Fat Jokes, Trans Attacks, IQ Insults: And This Was Trump’s Kinder WHCD Address?!

Fat Jokes, Trans Attacks, IQ Insults: And This Was Trump’s Kinder WHCD Address?!

The President spent roughly an hour on the dais, finally giving that much anticipated speech to the very group he spars with daily, the members of the White House correspondents association. Even though he said last night’s speech wasn’t as much of a “doozy” as his original speech he planned to give back in April, he still delivered cutting, offensive remarks aimed at some of his familiar foes. The president went after at least one member of this cabinet and made a few, rare self deprecating jokes that landed. But the tension in the room was real, with many of his biting, insensitive comments putting members of the audience in an awkward position.

00:00:02
Speaker 1: Hey, that folks. It is Saturday, July twenty fifth, and last.

00:00:06
Speaker 2: Night, all the reporters and all the news organizations that President Trump says he hates were collected in one room. He was in that room too. He was the only one with the microphone. Awkward And with that, welcome to this episode of Amy and TJ. We haven't discussed this ahead of time. How would you characterize some up the speech he made at the White House Correspondence dinner.

00:00:32
Speaker 3: There were moments of laughter, but a lot of moments of tension. It was vicious, it was it was funny, but it was awkward. I mean, awkward would be the best way to describe it. And I believe a lot of people reported just the tension in the room just because it got mean. When you go after the physical aspects of folks, that's when people get uncomfortable.

00:00:57
Speaker 4: And he did that many, many, many times.

00:01:00
Speaker 2: Us unsurprising in his insults and surprisingly self deprecating. There are a couple of moments that I was I found myself giving him credit and like, wow, that's a good joke. I was surprised by that. But yes, folks, it was the due over last night. The everybody knows the story. The White House Correspondents dinner in April had to be postponed after that gunman ran through the security checkpoint and they had to reschedule. Everybody knows that backstory. So this was the due over at ropes. He did tease us, I think right after that initial cancelation in April and then maybe even subsequent times that this speech would be kinder than that one.

00:01:38
Speaker 3: Oh, He's made reference to that multiple times. Like he said, his first speech, the one he had planned was a doozy, I believe is the way he's described it. And so he basically even began last night by saying, Hey, you're lucky I'm not giving this speech I was gonna give because that one, that one was even harsher than this one.

00:01:57
Speaker 2: I hope someone in the White House press room asks for a transcript. Can we just have a transcript of the first one? I would love to see if this was the follow up. We will go through some of the best jokes. The people he insulted a lot of stuff robes. I think he went back into the same old well, dipped into the same well of insults with the same people, not going to go through some of those, but these were some of the best and most vicious that we heard. Will start at the top ropes again, a very timely funny joke. I thought he's there at the Waldorf story of this time, and he says, I know this building very well because I built it, and I'm very proud of it because I built it for two point nine billion dollars less than the Federal Reserve, which is a lot smaller.

00:02:34
Speaker 1: By the way, I like that joke.

00:02:36
Speaker 4: Okay, that was funny. He did have a couple of good ones.

00:02:39
Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, I agree that one was funny, and I do think that I cannot wait.

00:02:44
Speaker 4: Do you have a favorite joke?

00:02:45
Speaker 1: By the way, I'll be able to pluck it out of here. I know so much.

00:02:48
Speaker 3: I know what my favorite joke is, and it involves RFK Junior. You know which one I'm talking about?

00:02:53
Speaker 1: Yes, I know.

00:02:53
Speaker 4: That was absolutely my favorite joke.

00:02:55
Speaker 2: I think my funniest one we go through is going to end up being one that he made kind of poked fun at himself. Surprising. We'll continue here again. We just got to go through the jokes for you. Here's why he said. I think a lot was learned from that evening, meaning the White House Correspondents Dinner the first time in April, a lot was learned, A tremendous amount was learned about security and about other things, the dangers of what we all do. But just like any or just like my presidency, the second time is always better. It's always better, and the third time will be better.

