Candidates running under the banner of The Liberal Party of Canada swept all three by-elections last night, leaving the government of PM Mark Carney with the slimmest of (potentially future-growing) working majorities.
What is potentially next for the parties and leaders? We offer some analysis and commentary.
The citizens of Hungary defied odds that had been increasingly stacked against them over the last 16-years and broke through a designed-to-be-election-proof system to throw their dictatorial leader out on his ear and chose to turn toward Europe (and away from Russia).
Both events are direct blows to The Global Right.

Finally, the Coalition Avenir Québec has chosen its new leader and there is some chatter that she may have the stuff required to, at least, save the party from total annihilation in October's provincial general election (which would be quite a significant achievement).
