trinity said, no thanks, So she and Corey are. He's trying to do a hard sell on himself to her, too hard.
00:17:14
Speaker 1: He needs to pipe down a little bit.
00:17:16
Speaker 2: And conversely, you've got t t making a hard self of herself to Sincere.
00:17:22
Speaker 1: It's been two days. You're not falling for me.
00:17:24
Speaker 3: Well, it sounded like she was right down.
00:17:26
Speaker 2: So now you're listening to mel talked respond to coryus him.
00:17:30
Speaker 3: You know, I'm the guy for you. You need a man like me.
00:17:32
Speaker 2: You need a man who's dominant, who can handle you, basically, who can manage you. And then you've got t T telling Sincere like, you know, basically, I'm your girl, and I'm going to be there for you and I can love you.
00:17:44
Speaker 3: And you said you saw a look on Sincere's face.
00:17:46
Speaker 1: He did not want to be next to her, No offense to her. But everybody can probably relate to at some point in your life. Yes, there has been somebody you're in a relationship with that they want to be up under you or snuggle with you or cuddorled with you, and you know you don't want to be close to this person.
00:18:07
Speaker 3: You might not have a terrible feeling.
00:18:09
Speaker 1: You can't. They're not doing necessarily anything wrong, and in fact, you think you should want to reciprocate, and it feels even worse. He is he wants to go back to that villa and see Melanie right now.
00:18:23
Speaker 3: Yeah, to me, that's a done deal.
00:18:25
Speaker 1: He's got nothing, he's not in it. He's trying to be nice. Yes, he's making out with her, but he I just don't see him.
00:18:34
Speaker 2: His language even he was like I'm so he was basically saying, I'm so happy you've allowed me to explore my feelings. He never like, basically, thank you for letting me use you to confirm that I want to be with Melanie. I mean that was what I read through what he was saying, and the fact that she didn't pick up on that was interesting to her.
00:18:51
Speaker 1: She did, Oh she did? So is this the first and I missed it? I think we were watching fairly closely? Was there in a see your analogy in this?
00:19:01
Speaker 3: Oh?
00:19:02
Speaker 1: This is maybe not analogy?
00:19:04
Speaker 3: Here's one?
00:19:05
Speaker 1: Oh, then you know he's he's.
00:19:08
Speaker 2: He's off, he's almost Melanie, she's his, she's his metaphor used. I guess he needs to give back with mel because we need the metaphors because.
00:19:16
Speaker 3: They are amazing.
00:19:18
Speaker 2: Okay, So if anyone and will end it on this, if anyone.
00:19:23
Speaker 1: Well before I have questions too. If you want to make this the grand I have a questions for a woman. We can do it at the end. A wee can wait?
00:19:29
Speaker 3: Do you ask me your questions first?
00:19:30
Speaker 1: Okay? My question? Do women call each other bitches like this all the time? And does it bother some women to hear other women? Sometimes it's positive and sometimes it's negative. But women just so freely flat and call each other bitches like this?
00:19:46
Speaker 3: So it's the Yes, it's gen Z.
00:19:49
Speaker 2: The Zuomers and I say this because I know I hear Avan analyse Ava more than analyse. But they'll call each other bitches, they'll call each other. They'll say that's very they use words. It's that whole rea claiming a word that was negative. Now I can say it now men can't say it. Uh, you know what gay men can like in the circles, like gay men can call we can.
00:20:09
Speaker 3: All call each other that word.
00:20:11
Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not somebody who speaks like that typically, but I hear it all the time. It doesn't bother me. It's what girls, it's it's like you're my girl, but you just say hey.
00:20:22
Speaker 1: But I hear them say they've said it positively to their own girls, but also about other women as bitches, And it was I.
00:20:28
Speaker 2: Say this bitch, then that's obviously negative.
00:20:31
Speaker 1: But they've been using in both ways, positively and negatively. I just didn't I'm even meaning to ask you for the last couple of episodes.
00:20:37
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's a total thing now, it's though that word has been reclaimed. It speaks of like female kinship. Basically, you're my you know, we're all bitches together. But yes, if you say this be then that's a totally different, meaning, uh, just you got to pay attention to the inflection and who it is you're talking about.
00:20:54
Speaker 1: Other thing. What did you think it was, Jessica Albush? You said I've never cooked for a man. Oh yeah, I don't know why. I just stopped for a second. She's very young, and that's okay. Is I don't think she was trying. She was just asked about I'm not sure how it came up. But is that a thing? Is that just a random thing? Did you think anything of it when you heard it?
00:21:14
Speaker 2: It did catch My radar was up. And I do think it also speaks to this generation of women where look, they're going against the stereotype.
00:21:24
Speaker 3: Our mothers cooked for our fathers.