00:03:22
Speaker 1: Yet. But when he made that, he got a little uncomfortable. That a little awkward. But then it's funny.

00:03:28
Speaker 4: It was that a line, and he even said, I'm only kidding, but it's in.

00:03:31
Speaker 2: Line with this thing about him possibly trying to get a third to hear him just joke about it, and we're not worry that maybe he's seriously.

00:03:37
Speaker 1: It was a relief.

00:03:38
Speaker 4: It was a relief, all right, okay.

00:03:41
Speaker 3: And then when he talked about the gunshots, he did, I mean it was I do think this was appropriate and it was actually nice.

00:03:49
Speaker 4: This is part of what presidents do at these sinners.

00:03:51
Speaker 3: They take uncomfortable situations and they make light of them, and so he did that.

00:03:55
Speaker 1: He said after it, this might be my favorite.

00:03:57
Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, okay.

00:03:58
Speaker 1: This was early.

00:03:59
Speaker 3: After hearing the gunshots, many people yelled get down, get down, which caused Nicki Minaj to start twerking. Do you believe it? Get down. She's the only one that really understood what that meant. It was quite an evening.

00:04:11
Speaker 2: That was Again he's weaving in a big headline of Nicki Mina, somebody who's gotten all kinds of hell from the black community. He incorporates her into something he doesn't really fully understand.

00:04:23
Speaker 1: Talking. I thought, whoever wrote that one that was well, that was a good one, that was well done.

00:04:28
Speaker 2: Ah.

00:04:28
Speaker 3: Yes, and then here's the doozy thing. Oh, he talked about what the speech he was going to give. Oh, that was going to be a doozy. I was so psyched. I was going to rip people. And I don't know, just something changed. It's really for the better, but I just wouldn't want to do that. But we'll do a little ripping if you don't mind.

00:04:43
Speaker 2: It was kind of a you were like, oh God, here we go. He was kind of teeing us up. This also appropriate quote. Everyone's looking really good tonight, And I know it was not easy finding shoes to go along with your bullet proof vests.

00:04:54
Speaker 1: That's a good things.

00:04:55
Speaker 3: Again, yes, and he continues it's he keeps getting funnier on this one.

00:04:59
Speaker 2: But he's light of what was a horrible situation that nobody got. Yes, I know the Secret Service agent took a bullet and he's okay in his vest.

00:05:07
Speaker 1: But Rob see that's appropriate. I give him credit.

00:05:11
Speaker 2: He continues here bulletproof vests, which many people didn't want to wear it because they'd rather die than look twenty pounds heavier. Again, a good joke, He said, you know that, right, We have that a lot. They put one on me. I said, you you sure I'm not wearing this. No, they say, sir, it's about twenty one Not good, And he was delivering that in a way, but he was saying, this thing is weighed twenty one pounds. I'm too big to be adding twenty one pounds. It was a surprisingly self deprecating and poking fun frankly at his own weight, and that is not something he does.

00:05:44
Speaker 3: Agreed, Agreed, And then he went on to talk about Carolyn Love and he said she may have one of the hardest jobs in the White House. She has to deal with all of you all of the time. And you could be very difficult. You could be very very difficult people. But I'm probably being a little oversensitive. I heard him say that a lot. He would attack the press in this speech and then say maybe I'm just sensitive. Maybe I like he did acknowledge that he potentially overreacts to people and to things.

00:06:12
Speaker 2: This is the first time I've heard him maybe insult the press and also softened it after he did so, or as he was doing so.

00:06:20
Speaker 4: Yes, agreed, Agreed.

00:06:21
Speaker 3: He went on to say, but this place is really the largest group of Trump derangement syndrome people ever put together at one time. I suspect some of you are lucky that our last dinner was cut short because I had brought with me what would possibly have been. I'm telling you I had something I was going to go after you. I feel so badly doing this. It's got to be such a letdown. But your lives were really in danger the last time for an opposite reason.

