And after she did that last Thursday, which was June eleventh, I believe in eleventh, she was then reported missing the next day and a search robes has been going on the past week, and that is what's been making a lot of headlines for the past week week.

Her people, family members, friends would talk about this person as being basically in need, like you knew that your friend might have been in trouble. In fact, even when we heard about the young man who wandered off in Kyoto, his mother said he was in emotional distress. None of that was said about this young woman. Look, I've even said that I am always thankful that my daughters have roommates, and the idea of any one of my daughter's living alone scares the heck out of me, because part of it is knowing that someone is going to be expecting them to come home, and if they don't, immediate action can be taken. So yes, and so they were looking, so they all of a sudden they're like, what's happening because they could see from the ring camera. So then she pulled it up, brought her husband over and said, look at what's going on right now?

Police basically said, yes, we've got to do the actual official identification, but it looks like they have found Elena Catherine Moore and she is deceased. We don't know how she died, we don't know when she died, and we're waiting for a lot of information to fill in those blanks. But this is interesting. We talked about the husband. He waited a day for whatever reason, to report her missing, but he's being harassed apparently on Facebook for not sharing more information on social media. People have an expectation about how a grieving husband should act, what he should do, especially when his wife has been missing and they've only been married for a year. But you always say this obviously, and he knows he's going to be the biggest suspect. They're going to have to clear him completely, and he has to know that. As a form or police officer, I would say it's not suspicious that he's not sharing things on social media. He knows damn well that he has to be ruled out.

Speaker 1: And she wasn't trying to steal the food because if she wanted to, she would have just left. Why is she knocking on a stranger's door waiting for them to answer, just so she can deliver their food to them? And this happened one week before she went missing. This is that video is just bizarre. So whatever that could suggest, that video doesn't suggest someone who's doing well in that moment with whatever is going on. That was not normal. That was disturbing.

Speaker 2: So as you might imagine, there are all sorts of theories going and running wild online. When we come back, we're going to tell you what her husband has been facing and what we know about something he said about his wife that got deleted. We'll tell you about that when we come back. Welcome back everyone to this episode of Amy and TJ. We are talking about a confusing and mysterious story out of South Carolina, a thirty nine year old wife and personal trainer went missing. She was last seen exactly one week ago. Today, a body has now been found in a wooded area that resembles her, wearing the same clothing that she was wearing when she was last seen. Police basically said, yes, we've got to do the actual official identification, but it looks like they have found Elena Catherine Moore and she is deceased. We don't know how she died, we don't know when she died, and we're waiting for a lot of information to fill in those blanks. But this is interesting. We talked about the husband. He waited a day for whatever reason, to report her missing, but he's being harassed apparently on Facebook for not sharing more information on social media. People have an expectation about how a grieving husband should act, what he should do, especially when his wife has been missing and they've only been married for a year. But you always say this obviously, and he knows he's going to be the biggest suspect. They're going to have to clear him completely, and he has to know that. As a form or police officer, I would say it's not suspicious that he's not sharing things on social media. He knows damn well that he has to be ruled out.

Speaker 2: I think a police officer not necessarily going online. And I mean maybe the not asking for help for your missing wife, that might that is a little bizarre. But maybe he was just being careful because anything you say and do can be held against you. If you think that somehow you're going to do something that raises suspicion, or you say something that people don't like, probably best to say nothing at all.

Speaker 2: Well, well, I haven't seen anything anywhere that he's something public, and I do know that people are coming after him for not having done so. Now Fox News is reporting that the husband wrote in a comment on a since deleted post by someone else about her disappearance that his wife was quote not well. So then he deleted it, but that popped up and Fox News said they have a screen grab of it. So that is literally, from what I could find out, the only thing that he has said and he deleted it, and that would imply that she was going through some sort of mental issue.

Speaker 2: She was She did not talk about any personal problems, she didn't talk about any professional problems. She was not in any way, shape or form showing warning signs of distress. And they were super confused.

Speaker 1: Okay, I don't know it. I don't know. He should have been loud. I should know his name, his face. That's why I'm looking. I saw his name, like wit. Okay, yeah, I just if this has become a national story, you would expect. Please, somebody helped me screaming at the mountaintops. He knows how this goes as a former police officer and how important that is. So but I can't. I don't know what people go through and when your wife is missing, so I can't. He's a PI, But I'm glad. I can't fault him for what emotionally he might feel, right when it's now him in that position. So I don't want to judge anybody he certainly don't want to judge anybody for that.

Speaker 2: No, I get that, and I think that's only fair. We obviously have to always leave room for there to be another explanation, and Jesus, this is so strange. We are absolutely going to stay on top of the story because it's just taken a couple turns that I don't think anybody expected, especially that that ring camera footage, the lack of information coming from the husband, and now knowing that a body has been found, but we have no idea in what condition, so we will obviously stay on top of this story for you.