00:21:25
Speaker 2: I mean, at least mine did, and most of my friend's moms cooked for their fathers. And so now you've got a whole crop of women saying I've never cooked for a man, and they're proud of it. So I do think there was a little bit too that. And if I did cook for a man, it would be special. It's not because I have to or I'm supposed to. It only be because I want to. And I do think that that is part of this whole recorrecting or overcorrecting perhaps what stereotypical norms have been for so long.
00:21:53
Speaker 1: No, maybe it's just correcting, and maybe some people think this correction should be made. My mom cooked for my dad. I'm not going to do that. I'm gonna have a I'm gonna dry hump a guy on National TV.
00:22:05
Speaker 3: I'm gonna take back my power.
00:22:06
Speaker 1: That's right.
00:22:07
Speaker 2: Mama couldn't do it like hoe status.
00:22:10
Speaker 1: No, come, it's a game, it's a game. No, no, no, I think that.
00:22:14
Speaker 2: Is the thing though, Like people say what we've seen, Sure, it's people proud like they're going against slut shaming basically, and so you're saying I own this, I do this.
00:22:23
Speaker 3: This is me.
00:22:24
Speaker 2: I'm a sexual being and I can do whatever I want to whomever I want, as long as it's consensual.
00:22:30
Speaker 1: Which is true. But I would never look at that and call like, I'm not looking at you and saying slut We say slut shaming, because what now we slut shaming people who swap spit and are having an orgy and trading off and doing this on the show. I'm not slut shaming anybody. I'm just saying it's gross, not yourself out.
00:22:50
Speaker 3: And I think that's why.
00:22:52
Speaker 2: Oddly, I do think that's why it's accepted now to see what we're seeing, because for so many years it was so unacceptable that it's just overcorrection, and that that is an overcorrection. Like, come on, I can't even believe we're watching this on television. I mean, honestly, it's wild.
00:23:09
Speaker 1: Tell me the positive. Tell me where you've read something where people like, yeah, people are really eating up what's happening this season. Wow, people are loving the changes because all they keep pointing to is the ratings. As long as the numbers.
00:23:18
Speaker 2: Are up, there is no problem with shocking everyone. Okay, they're just shocking everyone. And I think at a certain point we're all going to be numb to it and it's not going to be shocking anymore, and maybe we can go back to more of the relationship.
00:23:29
Speaker 3: I don't mind kissing a little bit.
00:23:31
Speaker 2: Come on, my last ques are you?
00:23:34
Speaker 3: Are you good?
00:23:34
Speaker 2: Because I wanted to end with what you think?
00:23:37
Speaker 3: Who you think? On the guy side.
00:23:40
Speaker 2: If anybody who's going to make a switch when it comes to the recoupling.
00:23:45
Speaker 1: Obviously is Corbyn. Uh. If I had to make my money, put my money on it ropes. I'm going with Corbyn is the only one switching.
00:23:57
Speaker 3: Well, yes, because Caleb can pick whoever he wants.
00:24:00
Speaker 1: The other guys Sincere, Zach, Casey and Bryce.
00:24:06
Speaker 3: You think they're sticking with the ogs.
00:24:08
Speaker 1: Bryce for sure? Yes, right, Sincere I would even go close to who is the Zach we heard the.
00:24:16
Speaker 2: First time, the first time in this episode say that when he was kissing Alana, which we haven't even discussed.
00:24:23
Speaker 1: Oh, we forgot about it.
00:24:25
Speaker 2: Is not she was barely shown. That's their answer.
00:24:27
Speaker 1: We forgot about it.
00:24:28
Speaker 3: No, he's going to pick Kada.
00:24:30
Speaker 1: Damn. That's it.
00:24:31
Speaker 2: They just minimized her. She had no airtime. Oh, essentially edited her out of the show.
00:24:38
Speaker 1: We're done. I'm so sorry. Yes, Zach obviously is not taking her back.
00:24:41
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's picking Kada. And we heard him say that when he was kissing Alana he was thinking of Kada.
00:24:46
Speaker 1: Oh my god, rod Ro she just nailed it. Obviously. This is their solution to the whole controversy with Alana. Who's the videos are out of her old videos of her using the N word when she's.
00:24:57
Speaker 3: Just didn't go away with a with an absolute whisper?
00:25:00
Speaker 1: What did they have she had to do the makeout session, but they barely even they are they are editing this young lady.
00:25:06
Speaker 3: Out of the on the cutting room floor.
00:25:10
Speaker 1: That's true, but that moment, right and Casey is the other one. I think I think he's gonna that's true.
00:25:18
Speaker 2: Okay, And women what women are not going to choose their O g.
00:25:25
Speaker 1: Kinsey kin is it right? Kada's a little caught up right now, Kata's a little into the guy, right, No, I.
