“Post Reports” is a good answer to NYT’s “The Daily” and NPR’s “Up First.” “The Daily 202” just isn’t interesting or relevant to me. This podcast has a smart host, captivating stories, and catchy music. The evening release time of the podcast in the Midwest is great for listeners wanting to an update on the morning news in the evening.
Everything about this podcast feels top notch, the interviewing/reporting, the production/editing. It' a pleasure to listen to, and helpful in understanding the daily events of the world at a deeper level.
This has fast become my favorite news podcast...if you're tired of the endless political back and forth about our dysfunctional political system...THIS is a breath of fresh air.. just tday they had the restaurant critic about cheap eats,.. their tech reporter and Deepak Chopra on how he uses todays tech...and more...A MUST for me!!!!!
I absolutely LOVE Post Reports! I listen to it every day and I enjoy hearing the reporters perspective behind the stories they wrote! Great job by Martine Powers and her team at the Washington Post!
It’s only in its first week, but the production value - particularly for a daily podcast - is off the charts. Tons of work is going into these episodes, and it shows. I have no idea if they can keep it up, but at least for now, it’s fantastic.
