Hillary Clinton’s Epstein Deposition Disrupted By Congresswoman’s Leaked Photo

Hillary Clinton’s Epstein Deposition Disrupted By Congresswoman’s Leaked Photo

Democrats are fuming after Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert sneaked a photo of Hillary Clinton to a right wing podcaster in the middle of Clinton’s deposition. The hearing was paused to investigate, and Clinton and her team asked to bring the press into the deposition for full transparency. Democrats now have a list of demands, asking that President Trump direct Pam Bondi to release all Epstein files, unredacted. They also want Trump himself deposed, now that former President Bill Clinton is set to testify tomorrow.

Speaker 1: Hey, they're folks. It it's Thursday, February twenty six and an unseerious clown show of a deposition that that welcome to this episode of Amy and TJ. Rools. I didn't think he'd be hopping on so quickly doing an update of Hillary Clinton's deposition that is still going on, and it started a little bit ago, but it has. For a deposition that's supposed to be in private, we have learned an awful lot about what's happening in the room.

00:00:27
Speaker 2: Yes, including the fact that the deposition had to be paused because it was disrupted because a member of Congress clearly violated the House rules.

00:00:39
Speaker 3: I think every.

00:00:40
Speaker 2: Congressman and every congresswoman at this point would know. In a closed door session, a closed door hearing where the media is not allowed, especially given the fact that the Clintons wanted it to be open, you probably shouldn't take a photo, send it to someone who then posts the photo in real time for all to see.

00:01:01
Speaker 1: This happened? Was it within the first hour? Right?

00:01:03
Speaker 3: It was pretty quickly, so.

00:01:05
Speaker 1: Yes, folks've been waiting. This is this is red meat salivating times for the Republicans. The Clintons under oath and you get to ask them questions. Yes, this is a big event for Republicans, we get that, but Robes, Lauren Bobert of Colorado not new to controversy and actually usually doesn't give a damn about courting controversy. She was the one, and we know this because she has admitted it, and also the picture we saw has her name right in front. She seemed almost proud to be showing off that she was the one that took the picture of Robes. This is a bigger mess than we anticipated. And what's everybody talking about today? Something other than survivors, something other than victims. Once again, this has become exactly what everybody thought. It was just a political theatrical mess, and it's an embarrassment for everybody.

00:01:56
Speaker 2: I believe Hillary Clinton predicted that this was what she was stepping into, although I don't think she could have anticipated this twist in it all because it almost seems calculated. There was a photo that shouldn't have been taken without her knowledge sent to yes a Republican po caster or a right wing podcaster, who then put in a caption basically saying, look how unhappy she looks, and look at her now for the first time having to face questions over Epstein, So just taking whatever phase she was making and interpreting it in real time while she's testifying, and then when the actual hearing, the deposition had to be paused so they could figure out what was going on, who took the photo, and.

00:02:41
Speaker 3: Deal with the issue.

00:02:43
Speaker 2: Then they go on again to say that basically this was orchestrated by Hillary to try and not answer by getting upset about a silly photo. Now she's trying to evade questions. It's just no matter what happened, and this was a drama that was created by the congress woman. Now somehow the fingers are pointed back at Hillary. It really is remarkable when you see what's happening in the world of pr.

00:03:08
Speaker 1: We think remarkable. Robes Hi, Bill and Hillary knew this was coming. This is why they pressed, and they pushed let's do this in public, in front of everybody. Why because it doesn't give one side the opportunity to draft a narrative. There is only now one narrative that has come out of that room that was supposed to be closed door. That narrative is a picture of her that a popular right wing podcaster and influencers put out to his millions of folks saying, ooh, look at her. It's going bad for her. She looks bad, she looks nervous, she looks scared, she looks There is one side and one narrative of a closed door hearing is an image of her. They own it. Even after it came out. Robes the Democrats came out, after they did some questioning. They said, after that photo came out and after the pause, Hillary Clinton and her team were screaming and yelling, well, excuse me, I'm putting, I'm spreading my way. What I'm saying is they're beating in the table. Say let the press in now.

