Well, here it is. Episode 12, the final one for Season 4. It's a bit longer than usual, but if you don't need the introduction, start at around 1 min 16 seconds. It concerns Helen's 103 year old neighbour, Nana Madeleine, and something that was lost many, many years ago. All the voices are played by me. I'm now taking a break for a few weeks to write up Season 5, help out with my new grandson, and take a holiday with the American branch of my family. In Europe. Hopefully. See you on the other ...

Helen is taking a break from sharing her doings for a few weeks. But I thought you might enjoy this song, "The Bottom Line:" which I wrote for Susannah Finzi's hilarious political satire of the same name back in 2019. It was recorded at Crosstown Studios, Liverpool, and is available - along with more of my songs - at https://flloydwith2ells.bandcamp.com. Ep 1 of Season 5 kicks off with Helen receiving a phone call at 11.30 pm from her friend Louise who is in a care home near Lancaster . And she is reminded that not all old women are the same. There are certainly many ways that the word 'old' could be defined, and Helen and Louise would be two of them. Ep 5, and Helen is beginning to find fonts getting paler and smaller, and background noise getting louder. Her cafe friend, Evan from Wales (played by Edward Donnelly) comes to the rescue. Once again, I apologise for the delay in getting this up. Fact is, I'm both excited and overwhelmed to be working on a new, spin-off series involving Helen and her friends in a totally, seriously silly adventure. It's proving to be extremely labour and time intensive, so I'm closing down Season 5 to get on with it. I hope to have the new series ready for you in a few weeks. Thanks for listening - stay safe! Season 6 kicks off with a brand new look, new musical theme, and an amazing adventure for Helen and the crew. This is a screwball comedy serial, in which there are super powers and superior beings handing them out, possibly for the good of the planet. It all remains to be seen. Rene is played by Christopher McDougall, while Helen, Demeter, Persephone, Janey and Susan are playing by Flloyd Kennedy. The episode theme music is "In the Labyrinth", and the music introducing the two Greek people is ...
