Charlotte "Charlie" Albers

Charlie is a multi-nominated SOVAS and ONE Voice talent, an Earphones Award winner, and recipient of the w3 (AIVA) “Best Voiceover in Video” for Dior. In addition to recording for wellness clients and apps, she has voiced award-winning video games, commercials and tv promos. To date she’s recorded 170+ audiobooks both as herself and under the pseudonym Allie Rose for clients such as Audible, Brilliance Audio, Blue Nose Audio, Graphic Audio, Harper Collins, Podium Entertainment, Tantor Audio and Spotify.

Working from her professional home studio near Manhattan, Charlie serves prominent voiceover clients worldwide, including the BBC, Christian Dior, Disney, Diageo, ESPN, Google, Lionsgate, Max Mara, Microsoft, Netflix, Playstack, Shopify, Spotify, Universal Music Group, Victoria Beckham, Virgin Atlantic, Warner Bros, and more.

Charlie is a trained chef who holds a BSc (Hons) in Food Science, Consumer Psychology, & Behaviour, along with a minor in Broadcast Journalism. She has also trained with the renowned Anthony Meindl & Joseph Pearlman schools of acting and has graced the stage at the Bristol Old Vic and Theatre Royal Bath.

Her unique background in culinary arts and journalism, combined with her formal acting training, contributes to her nuanced performances in the recording booth. This blend of experiences allows her to bring authenticity, rhythm, and depth to each script she narrates, enhancing her vocal versatility and connecting with a broad audience.

Thanks to English, Welsh, and Scottish heritage and years living across Europe and the USA, she has honed a broad range of accents and dialects. She often performs Literary Fiction and Humorous character-driven stories as well as Cozies, Romance, Psychological Thriller, Horror, and Erotica.