00:06:45
Speaker 2: You know, I'm so curious about that other speech he went on This was also self deprecating. He told this whole story roads about the ballroom and about all the changes making the Secret Service and the security, putting the drones on top of the White House and blah blahlahlah blah, And he said the Secret Service was telling him about the plans, and they didn't want them to be revealed, even though they need to reveal them to get the budget.

00:07:06
Speaker 1: You know the story. So he said, he's talking to the Secret.

00:07:10
Speaker 2: Service, hearing about all these plans to build this secret stuff for protection of the president.

00:07:15
Speaker 1: He said.

00:07:15
Speaker 2: Quote at the speech last night, he said, he told his Secret Service, let's keep it secret. They said, no, no, we're telling you, sir, let's keep it a secret. He's making light of the fact that he's the one always popping off at the mouth in front of a microphone. That was another acknowledgment of him talking too damn much and saying too much. I thought, once again, Robes a surprisingly well done self deprecating joke.

00:07:40
Speaker 3: I agree, he did weave some of those in there, which are rare, but when he did it, it was amazing how charming he then became in those moments.

00:07:48
Speaker 4: If he would only do that more often.

00:07:49
Speaker 2: He's an entertainer, and last night he showed a lot of that last night.

00:07:55
Speaker 3: Yes, and this one is pretty funny. I liked this one a lot. This next one, he said, the it's been so successful he's talking about when he says it's so successful that. I've been informed by CBS News David Ellison, who's going to do a fantastic job.

00:08:11
Speaker 4: He's the owner. He's the owner.

00:08:13
Speaker 3: He bought it, spent a lot of money, and he's going to make I think, fantastic changes and keep some of the great stuff going. But that next year they're going to call it the Trump White House Correspondence Center. He told me that, and I like that very much, to be honest, it's only about it's about the only way they're going to ever get me back there.

00:08:31
Speaker 4: You're going to have to change the name of the dinner.

00:08:34
Speaker 2: Again again, a very difficult, divisive topic in headlines.

00:08:41
Speaker 1: He took it rolled and made a little light.

00:08:43
Speaker 2: Of it, even when he called David Ellison, CBS News David Ellison, that's hilarious.

00:08:49
Speaker 1: And he knew that. Oh it.

00:08:52
Speaker 2: The people in the room, they as that he is the CEO or the chairman of paramount, right, they bought all that. He's not supposed to be in charge. Oh that was a well done. That was a good joke, mister President.

00:09:07
Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, Okay, here's my favorite joke of the night. I think everyone knows the story about RFKA Junior basically talking about like killing.

00:09:20
Speaker 4: Beasts and then eating them, right.

00:09:23
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he didn't kill that one though.

00:09:25
Speaker 3: That one he ran over, right, it was it was roadkill or something. He brought it with him. I thought it was something like that and then threw it in the park. It was confusing anyway, you know the story for it's Yes, so he says, I hope that everybody finally got to enjoy their entire very delicious beef tender loins, very special beef. And I want you all to know that Bobby Kennedy who's right here, personally ran over the cow in his car boom and he cut it up and brought it here for you to eat tonight, so it's very fresh.

00:09:52
Speaker 1: That's pretty good joke. I loved that one. I didn't get to see what the this is one I did.

00:10:01
Speaker 2: I don't remember the reaction in the room when this one when that joke was told, But that joke is spot on there. They're able right now so far. Oh they were able to thread the needle just right, and a lot of stories. Now it gets a little ugly.

00:10:15
Speaker 4: Yes, yes, he goes after a very familiar foe.

00:10:18
Speaker 3: He says, so, I remember just before I came along, if you wanted to see someone lose consciousness on the south lawn. He was coming off of talking with the UFC fights, so he's talking about how all of that was going on in the South lawn. So before I came along, if you wanted to see someone lose consciousness on the south lawn of the White House, all you had to do is ask Joe Biden a question.

