Perceptive, Intelligent, Relatable

I love listening to this podcast. It is like hearing from upbeat, sarcastic, witty old friends. They cover parenting topics without the baggage or preachiness, but there is still a lot to learn.

This show is so wonderful… Margaret and Amy are so fun to listen to and always have a relatable take on the things that all of us have to deal with as parents. Every episode is relevant and entertaining and the Fresh Takes are always helpful too… Always look forward to listening to the latest episode!

Makes the work lighter while giving useful advice

This show strikes a great balance between poking fun at the drudgery of parenting (and marriage) while also getting some great perspectives and producing some really great advice. Their kids are slightly older than mine so I feel like I’m benefiting from their experience

So funny and relatable

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years and it consistently makes me LOL. I’m sure the people in my neighborhood think I’m nuts for laughing during my solo walks, but I work from home alone so sometimes Amy & Margaret are the only adults I encounter all day! I enjoy their interviews with authors & experts too.

Hands down fav parenting podcast

I recommend this podcast to all of my parent friends. My fav episodes are Wednesdays because they’re so funny. They also release an episode on Friday which has a guest host and is more informative. They also have quick ‘ask Margaret’ or ‘ask Amy’ episodes which are really helpful. This is my favourite podcast 🙌🏼

Episode 10/7/22. White mom here who isn’t just assuming that all motherhood experiences are the same and just like mine. My mom raised three of us alone with no help/ alimony/ child support, my daughter has had serious illnesses since age two, I would say all our experiences are different , just saying

I listen religiously each morning while driving to work. Never have I ever encountered a pair of ladies who just get me. Every single topic, every single episode is so relatable. Thank you for making me feel heard and seen and thank you for somehow just making my life complete!

Love it!

So funny and relatable!

Amy and Margaret always make me laugh; as a newer mom (of toddlers), I love their insight and look up to them as parents of older kids. My favorite episodes are ones in which they’ve collected examples from their Facebook group of moms - hilarious!

My happy place!

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review sooner! This show is the place I go when I need someone who understands me, when I need to laugh, or when I’m looking for some wisdom from some friends who are just a few steps ahead of me in life! When I feel insane this show normalizes it for me! :) I don’t think there is another show that actually causes me to laugh out loud! Amy calling Marcia Brady, ‘Martha Brady’, and picturing Margaret blasting tacos at her kids with a high powered fan still get me every time! I wish we were friends in real life! Thanks for doing what you do! I look forward to hearing from you every Wednesday!!

Listen to it

Great balance of helpful advice and comic relief. Makes you feel like you’re sitting around with with friends chatting. Wish I could join them with a glass of wine. Very relatable, which brings comfort and reassurance.
