Hello Carolina Catholic Family!

Here's what's happening this week at Carolina Catholic Media...

On the international front, we are going to provide EWTN's The World Over with Raymond Orroyo as a regular feature here. It may be the most important hour you spend for a truly Catholic perspective on the most important issues of the week.

Locally, as we intensify our efforts to provide local coverage on hot button Respect Life issues like Human Trafficking, I'm delighted to announce that Kara Griffin will be joining us as a regular Carolina Catholic Media Contributor. Kara is a Lay member, US Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking and Member of the CCDOC Human Trafficking Awareness Committee. Kara will assist in orchestrating topics, conversations and interviews about human trafficking and the Catholics response to this fast growing criminal industry.

On the Programming side, our Bill Snyder interviewed Matt Swaim, Co-Host of the Son Rise Morning Show, heard weekdays 6A-8A. You can catch that YouTube interview here. If you haven't listened to the Son Rise Morning Show, you're missing out on a wide variety of topics from many well known guests. You will come away feeling better informed and wanting to share what you learn with others. Here's a sample!

In August we will be rolling out new monthly programs on our Catholic Schools, Pro-Life Ministries and a special series on the Lives of the Saints from Holy Heroes.