00:04:07
Speaker 2: Yes, at this point they and they would have. First of all, I understand why they wanted to press in there. If this is all about transparency, isn't this the whole point of the House Oversight Committee to investigate the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. Right, So this is all in the air of full transparency for the American public. And so when the people who are being deposed were all these alleged claims have been made about them in this vacuum of information, fine, they want the public to hear. They want members of the media in the room. They want full transparency.

00:04:46
Speaker 1: Oh the irony, and they want it for this reason in particular. They just got set up. The Clinton's got set up. They did. We know he didn't. This is part of politics, and they knew it was coming. But they got set up now, and so our camera's going to be allowed in. Democrats are now, in the first three hours of this deposition today started making new demands. Robes. They came out and make some serious demands of Trump, of Pam Bondy. They're making serious demands having to do with Bill Clinton's testimony tomorrow now based on this. I don't know if any of this is going to go their way. But Robes Hillary Clinton, we said, and I think a lot of people would agree, it was a smart move on her part to release at least her her written statement. So she did release that this morning. That's not a violation of any night that I've seen now that she released that ahead of time, so it was out there. But man, bro I did not see this one coming. But the Democrats will come out and call that I started at the top an unseerious clown show of a deposition they said, this is an embarrassment to Republicans because there's nothing to ask. They're running out of things to ask her. She has no recollection of ever meeting the man, never been on the plane, never been to the island.

00:06:06
Speaker 2: The only thing that anyone can tie the two of them together, and we talked about this in the previous podcast, was that, yes, Gallainne Maxwell, isn't a picture in Chelsea Clinton's wedding because she was the plus one from a with a man who was friends with Bill Clinton.

00:06:22
Speaker 3: Okay, and that's it. That's it.

00:06:25
Speaker 1: Look, nobody's ever going to believe anything that comes out of her mouth if you are on one particular side of the aisle. But when you talk facts and evidence and everything else, and the pictures that have come out, we're looking at a picture on TV right now, Will Clinton standing next to jeffy Epstein. Okay, if you want to talk to him, we'll listen to your argument from maybe talking to him. She has nothing to do with this thing. No, I don't robes. This is exactly what we thought it was gonna be, which was one a waste of actual investigative time, but two it was for Republicans to get what they're getting right now. Now, is it possible it's going to backfire home because one of the things Democrats have come out now and they're demanding robes Trump. They're demanding Trump gets in front of this committee and testify because now we got a president set for presidents showing up to give congressional testamenty.

00:07:16
Speaker 2: Yes, first time in history it's happened. So why should one president be treated differently than the other. The Republicans would argue that a sitting president is different than a former president.

00:07:25
Speaker 3: But I'm that's a gray area right there.

00:07:29
Speaker 2: The Democrats are also making demands, and this is something that the Hillary Clinton team said they wanted as well. They want the full transcript and video within twenty four hours. They don't want it edited, no editing of the video, and that makes sense. That is the way to have full transparency, and I appreciate that is why they wanted it live. That is why they wanted the media in the room, because you can't edit something, you can't take something out of context.

00:07:55
Speaker 3: People get to see and hear.

00:07:57
Speaker 2: For themselves in the full context of what's being said from what's being asked.

00:08:03
Speaker 1: Isn't it usually the opposite sometimes you don't see that often the witness saying, please make this public, Please put me under oath in front of cameras, and let's do this in public. Why would the Republicans not want to do that?

00:08:19
Speaker 3: And there's a question that only they can answer.

00:08:21
Speaker 1: That's something if you want to embarrass them, if you want to show them up, if you want the whole, if you want transparency, and if you want them to answer for what they know and let ropes, how is transparency putting them in a closed hearing and then leaking out just the things you think look bad. That was the point. That was the point, and sure enough, here we go. This is a look the Bill Clinton thing tomorrow. I am very curious. Can you imagine if they did allow cameras. There's no chance Republicans going to agree to that.

00:08:56
Speaker 2: But why wouldn't they? To your point, have they answered that question? They have said that they they This is how they do it. They depose people first and then they have a public hearing. But this is their one and done with the Clintons. It's not as if they're going to do this deposition for hours, an extraordinary long deposition, as we already heard Comer say it was going to be and.

00:09:17
Speaker 3: Then go and do something publicly afterwards.

