Federal NDP MP Don Davies (Vancouver Kingsway) introduces a private member's bill to ban floor crossings and/or force MPs who leave their parties to sit as independents, attempting to gaslight Canadians via populism, that floor-crossings are undemocratic (though they have been provided for, for ages, within the Westminster Parliamentary System).
Mr. Beaver urges Canadians to not surrender the power they have, as under our system, the seat an MP occupies belongs to the constituents of the electoral riding, not the party, and constituents are entitled to the fullest and most robust representation possible.
