That will be the last problem I have today. But on the run today, we'll be making stops in DC and Texas at New York's Penn Station. Also, we'll make us stop with the Department of Justice in Baltimore and also on Manhattan's Upper West Side. But roads we have to start with. I guess this is just the routine now. It's always been two straight weeks of pretty much the same thing, which is the US hitting Iran.

Speaker 1: The United States and Military kept up its nightly bombardment of Iran targets. Sitcom says it completed a thirteenth straight night of strikes that lasted about two hours. The Pentagon says it went after targets meant to diminish Iran's ability to attack ships in the strait of horror moves, and.

Speaker 2: Iran responded the way they have every night for the past thirteen nights as well, by going after US assets in the region. Meanwhile, President Trump says he's close to making a decision about a massive attack on Iran like never before seen roaps. Another threat don't know how empty, but Iran did not appear to be shaking in their boots all right.

Speaker 1: Next up on the run, President Trump has announced a new round of tariffs after his more ambitious tariffs were struck down in court. Trump has now issued a ten to twelve point five percent tariff on goods from more than sixty countries, which represents more than ninety percent of all goods coming in to the country.

Speaker 2: Of course, we've seen the headlines time after time after time his tariffs, so a lot of his tariff policies, the more ambitious ones, have been shot down by court after court after court, including the Supreme Court. So robes they found a way now to hit everybody with this new tariff by using some loophole or language that says they can do this if the countries don't crack down on forced labor. So Canada is being hit with this because they're not doing enough to crack down on forced slace.

The Transportation Department is asked for permission to rename New York's Penn Station.

Speaker 2: Okay, they didn't say what they want the name to be, all right, So they're asking for more money from Congress. So in their request, this was one of the things on their wish list. They want to change the name. Our guy, Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary has been on the record and said previously that he didn't mind the ideas. It's quote, it has a nice ring to it. When he was asked about renaming it Trump Station and Carolyn Levitt, what was her comment, she said, why not? Yes, she was asked about why.

The administration was trying to force the journalists to reveal their sources for reporting on the security concerns regarding the president's new air Force.

Speaker 2: One Now, the judge was highly critical of the government lawyers in this case, and even suggested he'd be justified in issuing sanctions against them for their behavior and bringing this forward in the first place at Heaven hurt. Well, excuse me. They didn't say the Justice Department that they were going to drop this completely. They say they're going to find other ways to figure out how to get justice for weeks and all this stuff. But yeah, this is.

Speaker 1: The preliminary hearing for singer David continues this morning in Los Angeles. Today is day four of that hearing, and the medical examiner who performed the autopsy on fourteen year old Celestrivus Hernandez is expected to return to the stand today.

Speaker 2: Singer David, that's a stage name, of course. His real name is David Anthony Burke, David Anthony Burke. For a while in the reporting, it was all David Anthony Burke. And now I see most places just say dated David Burke. They've dropped the anthony, David dropping Anthony all right, but yes, David Burke. He's charged with murder and sexual abuse of her Nandez, whose body, badly decomposed body and dismembered body was also found in the trunk of a car last September. The criminalists were on the stand yesterday. They testified to the stains of blood that were found in Burke's garage that they had a strong DNA match to Hernandez and Rose. Yesterday it was about the air fresheners that were found in the car. That was one of the headlines. Yep. Headlines today were about testimony having to do with this fake blood that was found.

Speaker 2: Were found in his garage. They described as drug jugs and trays of fake blood. We've seen some of his art and his videos. I think he's romantic homicides. It was used for videos, they say, But it was just a weird detail.

Speaker 1: Next up on the run, a sixteen year old in Baltimore has been charged for killing a fifteen year old and her nine year old brother. Keith James Junior facing two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Giovanna Myrie and her brother, Stephen Allen Ropes.

Speaker 2: I first heard that, I said, this is another situation of accidental shooting or something left. They were playing with the gun. Then I see the ages. Wait a minute, then they say first degree ropes. They were talking about. This kid did this on purpose, and according to the criminal complaint, James had threatened to kill the young lady if she quote messed around with any other guys. This a sixteen fifteen years kids, we're talking about. The killings happened on July seventh. Police use surveillance footage and cell phone data to identify James as a subject of suspect I should say, and arrested him this week. He's been held without bail. Sixteen year old.

Speaker 1: Police in New York are investigating two stabbings as a possible hate crime. This happened near Central Park on Manhattan's Upper west Side. An Asian man was stabbed with the knife, and then a short time later, a Jewish man was stabbed with a screwdriver.

Speaker 2: Yeah, they identified the suspect, fifty one year old Raoul Morales. He reportedly yelled alul akbar during the attacks. God is great. I believe that's what that translates to. Both victims are expected to survive. They did mention rope. They believe Morales does have mental illness. He doesn't have an official record, but they do believe it played a factor, all right.

Speaker 1: And next up on the run, a teen accused of shooting and killing four people at his Appalachi High School in Georgia nearly four years ago, now plans to plead guilty to those charges. At a sentencing hearing today, sixteen year old Colt Gray switched his plea from not guilty to guilty for the shooting deaths of two teachers and two fellow students after a jury, you may remember, convicted his father, Colin back in March for second degree murder and involuntary manslaughter.

Speaker 2: Y Colin Gray gifted the assault style rifle to Colt that was used open fire at the high school. Is set to be sentenced next week. This morning, the judge will determine Colts sentencing during the non negotiated plea in sentencing hearing, after listening to each side's summary of the case, evidence and sentencing recommendations. Or this is a big deal. I mean he's in there fighting for his life essentially, or at least how much of it is going to be spent behind bars?

Speaker 1: Absolutely, and remember not only were four people killed, another teacher and eight more students were wounded in that mass shooting at that Georgia high school that just left so much carnage behind. And yes, at sixteen, he is standing before that judge today to hear his fate.

Health officials are now investigating, Yes, a second outbreak, which they say is not connected to the current outbreak, linked to lettuce from Mexico that's sick in more than eleven thousand people.

But I'm sure Robes the seventy two is still more than they get in a year in Michigan. Absolutely, Okay, so this is a big deal. Here's the thing. Don't have a clue on earth what not to eat? They don't connect this to anything. No store, no state, no restaurant, no farm, no country, no food, no nothing. They don't no.

So these eggs, the nineteen million eggs, and I'll be honest for ROAs I first saw it and it's at one point six something million eggs, and I said, okay, that's not that bad. Includes white eggs, brown eggs that have been sent to grocery stores in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Mississippi one two, three, four, five six. That didn't done my math right, so forty four states we were the safe ones. But do you identify these with the sell buy and best buy dates that are between July twentieth and August seventeenth. If you don't remember all that, just look for that company, Midwest Poultry Services, in those particular states. They have all this stuff posted, but they know particularly which eggs you should not be eating. Okay, that is no illness connected.

Speaker 1: So look, Trump's never attended other than the one he was nearly killed at, or at least there was an attempt on his life at. So this will be the first time he actually would give a speech which typically is meant to be yes, self deprecating and just humble and funny. And it's going to be very interesting to see what tone he strikes.