00:09:19
Speaker 2: So I can't you know, that's the only thing I have heard from the Republicans that this is just how we do it. But it doesn't make a lot of sense, and a lot of folks would point to there's a reason why, and the reason is there's really nothing you're gonna get from Hillary Clinton. She actually doesn't know anything.

00:09:39
Speaker 3: Bill Clinton. I don't know.

00:09:41
Speaker 2: It would be interesting given the events of today and the fact that now you've got the Clintons doubling down and really asking.

00:09:49
Speaker 3: For full transparency.

00:09:50
Speaker 2: Now that you've got folks on the Republican side taking pictures and leaking it out to the media to whoever they want to give it to, then that should open the door for the conversation to be re examined.

00:10:03
Speaker 1: Well, can you imagine tomorrow Bill Clinton versus the House Oversight Committee on live television.

00:10:12
Speaker 3: I would plan the entire day.

00:10:13
Speaker 1: Change my day, absolutely, it would change my day. And look, some of these folks on committee. Lauren Bobert was in I don't know, second grade, seriously, literally when Hillary Clinton was first Lady. Right by the time she's Secretary of State, Lauren Bober is barely out of high school, so she's in there. You know, just the dynamics here. I know she's from a difference, she's a younger, different age, but to not give a damn about the decorum, to not actually give a damn about rules, it seemed more important to her, like a game.

00:10:46
Speaker 2: Well, yes, to surreptitiously take the picture than to leak it to your friend, a conservative podcaster. And then, by the way, when the podcaster feigned just outrage and insanity that people were making such a big deal about this, then I'm assuming this is during the break before they went back into session, starts commenting back on his act, saying, you did nothing wrong, like just defending basically the release of this photo that clearly was in clear violation of House rules.

00:11:15
Speaker 3: Want to point that out. This isn't a gray area.

00:11:18
Speaker 2: This isn't you know, maybe she shouldn't have or that wasn't cool of her to do. No, taking the photo was a violation of committee rules period.

00:11:26
Speaker 3: Now has there been talk.

00:11:27
Speaker 1: Of any sort of punished So that's my question to you. I haven't seen anywhere. I haven't either, And she's still in there, and it has continued, I don't know what changes they made. I assume they didn't take everybody's phone from them like their children, put them in yonder pouches or something like they do kids here in New York. But she's still in there, and it continues on. I've just I am itching to see what happens tomorrow. Does Bill Clinton have no because then if he says, you know what the way you're all doing, I changed my mind. I'm not coming, And then folks are gonna say, oh, he's got something to hide.

00:11:57
Speaker 3: I don't think he can do that.

00:11:58
Speaker 1: At this point, they have been set up and it's all playing out. But stay here, folks. We talked about the Democratic demands. We will tell you their list of demands that they made mid deposition today, and all those demands have to do with President Trump's there.

00:12:24
Speaker 2: Welcome back as we record our second episode on the goings on inside that Chappaqua Performing Arts Center where Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State, former first Lady, is being deposed by members of a committee that has been investigating the Epstein investigation. And look, this is a private deposition. It's being recorded. We are being told we will get a transcript and a video of it, but yeah.

00:12:54
Speaker 3: That remains to be seen.

00:12:55
Speaker 2: The Clintons wanted this to be transparent, They wanted members of the media there.

00:12:58
Speaker 3: They were cool with the.

00:13:00
Speaker 2: Open hearing, with the public watching it as it happened. What ended up happening instead, Yes, you have this closed door meeting, but one member of Congress, Lauren Bobert, decided to take a photo, a clear violation of the rules, and leak it out to a right wing podcaster, who of course put captions and interpretations on Hillary's face. It just was completely and totally a rules violation.

00:13:26
Speaker 1: And you look through some of that more than I did. Can you summar give kind of not the verbatim booking, an idea of the stuff he was saying.

00:13:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, he just was basically saying, look at Hillary, this is the first time she's being forced to answer to.

00:13:40
Speaker 3: Questions surrounding Epstein.

00:13:42
Speaker 2: And the big thing is he was pointing out she doesn't look happy, and so it was kind of like it was kind of like a haha, look at her, she's on the hot seat now kind of a thing. And then the one that felt very manipulative is this, I can't believe people are upset this is insane. It's just a photo, as if rules are meant to be broken.

