Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney totally flipped the CUSMA, going on offence, claiming the United Statesian offer just wasn't good enough.
Usually, IQ47 is the first to play that card.
However, armed with public opinion surveys that very clearly indicate that the shareholders of Canada have had enough of their cantankerous business partner and additionally that greater that 100,000 of them have already voted to fire Ambassador Doucheface, Mark Carney, with the whole world watching, pretty much became the first world leader to tell the US administration: " not good enough; do better" on the trade file.
It's quite the power move.
And given that the United States, with each passing day, has fewer and fewer cards to play, it's a rather bold move that could pay dividends.
