Listener Reviews

Awesome podcast
Marc is a great podcaster. He is emotionally open and is a great sharer. He has awesome guests.
Good pod
Great interviews.
This was the Podcast version of "That's Entertainment "
Great rap and reminiscing to learn of Gilbert's early days and on. Thanks for replaying it Marc. I really had some deep laughs with this one!
Best interviewer in the game
I’ve listened for years and think Marc is hands down the best interviewer there is. His curiosity and compassion are limitless.
Loved it!
Listen to Marc and Harvey Fierstein ! My favorite so far !
Marc Maron
I love the interviews! He really and truthfully inhabits the Bios of his guests. I would love to do Premium, but I listen to all Podcasts on Apple, even ones I pay for. I would love to have access to his Library, but I don’t want to join yet another‘ station’. Why can’t Premium also be offered through Apple? Mark must have enough clout to call his own shots!! I look forward to every episode and find most exceptionally educational. Bonnie Raitt for example. Learned so much!! Mark isa superb interviewer, even with all the Tsuris and mischigas!!EllenOakland, CA
Unique and awesome
Marc gets to the heart of who he is interviewing. These are great conversations. Real humanity. These are not fluff interviews of people pushing their latest project, these are conversations with artists who you come to understand because Marc gets out of the way and let’s them speak. I’m finished with the free stuff, I’m jumping into the paid archive. Good job, Marc. I really appreciate what you’re doing. Tim G

One of the best to ever podcast
Love the Show
Long time listener. Love the show. Great guests!
I wish she wouldn’t play the guitar out of the end… It would be a five star review otherwise.
The guitar is just too much and too long. Just stop, or don’t play as long, please.
Gratitude
I’m thankful to have a podcast to listen to that feels like connecting with a friend, and more particularly a program friend. Thanks Marc for making your podcast feel like home.
Picks you up and drops in right beside them
I have listened to a few hundred episodes of this podcast and Mark never fails to get me in the room alongside the guest, up close, listening and experiencing the conversation. I have taken you with me in the car across the UK, on the tube in London, at home and in the garden. From Obama to Bruce and Kate Blanchette to Daniel Kaluuya. Comedians, actors, musicians and writers. Fascinating insights. You have turned me on to so many TV shows, books, films and albums I think you’ve influenced my taste! Cheers. A must add to your regular podcast collection.
Fan for years
Is interviewing style is relaxed and easy and gets the best from his guests.
The Lakewoods are the best band ever!
And this podcast is great!
Great host
Marc is a natural. You know why? He lets the guest talk and doesn’t talk over anyone or pretend he knows everything. If he doesn’t know it, he tells the person and they explain a topic. Good conversational flow!
Great!
Maron is a natural conversationalist and the chats are human, funny, emotional, passionate and engaged. A really cool archive of interesting people of the early 21st century
Smart
Marc Maron knows a lot about a lot! He asks deep and thoughtful questions and is self deprecating. He’s an intelligent man with a talent for connecting with his guests and listeners.
Great interviews
Mainly, Personal and easy talks. Intros can be long if he’s feeling the Democratic outrage. Otherwise, mostly level headed ,great questions and easy going conversations. Guitar riffs at the end are really jamming again!
You know this show is fantastic
You know it already, it’s fantastic
Guillermo del Toro was great
Genuine connection. I love it when that happens.
Old Flat Top
Lennon got the line about flat top from “You Can’t Catch Me” by Chuck Berry. Berry successfully reached a publishing settlement with Lennon and the song’s owners.
Love this podcast
I’m not kidding when I say I genuinely look forward to every Monday and Thursday because I know that there will be some really candid conversation with a really interesting guest and some rockin’ guitar playing at the end. Keep up the great work, Marc!

He is such a pompous bore
Marc is the best
And it sounds like he’s getting better at guitar every day.