00:10:37
Speaker 4: They'd remember that. Oh you think I'm kidding.

00:10:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, but it also is in line robes. He used something in the headlines. Again, I don't know who wrote this thing, but they are Okay. Now it gets ugly er. So he starts on. After mentioning the UFC, he goes along a little bit of a theme and saying we're going to do these fights every fo night, every Saturday night. And then he starts on going after media members and saying he's gonna pit different media members against each other in some of these fights. So with that in mind, he starts going after people in the little nastier way.

00:11:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, he talked about the heaviest of the heavyweights, and he referenced sloppy Chris Christy one of the sloppiest human beings.

00:11:20
Speaker 4: You'll ever meet fighting, he said.

00:11:22
Speaker 3: I would say I could mention the governor of Chicago, but instead I'm gonna mention Jerry Nadler. And they're fighting for a big piece of cheesecake, big fat piece of cheesecake.

00:11:32
Speaker 4: Who the hell wrote that line?

00:11:34
Speaker 2: That added part at the end, that'll know. But yeah, it's just when you make fun of people's weight. And the president himself, I mean, according to his own doctor's report, is obese, so it's weird he does, goes this line and calls them sloppy, and the fighting over cheese ites that's not even.

00:11:49
Speaker 3: No, it's funny. It's cringey, is what it is. It makes you feel uncomfortable and not in a good way. And then he went off on his typical He had a lot of targets, and among them, Bruce Spring says the same thing he's been saying, What the hell happened to that guy?

00:12:03
Speaker 4: He looks like, hell, I don't care what anyone says. I'm sneezing.

00:12:08
Speaker 3: Sorry, I'm not supposed to say. I'm sure he doesn't like the way I look, but I don't look so bad. Now he's getting back to the typical Trump stuff.

00:12:16
Speaker 1: But it's a weird thing.

00:12:17
Speaker 2: Even young men aren't supposed to get on in publican and say, yeah, I look better than that man who does that.

00:12:22
Speaker 1: It's a weird thing for a.

00:12:23
Speaker 4: Strange thing to do, but that is what Trump has done.

00:12:25
Speaker 1: He did. It was Jane Fonda was mentioned in there somewhere Rosi o'donald.

00:12:29
Speaker 2: He went on some typical of what you would expect, and also the next one here he went after the comedians that he always has been going after he's talking about the association decided not to have a comedian like the White House Correspondence often dinner often does. But he said, quote, they considered using Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy fallon these guys. They're terrible. They're terrible, Stephen Colbert. These are people without talent. They get a lot, they have talent. You know who has talent, their agent getting them the amount of money they get. They have no talent. But they are not comedians. They're not funny. They're angry people. They're sick people. That doesn't feel like a joke. I just feels like he's actually mad at these guys.

00:13:03
Speaker 3: Absolutely, and then and he said, and so they thought about going with a professional clown for entertainment, but Adam Shifty Shift was not available.

00:13:14
Speaker 2: I didn't completely mind that, But then it got to a point in the neck as he continues his insult to this guy that I'm just not comfortable with my president saying this kind of stuff.

00:13:24
Speaker 4: Yes, and this made a lot of headlines.

00:13:25
Speaker 3: And again, I feel like he did a good job with several jokes and when he went for the obvious, or he went for the uncomfortable, fine, but when he starts going after people's physical looks, that's when people get uncomfortable, and that's when it's not okay. That's not what you want to hear from your president. So he went on about Adam Shift to say, I hate some people. You know, I shouldn't say this. I'm president. I'm not supposed to hate him. I'm supposed to love everybody. But he's a terrible person. He's a liar. And I call him watermelon Head because he has the largest head I've ever seen with the smallest neck, pencil neck. How does that big, fat, ugly head stand on a little pencil neck? That is not That is not funny to listen to.

