In the lead-up to the expected big announcement of expanded terms of the MOU with Alberta on building a pipeline, PM Mark Carney announces a plan to double our electricity grid by 2050.
The terms of the bitumen pipeline MOU get watered down even more, particularly as it pertains to climate issues, which is concerning, given the context that both Smith and the oil patch have been signalling, from the start, their intent to renege on or renegotiate (to still yet lower standards) the climate terms to which they agreed when signing the MOU