00:14:03
Speaker 3: I mean that was really the attitude.

00:14:06
Speaker 1: And Okay, they know what they're doing, and he is part of and who knows that this was a planned ahead of time?

00:14:13
Speaker 3: Very possibly so, But this is just a what transparency?

00:14:17
Speaker 1: This is what we're doing? Epstein files? What was that thing called the Epstein Transparency Act?

00:14:22
Speaker 2: Yes, how could it be? Having cameras inside that hearing, having cameras watching that deposition live? You know, every network would have just salivated over that. And so the big question is why why have it in private? Why have then a photo leaked? Why not at members of the media. And look, and Democrats came out in the middle of this pause and had a lot to say, and they said, they said, look, we have not learned one new thing, not one new thing. And they said they were appalled by Republicans' behavior and un seriousness about the investigation. This is truly they called it the clown show, as you mentioned, and this is what they said. They were more concerned about getting their photo op of Secretary Clinton than holding anyone accountable.

00:15:10
Speaker 3: And that's pretty much what Hillary said as well.

00:15:11
Speaker 1: The interopening statement from the beginning roles this is just meant to embarrass the Clintons. I don't even know if it's meant to actually get information or get them to pursure themselves. I think it's just meant to embarrass the Clintons. And I don't know how effective this picture was, but they I do really feel that they are on their way to accomplishing their goal, which is to embarrass.

00:15:33
Speaker 3: Look, it wasn't a flattering photo.

00:15:35
Speaker 2: It was you know, when you're taking a photo when you don't want someone to see that, you kind of put it down, so you've got this angle of like downwards looking up.

00:15:42
Speaker 3: And so yeah, it was.

00:15:43
Speaker 2: It's just I just find it so disrespectful and frankly appalling that an elected member of Congress would sneak a photo and leak it while a deposition is going on. That's the antics of someone who is a teenage who's an I don't just not an elected member of Congress who's a grown ass woman.

00:16:04
Speaker 3: I don't understand.

00:16:05
Speaker 1: I want to give you know, I'm trying to give space, right she got caught up in the moment and did something she shouldn't have, and I want to give space. But but ropes. This is just one where it seems clear from the moment they subpoena these folks the direction this thing was going. And they have kind of confirmed I guess Robes with that picture. Who knows what the questions are legitimate in there. Maybe we'll see it. But the picture kind of confirms the unseeriousness of these proceedings. It confirms that this isn't you trying to be transparent, This isn't you trying to get answers and whatnot for the victims. This isn't about victims.

00:16:43
Speaker 3: Yes, and so the Democrats have made demands now because of this.

00:16:46
Speaker 1: They came out the chair of the excuse me, the ranking member and the Democratics he came out, and so some of the things he's out, Wow, I can't wait to hear the responses to this stuff, and chief among them, I would love to see whether or not Bill Clinton. Are they going to give him cameras? No? Probably, But he who wants to go up against Bill Clinton on live television in an arena, he knows better than anybody. He's been in that arena a bunch and I think he probably won most of those fights because he's still standing and he finished his two terms after being impeached.

00:17:21
Speaker 3: That is a very good point.

00:17:22
Speaker 1: What you got from me now that I ain't seen before. I would love to see that show down.

00:17:27
Speaker 2: Well. The Democrats are also asking for Trump to direct Pambondi to release all the files unredacted on a day where there are some notable missing files. They're all asking that Trump on equivocally rule out pardoning Ghlainne Maxwell, What do you think of that one?

00:17:44
Speaker 1: I think it's interesting. We've talked about this for a while. While he has not like he could easily say no, I'm not gonna partner. He's been asked and asked and asked, and he has had every opportunity to say he would partner, and he has gone around that. I think he's sometimes he said, yeah, it's not really something I've even thinking about. I haven't heard that name in a while. I don't even know he dances around that thing. And the Democrats today made the point, Yes, she's essentially been bargaining, negotiating in public almost for a pardon from this guy. And when she did her with Todd Lance right.

00:18:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, she got the lovely move to a what I forgot? What they call it the always cushy.