00:14:10
Speaker 1: Uh, that's not even funny.

00:14:11
Speaker 2: It's uh, it's schoolyard, young young schoolyardy, elementary school yard. It's bizarred that he would go after him in that way he did. I thought this was funny. The Oz Pearlman, I think is the mentalist, the guy who was the entertainment there. He spoke about him, and this was funny. He said, I do have one question about what happened that time meeting, the last dinner, because you were there, How the hell did you not see that coming? He sees everything, He sees everything. He's telling me about your grandmother. You this, Why the hell didn't we Well, I've got to ask him the question when he gets up here, why didn't he see that coming?

00:14:43
Speaker 1: That's funny.

00:14:43
Speaker 2: We got a mentalist who can see things, but you didn't know a gunman was running through the lobby.

00:14:47
Speaker 1: That's not a bad joke.

00:14:48
Speaker 3: You.

00:14:49
Speaker 4: I do appreciate that one, all right.

00:14:51
Speaker 3: And then he talks about, of course, this evening is really about the fake news media, and you're a handling of prizes writing and producing and performing made up stories like the Academy Awards.

00:15:03
Speaker 2: Yes, and he was just getting warmed up, and he turned his sighte to several specific media personalities and frankly Robes. As we know, it just wasn't funny. Stay here, all right, We continue here on Amy and TJ, President of the United States, at the White House correspondence dinner. This was his I guess, robes second appearance, but first speech.

00:15:37
Speaker 3: Yes, yes, he had an appearance during President Obama's Oh no, no, no, I.

00:15:42
Speaker 1: Meant he attended in April.

00:15:44
Speaker 2: Oh oh right, okay, but right, that was his first time attending as president.

00:15:49
Speaker 4: As president absolutely absolutely.

00:15:51
Speaker 2: He got to make a speech. I guess he was shopping at the bit to do so. Robes, he went after several media personalities. I don't know what his deal is necessarily with Kitlyn Collins, but he found a way to get really mean. It could have he could have left it at one spot that we understand she doesn't smile. He always, or he's talked about that in the past. Robes, this was his worst.

00:16:12
Speaker 1: Of the night.

00:16:13
Speaker 3: I agree, because he has before obviously talked about how she never fought a smiles. First of all, he congratulated her on an award with heavy sarcasm because he said it was fake because it was all about him. And then he said she's a young attractive woman. She never smiles. I said, Caitlyn, do you ever smile?

00:16:30
Speaker 4: Smile?

00:16:31
Speaker 3: You have a nice position, You're at CNN, fake news. You should be a happy person. So smile, Caitlyn, just smile. And this is where it went. It turned incredibly ugly, but we attack and I thought Caitlyn had really made it big with a major news sponsorship. But then I informed her that it wasn't her on the bud Light can it was Dylan mulvaney. And Dylan mulvaney costs bud Light thirty five billion dollars in market capital.

00:16:53
Speaker 2: Okay, do people understand right there already right who Dylan mulvaney is as we get ready to read the rest of this robes dylanand is a trans influencer that Buttweiser used as part of a promotion. Was it during the Super Bowl? It wasn't a commercial. It was like a I think it was even an online ad or online sponsorship. But Dylan mulvaney lost all kinds of upheaval and really a nasty press debate robes it was Maga versus right, and everybody's mad because they would dare use a trans influencer. So the President here is comparing Caitlyn Collins to this trans influencer, So that is where he picked up. I couldn't believe.

00:17:38
Speaker 4: No, it was awful on multiple levels.

00:17:40
Speaker 3: Obviously, they don't even need to be explained that you just a comparing how someone looks to anyone is one thing. Comparing somebody to someone who you're actually implying as an insult, You're insulting both people and a whole section of folks in this country. It's just awful on every level. That was the lowest blow of them all. That was the most difficult one. And then he went from there to insult as you mentioned, so many of his political full.

