That upcoming by-election in Terrebonne is becoming less and less important as the Liberal government of Mark Carney picks up yet another floor-crosser from the CPC (and given their past pro-CPC and pro-convoy pronouncements, it is someone nobody expected).
As the Liberals are now at 171 seats (with perhaps nine more to go according to La Presse's JD Bellavance), they only need to win one of the three by-elections for a technical majority and two more for an operational one.
