And you could tell when she got up, And everyone gave her a standing ovation. She was breathing hard, like she was trying to control her emotions. She was, I think, probably a little stunned, a little embarrassed, and probably trying not to cry, because it was emotional as well, just giving your crown up and having that last final moment. And as she's collecting herself, she falls again. The good news is, it was actually so ridiculous, she started laughing.

To a good start, but on this morning run, we're going to be making a number of stops, including in, yes, Nepal, at the Great Lakes, at the Kennedy Center, at New York's LaGuardia Airport. The Atlantic Ocean, we'll make a stop in Vegas, Pennsylvania, as well as Miami. But yes, let's start in that courtroom. I guess we should start in that jury room, Robes. Another big day, and it's a big day of waiting.

Speaker 1: That's true. The jury will return this morning and continue to deliberate in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder trial. The Massachusetts mom has admitted she strangled her three young children, but she has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. This is a heck of a case. Five weeks of testimony for these jurors to unpack.

Speaker 3: And Prosecution and Defense both delivered their closing arguments yesterday morning. The judge then gave jury instructions, and then they got the case around lunchtime. They deliberated about three and a half hours before they got out of there, and they will have a full day today. If they don't get an answer, they will be back on Monday, but we're keeping an eye on that one. Also, closing arguments scheduled in another courtroom. This one's going to happen on Monday, though. This is out in Vegas in the Tupac murder trial. Dwayne Davis on trial there facing a murder charge for his role in the 96th murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur. He didn't pull the trigger, but accused of orchestrating the plan and also providing the gun. He's the only person ever prosecuted for that murder.

Speaker 1: All right, next up on the run, we're going to head overseas, and that death toll is nearing 500 in the devastating flooding along the Nepal-China border. At least 1,500 people are missing as crews continue fighting through mud and debris. in hopes of finding survivors. And we've seen those photos, those images and videos of people being pulled out from this muckiness that has been left behind. Officials are warning some of these same areas are at risk of another rush of water from a nearby lake. We don't have the exact count, but dozens and dozens of Americans are among the missing. The president said he doesn't want anything to do with Ontario up in Canada. So we're going to change the name of the lake. They're saying his name is going to be on it, but hey, we're not violating the judge's order because we're not changing the name of it officially.

Speaker 1: All right, next up on the run, remember that deadly collision at LaGuardia earlier this year? An arriving plane rammed into a fire truck that was on the runway? Well, it turns out two air traffic controllers left work earlier that night, and now the FAA is in the process of trying to fire them.

Speaker 3: Yeah, according to multiple news outlets now, they're reporting that the two controllers left early, yes, but it's unclear why or if they had the okay to do so. pilot and co-pilot you may remember died in that march 22nd collision there were two other air traffic controllers that were left that evening rose but it's why did these two leave if they're trying to fire them something must be up they say they're looking at this thing uh some kind of fraud among air traffic controllers about manipulating their times that they've been in there yeah they're looking at this all over the country.

I'm going to taxi the jet to the gate, and then I need to go to the hospital. Wow, the co-pilot safely landed the plane, and it is unclear right now what the medical issue was or how the captain is doing, but that is beyond frightening.

Well, it turns out two air traffic controllers left work earlier that night, and now the FAA is in the process of trying to fire them.

Then he just looks at her and walks away, doesn't give her a helping hand, doesn't pull her up. There isn't some laughing, joking, kumbaya moment at the end of it. It still wouldn't be okay that he did it, but how it ends leaves such a bad taste in your mouth. It actually makes you feel sick.