00:18:11
Speaker 2: Fo oh no, I'm so sorry to doctor that. I wanted to finish the Dylan. I was just just saying who Dylan mulvaney was. I don't know if that was immediately Sorry, sorry.

00:18:18
Speaker 3: Okay, So he said it wasn't her on the bud Light can it was Dylan mulvaney, and Dylan mulvaney costs bud Light thirty five billion dollars in market cap.

00:18:26
Speaker 4: That was the worst commercial ever made.

00:18:28
Speaker 3: By the way, for those few people that want to hear that, most people don't care, but I would. I wouldn't want to hire Dylan anytime soon.

00:18:37
Speaker 4: Think of it.

00:18:38
Speaker 3: They hired Dylan mulvaney. Their market cap has gone down by thirty five billion dollars. Who wrote that commercial?

00:18:45
Speaker 1: That was just a complete insult to the LGBTQ plus Can.

00:18:47
Speaker 2: You just absolutepleete insult these people cost you that?

00:18:53
Speaker 1: That was an awful night.

00:18:54
Speaker 2: Like I was riding with him on several jokes and even surprise and gave him credit.

00:18:57
Speaker 1: This was terrible.

00:19:00
Speaker 4: Yeah, it just it makes you almost want to leave the room.

00:19:02
Speaker 1: It's that bad, Yeah, because.

00:19:04
Speaker 3: You're like to sit there and a lot look, and we should say there were a lot of folks who didn't go. There were a lot of people who urged the White House Correspondence Press Association to disassociate themselves, to not go through with this dinner, to not stand next to, to rub elbows with and dine alongside somebody who has constantly insulted and frankly put First Amendment rights up in the air. So look, there was a huge outcry before the dinner and hearing a joke like that, ooh, that's tough to justify being in the room.

00:19:38
Speaker 2: You're in the room and you're supposed to what smile, clap, applaud politely? What are you supposed to do when you hear something you would never volunteer?

00:19:46
Speaker 4: You turn that with silence ropes.

00:19:47
Speaker 2: You would never voluntarily go to sit and listen to that. No, you wouldn't. If you knew the kind of things, you would never listen to that.

00:19:55
Speaker 1: So that was one that was worthy of walking out of the room. I would have supported that sucks.

00:19:59
Speaker 2: You try to to be respectful, but Bro, that was disrespectful.

00:20:03
Speaker 4: It was the only way to put it and offensive.

00:20:06
Speaker 2: Uh.

00:20:07
Speaker 1: Yes.

00:20:07
Speaker 3: So he then continued some of his insults towards Gavin.

00:20:12
Speaker 4: Newsom, which was a lot of time.

00:20:14
Speaker 1: Gavin, he but he.

00:20:15
Speaker 3: Thinks that's going to be the guy who's running for president, right, So he said, I was disappointed Gavin Newsom didn't show up.

00:20:22
Speaker 4: He didn't show up. He should be here.

00:20:23
Speaker 3: But I heard that he recently said that we will lose our country if we don't fight fire with fire. And to be fair, there's only one thing we know about Gavin, and that's he that he definitely doesn't want to fight fire with water.

00:20:34
Speaker 1: Baby. That was that.

00:20:36
Speaker 4: That was good.

00:20:37
Speaker 1: That might have been the joke of the night. That was good. It that was a so hard, that was a that was an uppercut, that.

00:20:44
Speaker 2: Was a that was that was the best comedian written joke. Like you could hear a Chappelle deliver that joke. What I mean is they don't care about you know, you supposed to not pull punches. You're supposed to get They went after a legitimate criticism of Gavin Newsom. Yes, he doesn't fight fire with water. Holy hell, that was what that might be. What's well done?

00:21:08
Speaker 3: Agreed, and then he said Newsom was in big trouble when he openly admitted that Kamala was smarter than him.

00:21:13
Speaker 4: He said, Kamala is smarter.