00:25:34
Speaker 3: Don't think it's so.
00:25:35
Speaker 2: I think that Kata and Cha she does like, but she's she hasn't even agreed to kiss him outside of a challenge.
00:25:42
Speaker 3: He is a chiropractor.
00:25:45
Speaker 1: She said, he's fine as yeah, okay, that we're sitting in Okay, I know you're talking.
00:25:49
Speaker 2: About Anna, Yes, totally Anaya and Carl he's the I see half Asian.
00:25:55
Speaker 3: He's like kind of he's huge.
00:26:00
Speaker 2: Obviously we know Trinity is going to pick without a doubt, definitely, Kenzie is into her new guy. His name is Dylan. And then who am I missing Melanie?
00:26:13
Speaker 3: Melanie. Melanie's obviously picking Sincia, so the.
00:26:16
Speaker 2: Only person who's going to switch, and Jen's got her new guy, but she wasn't coupled up with anyone to begin with, so really it looks like Kensey and Corbyn for sure.
00:26:24
Speaker 1: Switching Casey's my question He's my only question mark.
00:26:27
Speaker 3: I think Casey oof.
00:26:29
Speaker 2: But my only reason why I think he might pick an Ayah is that he knows he's going to look like a dog to America. I feel like if he went with his heart, he would pick Tity, but he might choose an Aya because he's being.
00:26:40
Speaker 1: Strategic, which is okay and which the game is supposed to be. But brogues this is as much as I hated this episode, he'd all came back around in the moment when the guys were standing there and looking out over the water and they were kind of they were kind of little lost puppies to wear. Oh what are our girls doing over there? She's making out with a guy. He's probably buff.
00:27:00
Speaker 3: And she's probably throwing my name down.
00:27:02
Speaker 1: Yes, that's real. That's how guys handle it and say it in that way, not necessarily emotional, but that is they It's hit them, it's hit them that. Wow. We came in here all hot and bothered and excited, and holy hell, the grass ain't greener they actually want those other women who they've established something with roads.
00:27:24
Speaker 2: And look to the show's credit, I appreciate the fact that that is something that happens in real life.
00:27:31
Speaker 3: People always looked as the grass greener.
00:27:34
Speaker 2: You start fantasizing, you start thinking what you got isn't good enough, and you want something better, and then when you go out and you try it in the real world or whatever, you realize you know, absence makes the heart grow fonder, or that is a true test if you miss someone or not, and if you can't stop thinking about someone even if you've moved on. And so they're just putting it all in warp speed and in an unintense pressure cooker.
00:27:57
Speaker 1: Ridiculous temptation, but antily clad temptation the whole there's nothing.
00:28:03
Speaker 3: I'm curious.
00:28:04
Speaker 2: I said this was it, but I just want to ask you one last question. I'm curious. Like we talked about how it wasn't a turn on to see all of this kissing and soft porn stuff, what do you think about leaving nothing to the imagination, like how these girls are dressed. Obviously it's good for ratings, and men like to look at women's beautiful bodies and all of these women have beautiful bodies. But is there something that is taken away from the fact that we just see everything all the time?
00:28:31
Speaker 1: Yes, Intrigue, mystery, anticipation, all of it's gone robes they call it. It's called foreplay. Right, you don't just go at it. There's a reason you don't usually just meet somebody in the bedroom and you both make it. There's you would like to have a drink first, Right, It's just it's what I'm saying. So and again, beautiful women, Yeah, hot dudes to start to finish everybody. I guess we're just grown folks. Been there, done that, seen enough to where we're not acting like horn dogs at the idea robes. You need something more than a hot body to sustain you in a relationship, but also in a relationship on an island that you're only gonna be there for two months. They're realizing that.
00:29:19
Speaker 2: Still then still gotta have a conversation.
00:29:21
Speaker 1: You still gotta talk. I hated the conversations and a lot of these robes, and I know they're editing it. I'm sure a certain way they are, But all we're hearing is, man, your eyes are pretty I can be the man for you. I'm really feeling not connection, and I just hear bs and maybe they do ask about families, and that stuff got edited out because it's boring. But it's just there's nothing to the conversations right now in these new places. Those conversations have been had over the past few weeks with the actual couples. Man, and those couples I think deserve a chance, Yeah, deserve a chance to see it through, not just because some nice piece of ass just came in.
00:29:59
Speaker 2: Exactly so this is Look, we'll still just try to look away, fast forward, leave the room for a bit if it gets nasty, but still appreciating the overall concept and am still very invested in the outcome of what happens on Love Island. We'll be watching. Thanks for listening to everyone.
00:30:18
Speaker 3: We appreciate you as always. I mean you roboch alongside TJ. Holmes. We'll talk to you soon.
