U.S. Ambassador to Canada Pete Hoekstra (aka Ambassador Doucheface) tried to take his recently embarked upon 'charm offensive' — or is that his 'offensive charm'; I always get them confused? — to CTV Question Period host Vassy Kapelos.
The interview, clearly, did not go the way he had planned, with Kapelos having planned to commit some rather impressive journalism, that held his feet to the fire.
This destabilized him, causing his body language and tone to shift, and during the interview, he "diplomatically" made three 'threats' — and one major revelation about Ontario Premier Doug Ford — that show that no matter how the current U.S. administration is packaging it, its position towards us is that we are nothing more than a one-way resource supplier for its ambitions to be utterly exploited.
