Listener Reviews

Appreciation post
It’s emotional for me to listen to the last ever episode of the podcast. Post Reports has been on my daily podcast routine, and I will miss it. Thank you to everyone who worked on it
Sad to see Post Reports go
Hope that the Washington Post can find another owner that actually cares about educating and informing people while supporting the journalists that do the hard work to produce the news. Thank you to the Washington Post journalists that worked tirelessly to inform us.
So Sorry to See You Go!
I’ve been a faithful listener for the past 7 years or so. Post Reports was such an important supplement to my favorite journal, The Wash Post. I felt a terrible foreboding when the by line, “Democracy Dies In Darkness”, disappeared. It was Jeff Bezos’ not-so-subtle clue as to what he had planned. I’m so sad and worried. I wish you all well and will look for you reporting the facts elsewhere.
Going to miss this show
The Post Reports was in my daily rotation. It’s really unfortunate this historical institution of the Washington Post is being run to the ground by the book licking incompetence of the current ownership/management. I hope there are brighter days ahead for the post with a different ownership.
Sorry to lose this excellent show
Saddened to learn that WaPo has shut down Post Reports. You e been a great companion for 7 years — I remember some of those ‘home closet’ episodes. Hate to lose all these talented female journalists in my ear every day.
By far one of the best reporting
This podcast is reliably interesting and informative. Im upset with Bezos for pulling the plug on some of the best reporting in podcasting.
Will the podcast be archived?
Hi, I am wondering if the shows, especially the Maurice Bishop doc that Martine Powers published, are going to disappear or if they will continue to be available. Thanks for your great work. Robert Curley, Guadalajara Mexico
Reporting the madness
Your podcast is so good at reporting and explaining facts on the world’s current affairs. The work has been outstanding. DEMOCRACY DIES IN DARKNESS. Until we meet again, let her buck.
Please bring it back NOW!
Legit the only reason I subscribe to the Washington Post. I absolutely love this podcast!! You bring some of the best reporting ever!!!!! I’m so sad to hear this end. I love you all and Martin Powers, thank you! You’re voice has guided me through so many world events. So much love to all of you. 🙌🏽
A Sad Goodbye
Thank you everyone who put your heart & sole into telling relevant stories & getting the word out. I’ve listened to your podcast daily for years! So sad this has been suspended! I wish all of you the best in life! Keep up the great work!
Gutted
I’m absolutely gutted that Bezos took my favorite podcast away.
Miss you already!
Being a regular listener of this show for the last 6 years has been a joy. I hope to hear these voices in another podcast feed sometime soon, I’ll to follow you wherever you end up. Thank you thank you thank you!
Bezos Cannot Stop Ruining Our Nation
I loved this show. I loved the brave and intelligent journalists who worked tirelessly. When I heard the incredible episode about January 6, I became a loyal listener. Bezos and his ilk are further strangling free speech. Anyone still holding on to Amazon Prime is part of the problem.
So long!
Great job done! And thanks for all the reports!
I will miss you!
I’m incredibly sad to see this show come to a end. I’ve listened to every single episode since the beginning and it has meant so much to me. Congratulations to the entire Post Reports team on the amazing work you have done. I’ll truly miss you all, and I’m wishing each of you so much success in whatever comes next.
Goodbye
This podcast was music to my ears when I started my car after work everyday. I’ll miss you all so much !!
Grateful for all of you
Thank you for sharing your talents with us. Looking forward to hearing more from you all wherever you land your next gig. xo
RIP TWP
There is a special place in hell for Jeff Bozo! One of the great newspapers of our time has been hijacked by a billionaire lacking honor and scruples. Long live Woodward, Bernstein, Bradlee, Simons, Graham and countless others who built this amazing paper and subsequent entities!
Will miss you
Always looked forward to the afternoon report and your voices. Hope to hear you again here or where you land.
Great show sad to see it go
I’m saddened by the loss of information caused by this administration and billionaires. We are less for it. I wish you the best in your endeavors and I wish us luck to rebuild networks of knowledge
Tell me it isn’t true!!
I am horrified that the post is eliminating this wonderful podcast. You guys have been by my side for over 5 years and I will miss your engaging, insightful reporting. You should consider leaving the post and continuing the podcast on your own.
So sad to see you go
You will be missed! Thank you for your excellent reporting and storytelling over the years.
Excellent reporting - already deeply missed
Bezos, as selfish & greedy as ever, ignorantly strikes again and drove WP into the ground.
Sad to Lose this Pod
It’s very sad to see Jeff Bezos gutting such an institution as the Washington Post. The $75+ million wasted on Melania’s vanity project should have been put into the Post. If I hadn’t canceled my Amazon Prime last January, I’d do it now.