00:21:15
Speaker 3: If Kamala is smarter than someone, then you don't want that person to be president of the United States.

00:21:20
Speaker 1: Sound like an SNL joke, But this is good. I give him credit.

00:21:23
Speaker 4: That's okay, Oh my goodness. Oh yeah.

Speaker 3: And then he he talked a lot about his importance to the press and how we need him. Basically, he said, but you people, also, anytime anyone starts any sentence with you people, it's going to be offensive, but pay attention, like which ones he's talking about But you people have no idea how lucky you are. When I'm gone, you're all going to be broke. Your business model is going to be finished.

00:21:49
Speaker 4: No, it's true.

00:21:50
Speaker 3: When I'm not around, you're going to be broke. There's not going to be anybody to report on. Nobody gives a damn about anybody else.

00:21:58
Speaker 1: I'm not mad at that line.

00:21:59
Speaker 3: That's tonight to show you just how much I care about the press and I want to save your ratings. I'm pleased to announce my intention too, and this is somewhat of a scoop, my intention to run for a fourth term as President of the United States.

00:22:12
Speaker 4: I will be doing that. That was funny with the fourth term.

00:22:15
Speaker 2: There are some people in that room who would love for him too. You and I were apart and deep into network news when this guy decided to run, and all through all of his running, and we saw how networks behaved. People got hired, jobs were created in DC, people beefed up their bureaus, and we at GMA were taking this dude at the top of the show for phone interviews.

00:22:38
Speaker 3: George Tefanopoulos interviewed Trump almost every day, and we would have to blow up our rundown. We'd be sitting on the set and supposed to be going to other stories, but of course Trump was Trump, and so our executive producer would be in our ears saying, keep it going, George, keep it going.

00:22:53
Speaker 2: Or look, that is a legit line he delivered. So as much as the press hates this guy, they need him to talk and they need him to create headline. I am sorry. That is a true statement. We have seen it play out time and again, no matter how much they hate him. Robes that du is creating business for a lot of folks.

00:23:13
Speaker 3: Yes, but the fourth term thing was hilarious because he obviously is referencing the fact that he won twenty twenty as well. He did go on to say, I hope we're having an official In fact, I think I have. Yeah, I won three times. Now I'm going to do it again. Thank you, I'm going to do it again. It should be easy. I'm getting very good at running for president now one three times did very well.

00:23:33
Speaker 4: The second time. By the way, twenty.

00:23:36
Speaker 2: Yes, Probes, they got some nasty moments. He mentioned a few other media members. It wasn't new stuff necessarily before, but generally speaking, Robes he had some that I thought really worked, and I thought it was effect of whoever did write some of this stuff.

00:23:52
Speaker 3: Yeah, brobo I would have, but it did go to show just a few times he was willing to be self deprecating, how much you're willing to kind of just get give him a break or give him a pass.

00:24:02
Speaker 4: And if he would just do that more and do a little less mean.

00:24:05
Speaker 3: Spirited physically describing folks as just awful in awful ways and awful terms and awful comparisons. It's just it's just you can see how good it could be if he took and used his talent for good. You say this all the time, instead of using it for other purposes.

00:24:24
Speaker 2: Oh, if he's a producer, he's a TV producer, he's an entertainer. He might frankly, if he used his powers for good, would could take this presidency in a direction in or a way with online with media, with production, with social media.

00:24:36
Speaker 1: The guy's good at that thing. He's just good.

00:24:41
Speaker 2: He showed He showed it last night, and it showed us what we could have had a celebrity, business and philanthropic kind president. Imagine that he has the skills we've never seen before in a President babe, and he's he's not using them for good all.

00:24:59
Speaker 4: The no, no, ain't ego. Something just gets in the way every time.

00:25:04
Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah with that, folks, I always appreciate Just want to hop on and give you those updates highlights and think you'd go back and listen to the whole hour long speech, so enjoy.

00:25:13
