BREAKING: Trump Announces Greenland Deal, Tariffs Cancelled

Trump wouldn’t get into the details, saying only that the “solution will be a great one for the United States” and that he’s dropping the tariffs scheduled for next month. Meantime, press secretary Karoline Leavitt denied to reporters that Trump accidentally referred to Greenland as Iceland multiple times in his speech earlier in the day, despite the fact that President Trump ABSOLUTELY said Iceland. We all heard it.

So that is what the New York Times is reporting this compromise is. And look, the President would not get specific, and that's what the reporters kept asking, what are the details, what is this plan?

Carolyn Levitt takes this post, reposts it and says, no, he didn't. Libby his written remarks referred to Greenland as a piece of ice, because that's what it is.
