Courage, Hope and Resilience- A conversation with Ashely Ferris

Courage, Hope and Resilience- A conversation with Ashely Ferris

Welcome back to the podcast, I’m Jamie Baynes. I went to an officer safety and wellness conference in Louisville, Kentucky and sat in on about twenty lectures, given by professors, psychologists, social workers and my favorite group, police officers. Out of all the presentations, one stood out and moved me the most. It was given by Ashley Ferris, a police officer from Lakewood Colorado. What did she talk about that had such an impact on me? Listen to our conversation and find out.

Once you listen, drop me a line and let me know what you think.  Are you as amazed at Ashley as much as I am? She is one of the bravest, courageous, humble, funny and honest person that I have ever had the pleasure to speak with. I truly feel honored that she took the time out of her schedule to share her experience with me and my listeners. Ashley helped so many people when she was a police officer and now she’s extended her reach to help even more people.

That’s what life is all about. Helping each other and working toward the common goal of peace and respect for everyone.

I’d like to thank Ashley again for coming on the podcast and continuing to do the good that she does.

And thank you for listening. Take care of one another.
