Called it!
As we predicted, with about two hours to go before the deadline, Donald Jagoff Trump tacoed himself whole on the prospective 50% tariffs schedule to come into effect, affecting about 1% of our GDP ($28b in goods and services) on usually CUSMA-exempt products.
He has given three (how magnanimous!) extra days to move things forward, but there is a discrepancy: He is claiming we are on the verge of a 'DEAL!', while our Prime Minister claims the opposite, so it would appear that today's Trump Reality TV Show is: 'Taco Deal Meal or No Taco Deal Meal'
And it appears we might have found a way to give ol' Orange Thrush a 'win' that costs us absolutely nothing.
