Listener Reviews

Wildfires report 5 years late
As a resident of the Pacific NW , this report rang hollow and seemed to ignore geographic size and expansive area in which the wild fires from California , Oregon , Washington state and British Columbia have been dealing with for the last five years and the flooding that comes with it in the off seasons. This report about the effects of wild fires on the American NE did very little to educate that population. Hopefully we can unify against climate change with better reporting in the future. ( before it is too late .
Not what it once was?
When Post Reports featured 1-3 short stories each day, I favored it over The Daily. Once it switched to one story, and lost Martine Powers as the main host, I stopped listening regularly, and switched to Seven & The Daily. The stories aren’t as up-to-date as they used to be either.

Great material to be used in the EFL classroom
I have been listening to these podcasts for some time now and have become addicted to them. I work with teacher development and have helped them use this invaluable resource with more advanced groups. There is so much that can be explored in every and each episode in terms of ideas and language. In a nutshell, meaningful and relevant material.
Excellent daily Podcast
Thanks for keeping me informed!
Excellent news podcast
Great on topic news podcast. Expected nothing less from WP ☺️
Timely headlines explained
I listen on my commute and I think the do a good job of covering top headlines. The stories are told in a left leaning way which doesn’t bother me because this is not my only news source. The hosts are empathetic to the struggles from the subjects of their stories.
Journalism takes time.
Thank you for the great journalism and taking me inside the story to get an unbiased view of a story in the headlines or below the fold.
Perfect News for the Commute
Post Reports is great for the evening commute. I know I’ll catch the major headlines from the Post and other news sources throughout the day, but don’t necessarily have time to deep dive into articles. Post Reports gives me greater insight into the day’s big headlines or other feature pieces I wish I had time to read but know I won’t actually get around to.
Post Reports
I enjoy listening to Post Reports in the morning as I get ready for the day. Quality stories, well researched and well told, your dedicated reporting keeps me in touch and up-to-date on major issues. Thank you!!!
Love this podcast
Post Reports has become my major news source everyday. Good to know what’s going on around the world and would appreciate more Asian coverage if possible!
Love the variety of stories!!
As a fellow journalist (unpaid freelance) I really enjoy hearing about these stories without all the “OMG we’re doomed!!” We get from the cable news machine. Just reporters talking about what they’ve seen and giving both sides a chance to be heard, whether they agree or not.
I
appreciate the podcast and the effort it takes to create it. I noticed that the „old white man“ phrase gets thrown around a lot and I hope that at some point, there will be an awareness that casual racism doesn’t help creating a better future.
Episode about surviving school mass shootings…
Impressive. If this doesn’t convince US politicians to act, I don’t know what else can 😔
Survivors of school shootings
Every NRA member & Republican in congress opposed to gun control needs to be made to listen to this. Simply heartbreaking
Vital reporting
This podcast is a must-listen five times a week. It goes behind the headlines and digs deep into the a different story each day. Today’s episode, “What It’s Like to Survive a School Shooting,” gives a perspective that isn’t often shared — that of a survivor of the Uvalde mass shooting who endured the hour-plus horror and listed to 18 of her classmates — including her best friend — die. This 10-year-old girl speaks in her own words, and her mother and the reporter, who spent months with her and her family tell this difficult but essential story. I highly recommend Post Reports. You never know what you’re going to get, but know that it’s something you really should know and that just might even give you a new perspective.
Excellent, and constantly improving.
Great work! The only rub is this is run by evil sociopathic fascist Jeff Bezos.
The sound of laughter
“Laughter is the brush that sweeps away the cobwebs of your heart…”More of Elahe’s laugh please. lol
Stunned!
I listened to the episode out of concern for my young daughter’s use of her phone… I walked away with a new way to look at my ADHD issues through the lens of stochastic resonance, a concept I had once studied in a past life - stochastic resonance! Wow, just wow, thanks for the surprising new perspective across all topics.
Trump
So what.He is and has been a joke his entire life
Logo
The logo change totally threw me off and I forgot about your podcast until today.
Centrist and cowardly
I thought your portrayal of Howard Schultz was a disappointment. You whitewash issues, making evil people seem compassionate just because your reporters have the privilege and means to spend time with them. You ignore all of our impending death from climate change. And shame on you, because if you whitewash things, centrists will.
Great show
I listen to this all the time!
K Sheard
I listen nightly as this podcast is informative and professional as it gets.