00:18:23
Speaker 1: You're the one that used They always ask you the name.

00:18:25
Speaker 2: It's camp said, I think campedes together.

00:18:29
Speaker 3: We figured it out camp fed.

00:18:30
Speaker 2: But yes, this cushy woman's prison, and this is only for non violent offenders. She is a sexual predator. She is convicted of sexual abuse of minors. Yes, that is a violent conviction, so she should not be there.

00:18:44
Speaker 1: But her interview robes. Very little came out of two days of interviews. What did come out. She went out of her way to praise President Trump and to say, Nope, he never did anything wrong, never saw him do anything wrong, never heard him do anything wrong. She has seemingly done everything she needs to do to make sure she stays in his favor, saying the right things. And it sounds like he's keeping that card in his pocket as well.

00:19:06
Speaker 2: That's exactly what I was just going to say, because he absolutely could rule out pardoning her right now and put an end to all of that speculation and conversation. That isn't good for him. There's a reason why he is not putting an end to it period.

00:19:22
Speaker 1: It looks bad, but.

00:19:24
Speaker 3: We don't know what the reason is. But it seems as though there is one now.

00:19:29
Speaker 2: The other thing, and we've talked about this, but they made it very clear Democrats during this break that they want Trump.

00:19:35
Speaker 1: To post good luck. But at this point it's worth the ask, is it not? Yes, if you want to bring Hillary Clinton in, who knows nothing, why don't you bring in the person who we already know knows more than Hillary Clinton? And oh yeah, her husband's coming tomorrow, former president. Oh so, President's a fair game now, so bring him in. That is obviously not going to happen, but it's a asked. The other thing, Robes, as we wrap here, is going to be We did it this morning. We talked about it this morning. Robes, this is going to be a big, big deal and a big headache for the president. Where are those missing files? That has now been discovered? Three missing interviews from a woman who claims that President Trump sexually assaulted her when she was a minor thirteen eighties. Now we know that the interview. The FBI did at least four interviews with this woman back in twenty nineteen after Jeffrey Epstein's case came up. Four interviews. One of them she talked about the abuse Epstein did to her and then the others she apparently talked about Trump. Those details of those interviews are now.

00:20:51
Speaker 2: Missing, and the Justice Department has said that they're going to go back and take a look at why they were not included and get back to us and.

00:21:00
Speaker 1: Get back to us. But the thing is Democrats have won. It was clear today when they came out from this Hillary Clinton deposition, several of them. So they are about to drive this into the ground. They are going to drive this. He has a brand new headache. Until those files come out, there is now going to be this storyline, this narrative ropes that they have jumped on. There is a woman out there who is detailed to the FBI a sexual assault when she was a miner by Trump, and the details of those interviews she did with the FBI are missing from these files. That at least deserves an answer well.

00:21:42
Speaker 2: And unfortunately for President Trump, again these are just allegations and he's denied all wrongdoing, but by having them be missing now there is a massive glaring spotlight on them.

00:21:56
Speaker 1: And we have to keep saying President Trump has never been accused of any wrong doing, any any criminal wrongdoing and connection to Jeffrey Epstein, not once has something like that come up? Officially, I should.

00:22:09
Speaker 2: Say yes, because this allegation certainly would would point in the other direction.

00:22:13
Speaker 1: But Robes, it's missing. They're missing. But Democrats think they have one now and they are going to drive drive, drive that point home. Well again, folks, as we speak, she continues to be deposed. We don't know what's going to happen. We didn't expect this update. Actually, we didn't expect to do an update at all because it's a close hearing, right, We're not suppose hearing you.

00:22:31
Speaker 2: We're supposed to wait till we get the video and the transcripts, and look if Democrats can at least push for that, that does seem like a reasonable ask given the events of the day, to say, hey, within twenty four hours, we want full transcripts and a full video, unedited release to the public.

00:22:44
Speaker 3: End of story.

00:22:45
Speaker 1: We shall see.

00:22:47
Speaker 3: And with that, everyone, thank you for listening to us. We always appreciate you.

00:22:50
Speaker 2: I'm maybe Roebuck alongside DJ Holmes, and we will be talking to you soon.
