Marc has the gift of gab and the gift of getting his guests to feel at ease and to open up. His interviews feel more like conversations rather than run of the mill Q and A’s. I love this podcast !

I've listened to a few and it's been really good, but the Benedict Cumberbatch interview was maddening! Marc kept jumping in before Benedict could finish. I think he was intimidated, maybe? Too much re-direction of the line of questioning when BC was trying to answer a question.

Marc’s natural ability to chat with ANYBODY and allow them to relax and open up is remarkable. His insight is on target. He is gracious, yet honest—that can be a tightrope walk. After an hour listening to his WTF interview, I am intrigued to learn more about someone in the future. It makes me feel like I know more about the person and it adds much more to any project in which the artist has been or will be involved. Many thanks

Fantastic podcast! Just wish there was more of a back-catalog to browse thru. Only 60 shows here. Just realized there’s a paywall on his website if you’re trying to find older shows. Oh well 😕

It’s like dropping in on a private conversation. Two people getting to know each other. There’s always that moment when the guest warms up and eases into it and it’s just sublime.

Marc has got me through for years. This podcast is legendary for a reason.

Better than all the rest.

This is the only podcast I listen to. Was great for commute, now I listen on my walks around the neighborhood (until plague ends and commute returns). Marc's conversations are always funny and interesting. Sure, he has his schtick, but he is engaging and really good at it. Doesn't ever feel forced or chaotic. Never boring, unlike most other podcasts.

I listen to these while driving, or doing the usual day to day chore stuff and always learn something new or have a new appreciation for an upcoming film/music/etc. Thank you Marc

Your show on comedy censorship was your best show by far. I love your celebrity interviews. They are some of the most in-depth interesting interviews out there! But the comedy history lesson and the diversity of the examples utilized was one of your best researched shows. On par with a broadcast by NPR.

The Cumberbatch interview was hard to listen to because y’all were talking over each other. I love the podcast, and always will, but if you could let the guests get their ideas out completely it would add a lot to the interview.

I’m a swimmer and listen to the podcast while I’m in the pool. Sometimes it’s hard and cold but because I want to hear the podcast, I swim. Thanks, Marc, for keeping me underwater!
